I visited the restaurant around 11:30 am on Saturday, May 20, 2023, and there was a long line. I was the first customer, but more people started coming in soon after. I ordered the chicken broth ramen. It only took about 5 minutes for the ramen to be served. The soup was rich and quite thick, with a lot of oiliness. It was more on the heavy side rather than being rich. The noodles didn't have a distinct feature, but that's understandable since it's not a ramen specialty shop. The chashu was firm and had a strong flavor.

We went to a nearby restaurant that looked delicious, and there were many chicken dishes that all looked amazing. We ordered a variety of dishes, but the best one was the one that truly highlighted the deliciousness of the chicken. The tsukune and oyakodon were especially delicious.

I visited a nearby yakitori restaurant that I had never been to before. Although I arrived early and there were available seats, it seemed like reservations were full. The menu was extensive and offered a lot of choices. I ordered a variety of items from salad to skewers to fried foods and ate until I was full. The chicken soup ochazuke that I ordered as a final dish was quite rich and tasted like ramen soup. They also serve ramen during lunch, so I plan to visit again.

As of February 2023, the price for the Char Siu Ramen is 1,120 yen, and the rice is 100 yen. Today, I finally visited a ramen shop that I had been eyeing for a few months. Upon entering, I had to take off my shoes, which gave more of an izakaya or yakitori shop vibe rather than a ramen shop. The ramen had a generous amount of slightly rare Char Siu, which I really liked. When I took a sip of the soup, I was surprised by its viscosity, flavor, and color. In short, it was delicious! If I had to describe it, it was closer to a chicken white broth rather than a thick pork soup, similar to Tenkaippin. The noodles were slightly thick straight noodles. The extra amount of green onions might be a Kyoto thing? The rice was also well-prepared. Overall, it was a delicious meal. I think I will visit again in the future.

I heard that ramen was starting for lunchtime and decided to visit! I ordered the chicken white broth ramen. As expected from a yakitori restaurant, the chicken white broth soup was amazingヽ(´▽`)/ The char siu topping had a rare texture and was tender and delicious!! Tired from a long day, I visited the restaurant around 10 pm on a weekday. Last order was at 10:45 pm, but I assured them I wouldn't stay long. I took off my shoes and entered the restaurant. I was grateful when they quickly brought me my first beer. I ordered several skewers of yakitori and shrimp tempura. The shrimp tempura was beautifully shaped, almost like a food sample, and had a nice crunchy texture. It was delicious. The chicken wings were the largest I've ever had, and juicy on the inside. Since it was late, there were not many other customers, but the voices of the staff at the grill were a bit too loud and distracting. Overall, the food seemed even better than when I visited a few years ago when they first opened.

Pine leaf is delicious. I was taken to a restaurant by a customer who said so, and I tried it for the first time. Pine leaf seems to be a difficult part of the bird's breastbone to handle, but when fried, it is very tasty and not greasy. The texture is moist and reminiscent of frog meat. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly, and I would love to visit again. The restaurant does not open for lunch, but it was full when we visited in the evening. I would like to return and enjoy it by myself.

This is a yakitori restaurant in Kyoto, located about a 4-5 minute walk from Tanbaguchi. I had made a reservation over the phone beforehand. The interior of the restaurant has a counter, tables, and tatami seating. There was only one customer when I arrived, and it seemed like most of the customers were regulars. I ordered some light dishes - liver, thigh, back skin, and rocket potato salad. The appetizer was a spicy salad. The liver was cooked quickly, the thigh was juicy with crispy skin, the back skin was a rare cut, and the back meat was fatty. The restaurant didn't have any foreign tourists, likely due to the impact of COVID-19.

This is a yakitori restaurant in Gojo. It's close to Tanbaguchi Station, so I often stop by on my way home. It used to not be crowded, but lately I see it full quite often! They offer a variety of hot pot courses, such as collagen-rich white broth hot pot, golden broth hot pot, beef hormone hot pot, and pork shabu-shabu hot pot. I just had some skewers last time, but next time I'll try their hot pot too! They also have counter seats, making it easy for solo drinkers to visit.

I knew about this place for a while but couldn't make it there until now. It was really crowded on the weekend, so I recommend making a reservation. The pickles were delicious! The salad was just okay. It took a bit of time for the yakitori to come out, but it was tasty. I highly recommend this place for a casual dining experience. There are many other courses and menu options available, so be sure to check it out.

This is a yakitori restaurant located near Tanbajima Research Park. It was quite busy when we visited, but we were able to find a seat. In addition to yakitori, they also serve kushikatsu and hot pot dishes. The "matsuba" rare cut was delicious. I especially liked the soup. The prices were reasonable and the spacious seating was a plus.

I visited Yakitori Nobu after finishing some business at Kyoto Research Park in July 2019. It is the second branch of the restaurant located in Kitano. Despite not having a reservation, we were able to smoothly get a table around 6 pm. We ordered drinks, chicken cartilage karaage, Bambanji salad, seseri with ponzu sauce, yakitori skewers, chicken thigh tataki, and chicken porridge. We ate a lot and the total bill for two people was 3600 yen. The food was delicious, but the seasoning on the yakitori and karaage was a bit mild, almost needing extra salt. The yakitori skewers were priced around 200 yen each, but the meat was smaller than expected. The chicken giblet stew served as an appetizer was also tasty. It would have been better if they provided a detailed receipt at the end, but I guess it's common for izakayas not to do so. I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars.

On a certain weekday evening, there was a meeting at Kyoto Research Park. After struggling to stay awake and finally finishing the meeting, I headed straight to this yakitori restaurant. This is my second visit here. The last time, I was introduced by a client and had a pretty good impression. Chicken heart ¥240, Chicken liver ¥220, Chicken gizzard ¥170, Chicken skin ¥170, Negima (chicken thigh with leek) ¥220, Chicken back meat ¥220, Pork with leek ¥250, Shiitake mushroom ¥180, Soup rice with tea pickles ¥810, Draft beer (Kirin Lager) ¥520, Red wine ¥520 I was very satisfied today as well. Especially the basic yakitori was fantastic. The quality of the ingredients and the perfect grilling. Anyone you bring here will be reasonably pleased. We ate to our heart's content with 4 people, and the bill came to just under ¥5,000 per person. I might have eaten a bit too much.

I visited the popular yakitori restaurant, Nobi-san, which has opened its second store nearby. The location is near Rearch Park, in Gojo Shichihonmatsu, and the interior of the new store is clean and has a nice atmosphere. I was happy to see sunken kotatsu seats. - Liver sashimi and chicken breast sashimi were both fresh and delicious. The liver was served with the classic sesame oil. - Various types of yakitori like tsukune, negima, seseri, and tebasaki were juicy and had a good balance of sauce. The flavors were just right, not too overwhelming. I could see why this place is popular. - I forgot the name, but there was a dish similar to karaage with ponzu sauce. It looked a bit over-fried at first, but it was actually light and tasty with the ponzu sauce and grated radish. - Chicken soup was like the rich soup you get at a hot pot restaurant. It's best to adjust the seasoning with a bit of salt before enjoying it. The restaurant seems to be busy since it's relatively new, but the delicious yakitori is definitely worth a visit. I would like to go back since it's close by.

Yakitori is delicious as a standalone dish, but it can feel a bit pricey. Around the market area, you often encounter a rowdy middle-aged crowd, and it can be uncomfortable when families with children and grandchildren are having a party in the back room.
