After finishing work, I drove to this shop. There is a parking lot next to the shop, but it's too narrow to reverse in, so I had to back in. When I entered the shop, there were already two customers. I sat at a table and ordered a Char siu ramen (800 yen) and fried chicken wings (400 yen). The slightly cloudy soy sauce broth was topped with plenty of Kujo green onions and char siu. When I tasted the soup, I could sense a slight animal-based soup smell. As I continued to drink, the initial smell faded and I could taste the acidity of the soy sauce and the richness of the chicken broth more. The soup seemed to be a combination of chicken and pork bones, but the pork bone flavor wasn't too strong. The noodles were cooked slightly soft, with a low water content, and were thin straight noodles that paired well with the broth. The thick-cut braised pork char siu provided a satisfying bite. The fried chicken wings, which arrived a bit late, had a slightly strong seasoning, a fragrant aroma, and were hot with juicy meat inside, making them very delicious. When I added the spicy garlic paste halfway through the ramen, it added a spicy kick and enhanced the flavor. Although the soup had a slight animal-based smell that may be divisive, I personally didn't mind it. As I finished the ramen, the shop owner approached me and we chatted about the Hanshin Tigers (the shop is filled with posters of Hanshin players), ramen, and fried chicken wings. When I mentioned I was the same age as former Hanshin player Hiyama, she complimented me by saying I looked very young, which made me happy (though it didn't affect my rating, of course). The soup seemed to be based on a chicken and pork bone broth, with various other ingredients added. The ramen was delicious, but the fried chicken wings were also very tasty. I plan to come back next time to enjoy the fried chicken wings with a cold beer as an appetizer and finish with another bowl of ramen.
