When you go south from Ishida Station on the subway Tozai Line, you will find a restaurant. They have both counter and table seating available. You can order using a touch panel and make a contactless payment at the touch panel or at the register near the entrance. The tables are equipped with chopsticks, paper napkins, dressing, and pickled ginger. They offer breakfast and lunch menus at reasonable prices. I tried the new menu item, the Tomato Beef Bowl (mini size, with miso soup and salad). It was like a cafe meal with added tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, cheese, nuts, and kale, all mixed together for a delightful texture and flavor. The miso soup was hearty with plenty of ingredients, and the salad was colorful and generous. You can choose from three dressings: Japanese-style, sesame, or French, which adds to the enjoyment. The Okra Beef Bowl Lunch (mini size, with miso soup and rice cake) is another great option. You can save around 100 yen by ordering the lunch set, which includes three types of bowls. You can also customize the bowl size and change miso soup to pork soup for an additional fee. The bonito flakes come in a separate bag, so you can add them according to your preference. Overall, adding some shichimi pepper or soy sauce could enhance the flavor. I almost forgot about it until the very end.

Beef bowl set with miso soup for 580 yen. I arrived at 4:45 am for breakfast. It had been a while since I had eaten beef bowl, so I decided to come and have some. It was delicious, although the miso soup wasn't that great. I wonder when I will have beef bowl again! I am satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

This restaurant has a drive-thru, so even though I'm not comfortable dining alone, I can easily grab a meal in my car. I often find myself too busy at work to take a lunch break, so I would eat quickly in my car before heading in. After using the drive-thru a few times, I noticed that the times I go are less crowded, so I gathered up the courage to dine inside. If it didn't work out, I could always get my food to go. I was happy to be seated at a table instead of the counter, as I feel more at ease that way when dining alone. It's usually quiet during the mid-morning hours, with mostly solo male diners, but occasionally there are families or elderly couples. Unlike Yoshinoya, they offer a mini size option, which is great for me. I always get the mini beef bowl and tonjiru soup set. The soup is poured generously, so I can enjoy every last bit of rice. Quick, affordable, and conveniently located on my commute route, this restaurant has been a lifesaver for me.
