There is a parking lot in front of the shop located northeast of Enmachi Station, but there are many coin parking lots on the street to the west. The atmosphere inside the shop is very nice. It opened in June, so it is very clean and stylish. The Japanese sweets were very delicious! Personally, the Minazuki was the best I've ever had! The balance between the top and bottom was good, with the top not too sweet and the bottom just sweet enough. I want to eat it again. It's perfect as a souvenir, so next time I'll bring some for my parents.

Today, I visited a new Japanese confectionery shop that opened on June 16, 2023 in the Enmachi area of Kyoto.
**Tokiya**
The owner, who trained at a long-established Japanese confectionery shop in Kyoto and previously operated a Japanese confectionery class, has now opened this new Japanese confectionery shop. The shop has a fresh and lovely atmosphere with displayed Japanese sweets and molds for dried sweets. In the back of the sales area, there are tables for Japanese confectionery classes for up to six people. The showcase in the sales corner displayed various types of fresh Japanese sweets, including a limited edition Mizuki and four seasonal fresh sweets (ranging from 432 yen to 486 yen) available until the end of June. The fresh sweets are said to change about once every half month, allowing customers to enjoy seasonal Japanese sweets throughout the year. However, all the fresh sweets were sold out today except for the hydrangea, so it is recommended to visit early if you want to purchase them. I ended up buying the hydrangea sweet.
**Hydrangea Sweet**
The sweet is made to resemble hydrangea flowers with amber representing raindrops. The bean paste inside has a gradient effect, showing intricate craftsmanship. The texture of the bean paste is fine and smooth. Due to only being able to purchase one type of sweet this time, I look forward to visiting this Japanese confectionery shop again soon.

This newly opened shop in June had many celebratory flowers displayed outside and inside. I received wagashi as a gift for the store's opening, including blue maple leaf, hydrangea, green plum, and Yama-Hoji. I also tried a black bean paste and white bean paste wagashi, which had a gentle and elegant flavor. Eating seasonal wagashi while feeling the season is truly delightful. They also seem to offer wagashi classes. It's a great shop, and I wonder if it will be passed down through generations.

This summer, a new Japanese confectionery shop with a lovely Kyoto-style exterior has opened. They have sweets shaped like rabbits and turtles, as well as various bread-shaped dried sweets that are interesting and cute. The bakery items for the Higan season had a gentle sweetness.
