Next to the ready-made food section, there is a space where they cook tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelette) in the store. They pack the freshly cooked tamagoyaki and sell it, and I sometimes see egg sandwiches, so I was curious about it. A thick slice of tamagoyaki costs 500 yen for 2 slices. I thought that was too much, so when I found a single slice option this time, I bought it! Because it's really thick, I was worried I couldn't finish 2 slices for dinner. So, I bought it as a snack, and even with just one slice, it's quite filling (laughs). The mayonnaise was generous, and the bread was soft, which paired well with the tamagoyaki. I don't like sandwich toast, and with toast, the firmness of the tamagoyaki doesn't match, causing the filling to spill out easily, which I don't like. That's why I preferred regular bread. If you come across it, please try buying it. It's more satisfying than it looks (*´▽｀*)

On the way back from visiting the grave, I bought some bread! Dashimaki Tamago sandwich! This is delicious!

In the food section of 1F, you can buy 100 yen bread from Hankyu Bakery and other breads that are not 100 yen on your own. You can pay at the self-checkout counter. The 180 yen garlic French bread is delicious.

I watched a TV show featuring katsu curry, which made me crave it. I bought frozen curry udon and kushikatsu, and made katsu curry udon! It was delicious! The kushikatsu had a variety of flavors and was amazing!

The taste may not be as high-end as specialty sushi restaurants, but it's still enjoyable. After encountering this service, I no longer use other takeout or delivery sushi restaurants. I believe that Izumiya's super-sized sushi plates are a great option for gatherings, offering good value for money. I think this service may be available at other Izumiya stores as well. I will definitely consider using Izumiya's super-sized sushi for future gatherings. They seem to have a strong preference for okonomiyaki. My mother heard something about it. It was certainly delicious. The yakisoba was also delicious. The natto rolls too. Izumiya's deli corner is quite good.

Sometimes, I have lunch at home. I enjoyed various deli dishes from Izumiya. I had delicious grilled dumplings, sweet and sour pork, fried chicken, and mackerel with miso glaze? It may seem like a lot of brown food, but as long as it's tasty, it's all good! Now, let's keep working hard in the afternoon.

It's a regular supermarket. The special feature is a wide variety of freshly baked bread at low prices. They also have a corner with famous Kyoto shops offering side dishes, miso-pickled fish, tofu, and more. They have items that you wouldn't find at your usual store, so I always make sure to do some shopping when I visit Tenjin.

Relatives came from Uji to celebrate our move. We sent them off to Uji with sushi that my mother bought. They seemed to have a hard time with housework while they were here (laughs). We are enjoying a leisurely time eating sushi and feeling warm and cozy.
