The dishes made with fresh ingredients were all delicious, including the curry udon and warabimochi. They were too tasty with plenty of fried tofu and chicken. The service was extremely friendly. I will definitely go back. Thank you for the meal!

I have always wanted to visit this restaurant! Today, I went for a New Year's party! The food that came out was delicious! I have been passing by in my car for a while and have always wanted to go, so I was very happy to finally make it today! The sashimi was fresh and you could taste it, from the first bite it was a blissful time! Next time, I want to go for a private visit and fully enjoy it!

Originally a sushi restaurant, it has now been taken over by the father and transformed into a chic and stylish Japanese dining establishment. Despite its upscale atmosphere, the restaurant maintains a homey feel due to its location and the fact that it is run by a family. This was my first visit since it became Arashibito, a familiar spot for many families and relatives. With a history as a sushi restaurant, the menu offers a wide variety of fresh and high-quality fish, ensuring delicious Japanese cuisine. The sashimi is a must-try, and any dish recommended by the staff is sure to be a winner. The steamed bun was delicious, with a focus on the natural flavors of the ingredients and a sweet yet subtle filling. Although it is not a place I usually frequent, I enjoyed the change of scenery and the warm hospitality. I will definitely be back again!

I visited around October 2013. Matsuo is a rare shop that stays open late. I think it was until 2 o'clock, if I'm not mistaken. The chef, who studied cooking in Gion, makes amazing dishes! Especially the sashimi and fish dishes are delicious, maybe because the chef's father used to run a sushi restaurant. It's a great place for a date or a party early in the evening, and you can also enjoy drinking alone at the counter later on. There seems to be a tatami room at the back of the shop where about 10 people can sit. The interior is quite beautiful and nice. I visited for the second time in March 2014. It was a Saturday, so there were 3 groups of 5 people and a group in the back tatami room, making it quite lively. Today, I ordered shrimp sashimi, spring rolls, and warm shabu salad. The warm shabu salad is highly recommended! I forgot to take a picture, but the shrimp and spring rolls were also delicious.
