I was looking for a place where I could enjoy a leisurely yakiniku meal around Shinbashi, and I came across this highly recommended restaurant. It is located on the first floor of an Apa Hotel a short walk from Shinbashi Station. It was bustling even early on a weekday. There seemed to be many customers other than hotel guests. I ordered the Satisfaction Course with all-you-can-drink for 8,200 yen, which included: Edamame Dashi Ankake, Roast Yukke, Salt 4 kinds platter (Special Tan Salt, Pork Toro, Harami, Shin Shin), Mentaiko Chijimi, Namul, 3 kinds of sauce platter (Zabuton, Tomosankaku, Kamenoko), Tororo Dashi Onsen Tamago, Hormone (Shimacho, Hatsu), and Cold Noodles. You can have the staff grill the meat for you, or you can grill it yourself, which is nice. This time, I asked for the meat to be grilled in the best way possible. Both the yakiniku and other dishes were delicious. The Edamame Dashi Ankake, with plenty of edamame, had a hint of saltiness in the broth, making it light and tasty. Served in a Daruma-shaped dish, it was small but had a strong presence. The Roast Yukke was tender and the delicious fat spread gently as you chewed. The balance of sauce and meat was excellent, allowing me to enjoy the deliciousness of the meat itself. The Special Tan, with a good thickness, had a good elasticity and a good bite. It was very delicious. The Pork Toro, even when grilled, still had a good thickness. The sweet and delicious fat paired well with yuzu pepper. The thick-cut Harami had a good firmness and was full of flavor. The Shin Shin, with a good bite, had a rich taste as you chewed. The Mentaiko Chijimi had a crispy surface and a chewy interior. The flavor of the mentaiko was strong and delicious. The Zabuton is enjoyed with white rice and a rich egg yolk. The orange color of the yolk was unusual! I wanted to savor the rich umami from the meat, white rice, and egg yolk for a long time. The Tomosankaku was paired with crispy aromatic vegetables. The Kamenoko had a good balance of lean meat and marbling. For a palate cleanser, there was Tororo Dashi Onsen Tamago. It had a refreshing aftertaste but still had a strong flavor, so I ate it all up. The Shimacho had a bouncy texture, not just a firm one. As you chewed, sweet fat came out, allowing you to enjoy it for a long time. The Hatsu was tender with a good bite. It had no odor and had a strong aftertaste. The meal ended with cold noodles. The flavor of the noodle sauce made it easy to eat. It had Kaiware daikon, myoga, and carrots, and was light with the flavor of seaweed. Various types of meat were balanced and could be enjoyed with plenty of alcohol, making it a satisfying course. The speed of service was just right, so I had a good time chatting and enjoying delicious meat.
