This cafe has a nice atmosphere and offers Wi-Fi, making it a great place to relax. The burgers are hearty and satisfying, filling you up. The curry bread has a spicy flavor with a unique taste, so it may be hit or miss for some people. The malasadas are easy to buy at the counter and delicious! I'm curious about the caramel rusk, so I think I'll try it next time.

I finally got to visit the famous Bustost, but their specialty was sold out! Since it was lunchtime, I decided to try the teriyaki hamburger set. It was delicious with a gooey fried egg and plenty of teriyaki sauce on the chicken. I definitely want to come back and try the Bustost another time!

Chocolate Banana Danish for 420 yen and Rum Raisin French for 320 yen. Arrived on Sunday after 2 pm, close by so visited by bicycle. About half of the bread was left, should have come in the morning after all. Many customers, over 80% of seats were taken. Both were delicious. Thank you for the meal.

You can eat the bread purchased at the bakery inside the store. They also have a food menu, making it a good option for lunch. The staff's polite service and smiles are wonderful. I had a cafe latte, which had a strong espresso flavor and a satisfying taste.

I visited the shop on Sunday morning, August 20, 2023, a little after 9 am. It was crowded with tourists. Since it is located on the first floor of a hotel, it seems to be popular among foreign travelers. I purchased a Bacon Epi, a Mini France, and a Croissant. When I got back, I enjoyed them with beer in the morning. The Bacon Epi was consistently delicious. The size of the Mini France was perfect, and I think it was good too. The eat-in menu also includes a variety of options such as coffee, making it a great choice for tourists.

The atmosphere is amazing. It's close to the Imperial Palace so it seems like a great spot for takeout picnics, but the ambiance inside the restaurant is so nice that I want to eat here. The staff is cute and friendly. I can see why it gets crowded on days off.

I had been curious about this restaurant for a while, so I decided to stop by after visiting a grave. The staff was very friendly and despite causing some trouble, they greeted me with a smile. The bread was sweet and delicious, and the salad, scrambled eggs, and sausage were all tasty. I opted for the recommended flat white coffee for an additional 200 yen, and the gentle milk flavor was very soothing. I would love to go back again.

Accompanied by my wife and daughter, we visited "SCHOOL BUS COFFEE BAKERS" for the first time. We rarely go to cafes, so it felt fresh. My daughters confidently placed their orders. I asked for an iced coffee and left the choice of bread to my daughter as I moved to our table. Looking around, I noticed two gentlemen reading documents nearby. It seems this trendy cafe is popular among women. We enjoyed delicious croissants and coffee, and had a pleasant time chatting with my wife and daughter. Thank you for the meal.

Hyatt Centric Hotel's stylish cafe located in front of the station. Considering the atmosphere and location, the prices felt reasonable. They also have a bakery, making it a great option for meals during your travels. I visited around 3:30 pm on a weekday, and the place was about half full. They kindly asked us to reserve a seat before ordering. [Drinks] Iced Latte ¥550 You can choose from 2 types of beans, and I chose the "strong" one. However, I still felt the milk was a bit overpowering. To be honest, it wasn't exactly to my liking. But this place has a really nice vibe. The casual conversation was enjoyable. After talking about how hot it was, I mentioned wanting to use the restroom. They kindly suggested using the hotel's restroom next door since their restroom didn't have a mirror. It felt like they understood I wanted to check myself after sweating. Their non-intrusive hospitality was amazing. I definitely want to become a regular at this place. I will definitely visit again! Thank you for the meal! (*´ω`*)

On the first floor of a hotel in Karasuma Marutamachi, there is a stylish bakery. I got takeout on this day, but the cafe space inside was quite spacious with plenty of seating. There were sofa seats, 2-person tables, and long tables that are convenient for solo customers. The bread selection leans towards hard types, but they also had chocolate berry coronets which were more like soft rolls. There was a toaster in the store for heating up the bread, which might make it even more delicious. I noticed later that there were donuts and other sweets next to the bread display at the entrance, which also looked delicious. Next time, I'll try dining in and tasting them!

Baguette for 160 yen, raisin bread for 320 yen, blend coffee for 500 yen, and cafe latte for 550 yen. I don't really like the blend coffee. After listening to the description of the blend coffee roasted by a Polish shop, I mentioned that I don't like bitterness or acidity, but they still recommended the blend coffee. It had a slightly bitter taste but not too strong. The bread was just delicious. I ordered the baguette, which seems to go well with coffee. Overall, it was good. They also offer a bread-cutting service, which was nice. I tried the regular cafe latte, which was creamy but had a strong espresso bitterness that I didn't like. The bread was tasty, but I didn't enjoy the coffee. If I come back, I'll try a different latte. Thank you for the meal.

