I tried Beard Papa's cream puffs for the first time. You can choose from about 4 different types of dough, and I chose cookie dough with milk vanilla cream inside. The dough was crispy and light, and the cream was smooth. It had both milk vanilla cream and custard cream inside. There are also several other types of dough and cream, so I would like to try them again.

I was at MOMO Terrace and happened to pass by Pierrot Papa, so I decided to stop by. They had the classic cream puffs, but they also had Paris Brest. I was curious about the taste, so I bought one. I tried it right away. The standout feature is the dough. It's definitely different from the soft image of a cream puff, with a firm dough that was surprising. The custard inside is the same as Pierrot Papa's, and it was quite delicious.

The shop specializes in cream puffs priced at 350 yen each (SHIRO 180 yen, Paris-Brest 170 yen). I noticed a long line when I passed by before, so I didn't buy anything. This time, there was no one waiting, so I decided to try it. I forgot to take a picture of the Paris-Brest, but it was delicious. It apparently has almond powder in the crust, but I couldn't really taste it. The SHIRO has cream cheese filling, but both the crust and the cream were just okay. It's a summer limited edition item sold from May to September, so maybe it's better when eaten chilled during hot weather? Next time, I will try the classic pie choux or cookie choux.
