On regular days, the daily special is 1,000 yen and reasonable. This time, I ordered the chef's choice for 1,800 yen. It was very delicious with a variety of dishes. For 1,800 yen, it's cheap. Especially, the green tea soba here is tastier than at a soba specialty shop.

I visited this restaurant for the first time in almost two years. I was interested in the Wednesday limited "Legendary B Lunch" (¥1000). I was torn between the daily special and the "Legendary B Lunch," so I asked, "Which one do you recommend?" The staff suggested the "Legendary B Lunch," so I ordered it. After waiting for about 10 minutes, the food arrived. However, there was a mistake in the dish - the pork chop was missing and instead there was pork sauté. The hamburger was small but juicy, with a standard taste of demi-glace sauce. The white fish fry was delicious and went well with the tartar sauce. The pork sauté was seasoned well with salt and pepper, but the cooking process was a bit off due to the hot iron plate. Overall, the food was decent, but I was disappointed not to have the pork chop. I visited late, so there were not many customers, but suddenly one customer sat behind me and started smoking. It was a spacious restaurant, but for some reason, they chose to sit right behind me and smoke. Well, I guess I won't be coming back here in the future. Disappointing.

It felt like they put more emphasis on quality over quantity, and all the dishes were carefully prepared. And all of this for just 1,000 yen... The cost performance was excellent, and I was very satisfied. I'm already thinking about trying the "Sakana Teishoku" (fish set meal) next time.

I finally had the chance to visit Minato, a shop I had been interested in for a while. The interior of the shop has a nice and calming atmosphere. Since I was dining alone, I hesitated between sitting at the counter or getting the daily special, but I decided on the Hasho Gozen, which includes fried horse mackerel and cold shabu-shabu. It was a perfect combination for someone like me who loves fried food! The fried horse mackerel was crispy and hot, while the pork cutlet was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I enjoyed the buckwheat tea, pickled vegetables, and rice as well. I would like to try the Wednesday limited set next time.

During Golden Week, my wife and I had a meal on a hot summer day. I enjoyed my favorite chilled Chinese noodles with sesame sauce. It was topped with plenty of fresh vegetables and was very refreshing. I especially liked the way the cucumbers were sliced and arranged. This menu is only available during this season, but I look forward to it every year. It is delicious and I am always impressed by the careful preparation of the dishes. While waiting, I noticed they had a Yuba rice bowl on the menu, which looked delicious. However, my excitement was dampened when the previous customer started smoking and purple smoke filled the air. Thankfully, they left before my meal arrived, minimizing the impact. The set meal included thin pork cutlet, cream croquette, and two pieces of fried chicken, along with pickled vegetables, miso soup, and rice. The rice was particularly outstanding, made with high-quality local rice. I couldn't resist getting a second helping. The food was delicious overall. The restaurant also had a selection of alcohol and seemed to transform into an izakaya at night, allowing smoking. This was the only downside, as it affected the enjoyment of delicate dishes like the Yuba rice bowl. I hope they consider making it non-smoking during lunch hours. I would have loved to try their winter limited edition Botan hot pot, but the smoking issue holds me back. Thank you for the meal.

One month ago, our shop was flooded during the heavy rain in Fukuchiyama, but we have finally recovered and the delicious flavors have returned. I decided to try the fresh yuba rice bowl that I had always been curious about. It was as delicious as I had hoped, with thick yuba topped with warm anko, creating a unique texture that I had never experienced before. Just being able to encounter this rice bowl made me happy. The atmosphere in the restaurant is calm and very pleasant. Last time, I tried the seasonal cold noodles with plenty of vegetables, and it was refreshing and very tasty.

I visited for lunch, which had a good reputation before, and I was satisfied with the cost performance, so I gave it an overall rating of 4. It is not enough to just say that it was tough for the restaurant to go through the damage caused by the flood, but I sincerely hope that this review can be of help in some way.