Happy Eat-in Bakery Croissant Curry Bread Curry bread is baked type. The curry is slightly spicy and delicious. The croissant is a buttery and moist type, which I like. It's delicious. The price of the bread is a bit high, but considering the use of the cafe, it's probably okay? You can heat it up yourself in a toaster. The flat white coffee portion is small, but tasty. You can relax more at this store. The hard bread (similar to ciabatta) was so-so. On another day, the bread with tomatoes (forgot the name) and malasada (with cane sugar) were both heavenly. The bread similar to focaccia had a flavorful olive oil and various herbs, and the semi-dried tomatoes inside were surprisingly plentiful. The malasada had a good wheat aroma and fine texture. I want to come back for both of them!

I visited for lunch. Cheeseburger for 1400 yen, coffee for 500 yen. The interior is very cute with a nice atmosphere, giving off an American vibe. The cheeseburger was large, but the iced coffee was a bit disappointing because it was small. I also got some items to take home: creme brulee for 250 yen, kouign-amann for 270 yen, curry bread for 350 yen, and teriyaki chicken bucket sandwich for 520 yen. The bucket sandwich was the most delicious.

Located in Kyoto, the popular American-style cafe SchoolBusCoffeeBakers in Marutamachi offers delicious treats such as Masala Donuts and Strawberry Danish. The Masala Donuts are a must-try, especially with the cream filling which adds to the delightful taste. The cream, made of whipped cream and custard, is rich but not too heavy, creating a perfect balance. Both the donuts and cream are light and fluffy, making it easy to finish one in no time. The Strawberry Danish is also a hit, with a crispy pastry and sweet, juicy strawberries. They open from 8:00 am, making it a perfect spot for a morning treat.

I visited this shop that I had been curious about because I had some errands nearby. Since it was Monday, the bakery was closed. So, I couldn't get any bread to go, but I had coffee and sweets (chocolate brownie and cheesecake) instead. Sharing half of each cake was just right. I had already eaten lunch at another place before visiting, so having a whole dessert felt a bit heavy.

I woke up early and went to have breakfast. I had a plate and a drink for a total of 1500 yen (some drinks may cost extra). I tried the School Bus Toast, which is limited to 15 servings per day. It looked cute and the bread was fluffy and crispy, perfect with butter! The salad had plenty of greens like watercress and lettuce, with a refreshing touch of grapefruit. The sausage was crispy and the scrambled eggs were surprisingly high quality (soft and creamy, just how I like it). I can't afford to go every day, but it's a great choice when you want to start your day off right!

- A milk cream-filled Milk France on a hard bread, a fluffy Malasada, and a delicious Flat White. The interior of the cafe, styled like Brooklyn, is lovely and feels like it could become my favorite cafe. ♡

Sightseeing Morning Use Subway Karasuma Line Marutamachi Station Right away! I stayed at a nearby hotel and decided to have a delicious morning meal, so I opened Tabelog and walked a few minutes to this place. It was great. I went around 9 o'clock and there were empty seats. I enjoyed a luxurious morning surrounded by the delicious smell of bread and coffee. They seem to also put emphasis on their coffee. The croissant had many layers and was crispy. If I had to say one thing, the bakery's bread was not reheated even for eat-in (maybe they would have reheated it if I had asked?). Some items might be tastier if reheated and fixed. The school bus-shaped bread, as mentioned in the store name, is cute. The school bus keychain is too cute to be used as a waiting card. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

Kyoto, Marutamachi [SchoolBusCoffeeBakers] ☑️ School bus plate * Limited to 15 meals a day. This is a sister store of #schoolbuscoffeestop in Kitahama, Osaka. I tried the store-limited morning plate at #schoolbuscoffeebakers, which specializes in "bread". The morning plate using school bus-shaped bread is limited to 15 meals a day! I visited around 9 o'clock after the store opened at 8 o'clock, and there were still some left. The bus-shaped bread was much larger than I imagined! The outside was crispy, and the inside was chewy. It was even more delicious when eaten with scrambled eggs and sausages. The drink was the usual flat white, which I love because it has a strong coffee flavor with plenty of espresso. There were also a variety of bread types, so I want to try various takeout options next time.

Hyatt Place's stylish cafe on the first floor. This is my second visit this year, just like my second time in Kyoto, I really like this cafe. I came to have breakfast again, just like last time. Last time, it was a set with toast in the shape of a passport, but this time it was a bagel. It comes with salad, scrambled eggs, and sausage. I ordered a flat white coffee separately. I wait with a numbered bus for the food. Last time, although it was delicious, the food seemed to be left on the counter for a while after being cooked, and it was served after the coffee was finished brewing, so the eggs and toast were cold, which was very disappointing, so this time I asked them to bring the food first when ordering. They seemed a bit surprised for a moment, I wonder if no one has ever said that before? I want to eat a warm meal since I came all this way. This time it was a bit cold, but better than last time. The coffee is still delicious as always. While I was eating, there were also people who came just to buy bread, but it seems that they don't sell bread on Mondays. The music is stylish, and I love the atmosphere - I want to move and work remotely here. Thank you for the meal!
