It seems like this popular restaurant is as busy as ever. I arrived before 5 pm and the counter was already full, showing how popular it is. The menu offers solid and traditional bistro dishes, all of which were delicious. The only downside is that the wine prices are a bit high. There are bottles priced over 10,000 yen on the list, but I wonder if they actually get ordered. There are plenty of affordable and delicious wines out there. Despite this imbalance, the staff's service is excellent, making it a cozy place to dine. Thank you for the meal!

I have a friend who used to live in France and now lives in Kyoto. They took me to this restaurant for the second time. It has a casual vibe like a French bistro, making it easy to enter. The red tartan check tablecloth creates a very atmospheric and uplifting mood. The baguette with generous servings of butter, and the appetizers left me feeling full. I highly recommend ordering the butter.

How about having dinner at a cozy bar with a European-style atmosphere? I tried the ham, steak, and sausage at this place, and they were all topped with spicy butter, giving them a foreign taste! I really liked it, but I think tastes may vary. Even without eating together, the meat alone was very delicious, so be sure to try it! The mashed potatoes under the sausages were also very tasty! It's a great place in Gion where you can experience a foreign atmosphere!

I went to ONZE, a restaurant that I often see on Instagram because my friend made a reservation. The most delicious dish was the onion gratin soup, which was soft and creamy, making it easy to swallow without chewing. However, the beef steak was very tough, almost to the point where I thought my jaw might dislocate. It was probably imported, and honestly, I didn't find it very tasty, sorry. I was curious about this place because of its good atmosphere, but the taste was just okay for me.

It was so delicious. The atmosphere was really nice, the food was delicious, and it's close to the station, perfect! (Of course, it's not cheap, haha) It's perfect for when you want to treat yourself a little! The meat was juicy, the sausage and potatoes were a perfect match, and the garlic shrimp had a nice salty taste! I want to go again.

Dinner was delicious no matter what we ordered, and the portion size was satisfying. It cost around 8000 yen for two people. The owner seemed to have recently visited Germany (although it may have been a while back). We sat at the counter, so the staff and chefs chatted with us, making it a fun time. The speed at which the dishes were served was impressively fast! The price range was very reasonable, and I would recommend this place for a date to any guys who are unsure where to take their date. The atmosphere, lighting, and mood were all great, so I think bringing a date here would be a sure bet!

I came here based on a friend's recommendation. ✔︎ Beef steak Cafe de Paris style ✔︎ Ahijo with Tokachi brown mushrooms ✔︎ Boiled egg with mayonnaise ✔︎ Spanish ham It's the kind of place where you come to take good photos of the atmosphere rather than the taste of the food. It might be best to use it as a second stop.

I rarely come to this area, but I visited after being recommended. The pate is juicy and the Wiener sausages have the best taste. The wine paired with them is also delicious. I could keep going from daytime! The carrot rapé is the best I've ever had. It's a wonderful place where you can use it as a cafe or a bar. The atmosphere is cozy and I definitely want to go back.

This is a good place for a light meal. The food tastes delicious. However, the menu is limited so it's more of a place for a casual drink. It might not be satisfying for dinner. I'll say it again, the taste is good! The desserts are also great. The selection of drinks, especially wine, is decent. The staff are all friendly. I will definitely go back to this place.

I finally visited the brasserie cafe ONZE that I've always wanted to go to. I arrived about 30 minutes before my reservation time and was able to get a table. There were also many walk-in customers, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. I saw on Instagram that the French onion soup was amazing, so I had to try it. It was indeed delicious. The onions were sweet and tender, and the bread on top was soaked in the soup, making it very tasty. Next, I tried the country-style pate, which was not too salty and easy to eat. I could taste the black pepper flavor very well. For the main course, I ordered the Parisian-style beef steak. The meat was tender, not too fatty, and paired perfectly with the butter served with it. Even though we shared the dishes between two people, we were full after these three dishes. Among the three, the French onion soup was the most delicious. There are other menu items that caught my eye, so I would like to go back and try them again.

I was excited for my first visit in a while! I made a reservation in advance, which was the right decision because it was packed. It was a bit difficult to flag down the staff for additional orders, but it's worth it because the food is delicious! However, during this time of COVID, I think it's not ideal for 3 out of 4 staff members to have their masks completely off while cooking (one was a server). I could see clearly from my seat at the counter.

I was introduced to this restaurant by a famous club owner in Kyoto. I arrived close to closing time, so the staff's service was a bit rushed, but the meat and pate were delicious. The hamburgers are apparently famous, so I'd like to go earlier next time to try them.

I finally visited Onze, a place I had been curious about. It has a casual French bistro atmosphere. What I ordered: country-style pate, fried potatoes, and steak sandwich. The pate was quite hearty and delicious. The fried potatoes were ordinary, thin and crispy. The steak was the most delicious, juicy and chewy. The bread was a large baguette, moist and tasty inside. I also had a mint lemon squash drink, which was surprisingly green but refreshing with a minty flavor. I'll definitely come back!

