This is a review of a restaurant where I made my first visit in Nara, after visiting another restaurant and returning home when it was already dark. It felt like a place that was stuck in time, with affordable prices. The salad, "Yuki-jii's lovingly made salad," was plentiful and delicious, priced at 500 yen. The 1500 yen salad at a nearby restaurant called Radinello was not worth it. The steamed chicken with a refreshing jelly-like sauce was tasty and cost 690 yen. I enjoyed the fluffy omelette made with eggs from Uji for 500 yen, as I love eggs. The special meat sauce doria, topped with plenty of cheese, was delicious and priced at 765 yen. For drinks, I had a Rose Hip Sour for 550 yen and a draft beer for under 2000 yen. It was a good find, even though it was a bit hard to locate. Afterward, I went to see fireflies in Nishikasatori, which is known for its Kasatori River Eight Views. There were fewer fireflies than last year, but I still managed to see around 5 or 6 of them.

I had a healthy lunch where I could enjoy the deliciousness of vegetables. Five cute dishes were served on a wooden plate. The tomato's acidity and compote's sweetness created an elegant flavor. The vegetable soup had a gentle taste with a hint of bacon. The marinated burdock had a crunchy texture to enjoy. The salad had crispy vegetables and creamy dressing. The main chicken dish served in a hot skillet was juicy, tender, and had a mild flavor from the salt koji. The 16-grain rice was healthy and delicious. The dessert winter melon compote was delicate and refreshing.

I found a restaurant where I could use the "Safe and Secure Kyoto Dining Support Coupon" on January 14, 2022! They offered their dinner course for lunch. It was great to enjoy delicious vegetables and charcoal-grilled meat. The food was light on salt, had a gentle flavor, and the meat was juicy without being too fatty. The "Namaencore Pepper Paste" added a nice touch and became addictive. I would like to try their lunch menu or a la carte dishes next time! It's reassuring to know that they have a dedicated parking lot (spots 2 and 11) as well!

The cute small dishes of side dishes were all delicious, with the vegetables themselves being sweet and simple seasoning that brought out the flavor of the ingredients. The tofu hamburger served in a skillet was hot and the rich sweetness of the tomato complemented the tofu hamburger beautifully. The sweet potato cake was subtly sweet, with a lemony and tart blueberry yogurt drink that left a refreshing aftertaste. You can choose from several options for the main dish and drink. This hidden gem cafe is located in a residential area off Ujihashi Street shopping district, with a warm and cozy atmosphere from the wood and the lush greenery visible through the windows in the courtyard. The restaurant uses seasonal vegetables from the owner's father's farm and local farmers in Makishima.

During a walk, I discovered a local restaurant that I had never visited before. They offered a lunch buffet for 1000 yen, with options for meat and fried chicken at an additional cost. The meal included white rice, mixed grain rice, curry, vegetable dishes, salad, sweet potatoes, pumpkin gratin, simmered hijiki seaweed, vegetable tempura, stir-fried Chinese cabbage and burdock root, and sesame-flavored vegetables. If you don't choose any options, it's like a vegetarian meal. I had seconds of the curry and left feeling full. It was my first time dining there.

Open appreciation! Limited time lunch buffet (local vegetables side dishes, miso soup, rice, mini curry buffet) for 980 yen. I ate a lot at the buffet, but after finishing, I didn't feel satisfied at all... The vegetables were tasty, but the dishes were not particularly delicious.

The restaurant is a bit hard to find as it is a little off the main street, but the salads were fresh and delicious. They have a parking lot, which was convenient. I would like to visit this restaurant again.

This shop located a little off the main street near JR Uji is loved by girls. The atmosphere is very nice with plenty of greenery visible from the windows. Even before 11:30, there were already customers inside. They only offer a light lunch course. First, there were five types of appetizers. They included a vegetable omelette, sand beans with vegetables, and simmered dried tofu. All bite-sized and cute looking. Then, a leafy green salad. For the main course, you can choose from several options, and I ordered the tofu hamburger. You can also choose between white rice or bamboo shoot rice. I chose the bamboo shoot rice. Lastly, dessert and a drink. That day, it was chiffon cake. The total cost was 1760 yen including tax. The atmosphere is lovely and the flavors are gentle overall. The portion size should be enough for women, but men might find it a bit lacking. Although I did it myself, there was no guidance on where to place my belongings, so the attention to detail may be lacking. Maybe this level of pricing is normal for tourist spots in Kyoto, but I didn't feel like it was a great value for me personally.

I visited for lunch and the bright and pleasant atmosphere made me feel very relaxed. My wife and I shared our main dishes, both of which were delicious. The brown rice was also very tasty. The restaurant is a bit hidden away, so it's quiet and you can relax without any crowds.

At Naka-Uji Hanare, the nico bento has changed its contents under the supervision of a beauty gut planner. The main dish is a large menchi-katsu with cheese inside, which is delicious. The rice is cooked with Uji corn, and there is also ratatouille and pickled vegetables. You can enjoy a variety of local vegetables, which are good for your health and tasty.

If you continue down the narrow road at the back of Nakamura Fujikichi's parking lot, a restaurant suddenly appears. I had to wait a little because I didn't have a reservation for takeout lunch. Inside the restaurant, elderly ladies from the neighborhood (?) were leisurely having lunch.
