The parking lot is located in front of Totomato. This time, I tried Miyazu Chikuwa. Miyazu Chikuwa has a rich fish flavor and is delicious on its own, but when grilled, it becomes crispy and even more delicious. It is grilled over charcoal, enhancing the flavor significantly, making it highly recommended. Next time, I would like to enjoy it with some drinks.

"Tottamato" is located along the coast on the way from Miyazu City to Amanohashidate. It may be a bit difficult to find as the location is not very clear despite the sign along the national highway. Inside the stylish building, there are a seafood restaurant, a fresh fish shop, a store that grills dried fish on the spot, and a souvenir shop, with a central square serving as a food court. One of the shops inside is "KANEMASU7". The meaning of the name is unknown. They grill dried fish (ichiyokogoshi) on a charcoal brazier right there. The aroma is delightful. They offer a set of Thai, black scraper fish, sandfish, hairtail fish, and squid. I ordered the 1050 yen assortment and a Heshiko rice ball. It took about 10 minutes to be grilled. The assortment includes Thai, sandfish, and squid, along with vegetables and rolled omelette. The Heshiko rice ball is a local specialty where Heshiko (fish marinated in rice bran) is spread on a grilled rice ball. The freshly grilled fish is delicious. Be careful of the bones when eating the Thai fish. The sandfish can be eaten with the middle bones. The fish is tasty, and drying it enhances the flavor. The Heshiko rice ball has a unique taste but is not overpowering, with sufficient deliciousness. A restaurant specializing in dried fish like this is rare. It seems like a lot of effort and hard work, but it's quite interesting. It turned out to be a satisfying lunch. Thank you for the meal.
