Kyoto Kuomyama Yakiniku Shokudo Shinshin is located just a 5-minute bus ride from Kintetsu Okubo Station, turning west at the Daikubo Tahara intersection on Route 24. They have a parking lot available. I ordered a lunch special that was recommended by Kansai Information Network's #OutingConcierge. There are only two lunch options: Wagyu rare steak set for 1,680 yen and premium Wagyu rare steak set for 2,180 yen. I decided to indulge in the premium Wagyu rare steak set (limited quantity) for 2,180 yen, with an additional 150 yen for egg yolk. They use only A4 or higher grade female black-haired Wagyu, selecting the most marbled part of the thigh meat... it melts in your mouth, seriously, it's incredibly delicious. The taste is refreshing, not heavy, and you'll end up eating a lot. Finally, I had Hitsumabushi and it was a feast. The price is a bit high, but it's definitely worth trying at least once. Once you try the Wagyu set, you won't forget it. I discovered a recommended spot. Business hours are 11:00-14:00 (until sold out) and 17:00-22:00.
