I bought a souvenir at a newly opened specialty sweet potato shop in Daigo, Kyoto. The shop specializes in "potato roasted in a pot". The owner, a lady who loves sweet potatoes, pays attention to the variety of sweet potatoes and how they are roasted. They were sold out of Beniharuka and Naruto Kintoki in the evening, so I bought four Silk Sweet L and Ama-tai Last S. It cost around 2100 yen. The sugar in the sweet potatoes comes to the surface, creating a thick syrup that melts on the skin, making it incredibly delicious. You can even eat the skin, and it's nutritious. It's the best, I will definitely come back to buy more.
