Here, at Kyoto Yakiniku Yoshida-san‼️ I was surprised after a long time. Despite being in an area with many foreign tourists in Gojo, there were no foreign customers. It's a stylish Japanese-style place that seems to appeal to foreigners, but the reason became clear right away‼️ The official menu listed on Tabelog is reasonable, but in reality, the prices are high‼️ This method is no good, right⤵︎ The recommended menu from the restaurant is a 3 kinds of sliced meat platter for 4,900 yen‼️ and a thick cut meat platter for 7,900 yen‼️ Seriously? How much will it cost if you have a drink, kimchi, and then order more‥ it's scary‥ Tabelog only shows high-end menus that are not listed in the official menu⤵︎ But they keep promoting themselves as reasonable with menus that are not on Tabelog (lol) If you want to sell high-end, it's better to be upfront about it‥ but what does "reasonable" mean‥

The shop is located a little off the main street and has a nice exterior. You order by writing on a paper. The service is minimal, with staff only interacting when taking drink orders or serving food, lacking in smiles. The taste is good, but nothing exceptional. The portion size is generous, which is nice. I might visit again if I have the chance.

I had put this restaurant on my list on Tabelog with the intention of going someday. However, the location is in Gojo, so it's not a place I would go to casually. I recommend this place for people who:
- Prefer less fatty meat and enjoy Harami cuts
- Are in their 40s and can't eat as much meat as they used to, but still love yakiniku
- Want to treat someone casually or reward hard-working subordinates
- Are looking for a hidden gem type of restaurant, not a well-known place like Hiro or other famous establishments.
It's a yakiniku restaurant with a chic and upscale atmosphere, so the prices are on the higher side. A small bottle of beer and oolong tea would cost around 10,000 yen, so it's not something you would use for everyday dining. The first seared Yukhoe is interesting and unlike anything I've seen before. The thickly sliced salted tongue was too thick for my liking. The quality of the meat is very good, but I would prefer if the presentation was more stylish.
I do not recommend this place for people who:
- Guzzle beer and rice, getting full quickly
- Can't believe spending over 10,000 yen on yakiniku
- Are looking for a place for a second round or close to a cabaret club
Yakiniku is usually a casual and fun experience where you can wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. You expect to enjoy the smoky atmosphere, gulp down beer, and eat rice quickly. If that's the experience you're looking for, then this place is not a good match. People who prefer more marbled meat or want a meal and drinks for around 5,000 yen should consider going to a different restaurant. Also, since the location is in Gojo, it's not suitable for those looking to have a lively time in the downtown area for a second round. However, if you plan to bring a cabaret club hostess along, have a relaxed meal, and then take a taxi to Gion, then this place could work.

It's a cozy hidden gem of a restaurant. The interior is predominantly black, making for a beautiful space. They ask you to write your order on paper for the first time. I prefer thinner cuts of meat, so I opted for the regular thickness tongue, but it was quite thick and satisfying to eat. The thick cut meat platter includes marushin, ichibo, and harami. They were thicker than expected, almost like steaks. I wasn't sure how long to cook them for, but they were cooked evenly. Marushin and ichibo were tender and fatty, while I've come to appreciate leaner cuts. Today, I couldn't quite taste the sweetness or umami of the meat, maybe my taste buds were off. The harami was also thick and cooked well, tender and delicious. The sauce was a light soy-based one, which I enjoyed. Their homemade lemon soda was really delicious, not too sweet with a strong lemony tang, very refreshing. Thank you for the meal.

Finishing off the sightseeing in Kyoto with yakiniku has become a routine, but due to time constraints, I couldn't go far from Kyoto Station. However, I stumbled upon this shining restaurant and decided to visit it on foot after passing by Higashi Honganji Temple. The exterior and interior were elegant, raising my expectations for the meal. I ordered the thick-cut tongue and special meat assortment, along with spicy soup, kimchi, and rice. The "thick-cut tongue" wasn't as thick as expected, but it was tender and juicy, satisfying nonetheless. The "special meat assortment" included three types of meat, each with a different level of fattiness but all had a sweet and refined flavor. The spicy soup wasn't too spicy and allowed the umami flavor to shine through. Kyoto's cuisine is not overly stimulating, which I personally enjoy. I must mention the braised beef in red miso served as an appetizer, which was rich in flavor and a perfect accompaniment to rice. Overall, I left the restaurant feeling very satisfied. My friend requested a rating of 3.7 for this review, so out of gratitude for their enjoyment, I humbly give it a 3.8.

I had plans to go to Kyoto for work, so I stopped by on my way back! The exterior of the restaurant is very chic and gives off a yakiniku vibe. It's located in a surprising location, which I found very charming. The interior is clean and beautiful, with private rooms available. Next time, I would like to dine in one of those private rooms. We started with the yukhoe, which was absolutely delicious with its Japanese-style sauce and egg topping. I couldn't resist ordering more! While I forgot to take photos, all the other meats were also delicious. Personally, I really enjoyed the popular tail soup as a finishing touch. The prices for the dishes were just right, not too expensive nor too cheap. However, I was a bit disappointed with the service from the staff, as it didn't quite live up to the atmosphere of the restaurant. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I searched for a nice atmosphere yakiniku restaurant near Kawaramachi and found a great one! The ambiance was nice and the meat was delicious. The staff were friendly. They had private rooms and a counter, so it's suitable for any occasion. The prices were not too high or too low, just right.

First visit. The interior of the restaurant is clean and has a calm atmosphere that seems suitable for any occasion. It goes without saying that it is cheaper than Tokyo. The thick-cut tongue and special selected loin were both reasonably priced considering the quality of the meat. Two dishes that were definitely worth ordering. The texture of the tongue and the deliciousness of the meat itself were unexpectedly good compared to Tokyo standards. The loin was tender, with delicious fat that made it go well with rice. I was satisfied with the other meats as well. It may be possible to find cheaper and tastier restaurants, but this place is recommended for those who seek reliability. *The photo shows only some of the dishes we ordered.

The quality of the meat is top-notch. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also top-notch. However, the way the staff rushes the order is unpleasant. If they could provide more thoughtful customer service, it would be perfect. If you're going to talk non-stop, please leave. I would like to visit again for the meat, but not for the service.

I used a popular yakiniku restaurant in Gojo, Kyoto for entertaining. I was impressed by each dish that made me ecstatic. The white cabbage pickles as a chopstick rest were the best, even without kimchi. The light simmered dish was delicious. Tan yukke, thickly sliced tongue, and various other top-quality meats. It was delicious! Instagram: kuidaore.8.

The grilled meat at Yakiniku Yoshida is good, and the side dishes are worth the price. However, the atmosphere inside the restaurant is a bit dull and lacks energy. Considering the prices are not cheap, it may be difficult to revisit without any special appeal.

There was plenty of space between tables and the tables were slightly larger, making it very comfortable. The staff's service was also good and it seems suitable for entertaining guests.

I tried exploring a new restaurant, but the atmosphere inside was quiet. I sat at the counter, but the kitchen was hidden behind frosted glass, and the staff seemed cold. After finishing my meal, they quickly cleared the plates without any lingering feeling. It seemed like they were aiming to be a high-end restaurant, but it was a mysterious place. The meat was just average. In the end, without ordering anything else, I hurriedly left and went to my usual yakiniku restaurant to start over.