On my birthday, my dad had made a reservation at an Italian restaurant for lunch, but there was a misunderstanding about the time and we couldn't have lunch there. So, we ended up wandering and finally arrived at Onz. This day, there was no state of emergency declared, so we could drink alcohol from lunchtime onwards. I had:
- CAVA Sparkling Wine (¥600) - Easy to drink, ended up having another glass.
- Marinated Olives (¥300) - I'm not a fan of olives, but after trying them after a few years, I liked them! They were delicious!
- Spanish Ham (¥1000) - The salty flavor was amazing and went well with the drinks.
- 1 piece of Bread (¥100) - This bread! I loved it years ago and still love it now! It's been over 5 years, but I still love this bread!
- Eringi Mushroom Steak with Chimichurri Sauce (¥900) - It was so delicious, I wanted to order more!
- Ahijo with Tokachi Brown Mushrooms (¥900) - The chewy brown mushrooms were excellent, and the seasoning of Ahijo was perfect!
- Beef Steak Cafe de Paris Style (¥1500) - The steak was cooked perfectly, served on a bed of plenty of potatoes.
- Rose Wine (¥800) - Easy to drink and enjoyable.
- Ginger Ale (¥400)
- Homemade Lemonade (¥500) - Ordered by my dad who was driving.
Even after several years, the deliciousness of the food remains the same. The counter seats were still popular as always. I love Cannele, so I got some as a souvenir for my sons. I will definitely go back again!

Good evening. How are you? I'm doing well. I love being at home, but it's difficult not being able to go out at night and find places closed. Now, for my last dinner in Kyoto! A colleague who lives in Kyoto and whom I met when I was treated to high-end sushi in Kyoto previously, recommended a reasonably priced restaurant that was still open during the pandemic. She quickly sent me information about 3 nearby places. We ended up at Brasserie Cafe ONZE, a charming bistro with a Parisian vibe. The atmosphere was cozy and the decorations were tasteful. We enjoyed a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and ordered a country-style pate, a brown mushroom and green salad, and some potato fries. The highlight was the onion gratin soup, which was rich and flavorful. The staff were friendly and the owner shared stories about his time in France. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience in Kyoto.

I visited the first bar for a daytime drink. I had wine and enjoyed some light (although I was quite hungry so I ate a lot haha) food. I had salmon and cream cheese, mushroom salad, mashed potatoes and sausage, and canele. They were all perfect as alcohol snacks. It's a shame I didn't take a picture of the wine... I would like to come back at night as well.

In Kyoto. I had some time before meeting up with friends, so I decided to spend it at this restaurant I wanted to visit. "Brasserie Cafe ONZE" is located in Kiyamachi and offers traditional French cuisine in a casual setting. Inside, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with a diverse range of customers from young people to regulars. I sat at the counter and ordered some white wine and Spanish cured ham, which was perfectly salty and melted in my mouth. The mushroom sautéed in Spanish style (Ajo) was flavorful with a strong garlic taste. The baguette was also delicious. I then tried the onion gratin soup, which was hot and fragrant, and tasted even better than I expected. It was recommended on TV as a place where many French people say the food is better than in France, and I can see why. I added some red wine and enjoyed it all together. The onion gratin soup was incredibly delicious, with a rich blend of sweetness and slight bitterness. I would love to go back with friends to try more dishes. The staff was attentive and the menu had many tempting options. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

Hello, today I visited the restaurant "ONZE" in Kyoto during a little free time. It seems like an old-fashioned place with a nostalgic atmosphere. I ordered the pate, which was delicious. It had a slightly rich flavor that paired well with the alcohol. The variety of drinks was also extensive, and the place had a cool pub-like vibe. I would like to come back and enjoy it leisurely again. Thank you for the meal.

We went to a French restaurant called Brasserie Cafe ONZE with my gym friends today. The restaurant specializes in regional and home-style French cuisine. The atmosphere was lively with mostly young customers. We started with drinks and a toast. It was a friend's birthday party, so everyone except me was drinking sparkling wine. We ordered a variety of dishes, including country-style pate, marinated olives, Niçoise salad, foie gras egg, white wine-braised mushrooms, homemade sausage with aligot, and wagyu steak with wasabi sauce. For dessert, we had apple tart tatin, meringue chantilly, and crème brûlée. The food was delicious and we had a great time trying different French dishes.

I went to the French bistro brasserie cafe "Onz" near the Mont Blanc specialty store Saori in Kiyamachi. We visited on the night of December 31st, New Year's Eve. They are open from January 2nd. The first floor has a bar-like atmosphere where you can enjoy drinks alone or with a group at the counter. The underground seating area has table seats where you can relax and have a conversation. The wooden tables and checkered tablecloths are cute. It feels like a brasserie restaurant in the middle of a French city where you can have a lively time with everyone. They offer wine and a la carte menu items that are easy to eat. Since it was cold, we had hot wine, which was sweet and slightly spicy, making us feel warm. Before our meal, we ordered some snacks to go with the wine. We had the Country-style pate for 900 yen, which was very delicious and came with cucumber pickles. We also ordered some bread pockets for 100 yen to go with the pate. For our main dish, we had the gratin of shrimp and white fish surimi for 1600 yen. It was a gratin with fluffy fish surimi balls inside, covered in a generous amount of shrimp Americaine sauce. It was hot and very delicious. We were very satisfied. There were other tempting dishes and desserts that we wanted to try, so we would like to visit again.
