I usually visit this place at night, but I decided to come for lunch this time. The photos show a sashimi & grilled fish set meal and a daily special set meal. You can choose from various types of grilled fish. Both sets come with sashimi, but the contents are different. Also, if it's not too crowded during lunchtime, you can also order a la carte dishes from the izakaya menu.

I was able to enjoy comparing the taste of Hokkaido oysters and oyster fry from Mieura Village, and truly feel the essence of oysters. The chef was friendly, and the staff were cheerful. It seemed like there were regular customers who frequented the place. I had a great time. It was a fun restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

Around 11 pm, I wandered over here feeling a bit tipsy. I originally wanted to arrive earlier and enjoy Kyoto's nightlife, but it was impossible. Despite being quite far from my accommodation, I managed to walk here with the help of directions I received. It seems like there is a party going on at the restaurant, but the tables are spread out so it's not too noisy. I was seated at a table while there was only one person at the counter. I was told that if I registered my email address, I would receive a special service, so I did it, even though I struggled a bit and ended up handwriting it. I ordered sashimi and a highball, both of which were delicious. The sashimi was especially tasty. I quickly finished my highball and moved on to sake. Oh! They have Midorikawa from Niigata in Kyoto. I'm not sure if it's junmai, but I'll give it a try. It was delicious, with the distinctive taste of Midorikawa. I tried teasing the lovely waitress by asking if she knew where Midorikawa sake is from, but she managed to evade the question. The sashimi was delicious, and the staff had a friendly, family-like vibe, making it an enjoyable dining experience. Thank you for the meal.

Late at night, even after midnight, the restaurant is still energetically open, which I appreciate! After a toast, I stared at the recommended menu. Today's recommendation is the sweet shrimp sashimi. The sweet shrimp is so sweet! It's so sweet that it's called "sweet" shrimp! The miso has no bitterness at all, and I couldn't help but finish it all. The grilled chrysanthemum greens with sansho pepper is so stimulating that it's almost electrifying! It's packed with enough flavor for even those who love sansho pepper. The thinly sliced onions underneath the chrysanthemum greens are cooked to perfection and sweet. The familiar beef sirloin steak is always satisfying! I'll have it with grated ponzu sauce. It's a generous portion and delicious! It would be even better if there were other sauces besides ponzu! I couldn't even make it to the pizza because I was so full. Thank you as always. Thank you!

Today, I gave in to the temptation of the signboard and started with a toast with beer! The first drink after work is always special and delicious! I started with the appetizer, which was the recommended dish for today. I had tried it before, but the salt-grilled saury and plum meat wrapped in chicken breast was a new twist! Instead of the usual breadcrumbs, they used spring roll wrappers to make it crispy! The seasoning was a bit strong, making it perfect for enjoying with beer! It was delicious and a nice idea. Next, I had some pork shabu-shabu with plenty of vegetables. The pork was sweet and tasty, and I enjoyed it with a refreshing ponzu sauce. There were many types of condiments, so I didn't get tired of the taste until the end. Personally, I recommend trying it with yuzu pepper! The broth had a great flavor at the end, so I thought it would be delicious as a porridge. However, it's already late at night, so I have to resist. The other day, I visited the local yakitori shop again. It was crowded even though it was late! It's already so cold, after the scorching heat we had recently. What's happening, Japan! Cheers with beer to start off, because beer is a must. Roasted ginkgo nuts are recommended, although many people don't like them, I love them! I enjoy peeling them myself. But after getting drunk, I want someone else to peel them for me. Grilled saury, as autumn comes to an end, the season for saury is also ending. You have to eat it before it's too late, it's delicious with all the fat. By the way, when I was young, I always used to pour soy sauce over it, but recently I stopped doing that. Yeah, health comes first!! Oden assortment to warm up - it was a shame that there was no egg in it, but the lineup was quite good. I've heard that oden varies depending on the region, but Kyoto's oden is delicious with a strong kombu and bonito dashi flavor! Finish off with tomato and cheese pizza! Thin crust with plenty of cheese, tomato, and basil - you can't leave without eating this! Yummy yummy. Sorry for always coming late! Thank you!

The final stop of the drinking spree. After visiting several places and feeling a bit tipsy...I end the night by getting energized by the lively owner and staff at this place!! Cheers with a highball! Starting with the potato salad appetizer, which is homemade and delicious! A place that serves tasty appetizers is always reliable and promising. The recommended menu here is really good. The grilled dried fish is fragrant and tasty. A bit overcooked and the tail end is too hard though! Oyster fry, a classic dish that I always order. Large oysters with creamy tartar sauce, all homemade and delicious. And it's cheap too! Only 580 yen!! It was a bit cold, so I asked if they could make hot tofu even though it wasn't on the menu, and they gladly said yes! Thank you so much for accommodating my request. The hot tofu came with plenty of ingredients like Chinese cabbage, scallions, fried tofu, and mizuna, very satisfying♪ Usually, I end with pizza but this time I was craving something sweet, so I went for the caramel honey toast (half size). The menu changes daily, so we chose from the recommended dishes. This time, many items were sold out due to our late arrival, a sign of a popular restaurant. We ordered a sashimi platter for a discounted price as members, which was fresh and delicious. The grilled chicken steak was another favorite of ours, always tender and flavorful. It's served on a hot plate, so you need to eat it quickly before it overcooks. We also enjoyed some shochu highballs and dishes like foil-grilled fish and mapo tofu. It's the Emperor's birthday. I switched into the mode of going to an izakaya at night and headed to Senbon Nakadachiuri. Initially, I tried to go to the renowned old shop, Jinba, but unfortunately it was full. So, I went to the neighboring Yotteko-ya instead. I was in the mood to splurge today, so I ordered sashimi of both fish and chicken. The chicken sashimi was incredibly delicious. I only drank sake, but they had a wide variety to choose from. This izakaya is a place that should be used more often as it is versatile.

I used it for a gathering of moms ☆ There is a spacious tatami room in the back. It's a banquet course menu, but the dishes are quite good ☆ The sashimi is delicious with a careful touch not typical of an izakaya, and the presentation is beautiful ☆ As everyone's reviews say, the French toast that comes out later is a dessert with plenty of honey and very satisfying ☆ One thing that caught my attention is that when you hang your coat on the wall, it hits your head so you can't hang it up - you don't need a hook for this. Anyway, it's a cozy and welcoming place where you feel comfortable and want to become a regular customer in the neighborhood ☆

I went out for drinks with a friend and we stumbled upon this place while walking around. It was lively with people ranging from office workers to students, even on a weeknight. The tables and tatami seating were spacious and comfortable. They had a wide variety of drinks to choose from and the food options were also great, with recommended dishes available. The presentation of the dishes was meticulous and the hamburger I tried was surprisingly delicious. I had planned on just having a few drinks, but the friendly staff made the atmosphere so enjoyable that I ended up drinking too much. If I come back next time, I would like to explore more of their food options.
