I went for lunch on a regular day. It's a specialty shop for fried chicken, offering various types of frying methods and seasonings. There are two main types of seasonings, but they also have a mixed set meal option, which is available for takeout as well. It can get crowded, so it may take some time. When my set meal arrived, it included rice, miso soup, a side dish, salad, and mixed fried chicken. The fried chicken had a noticeable sweet and light taste. I recommend the mixed set meal as having the same flavor can get boring.

Recently, I discovered a bento shop that I'm completely hooked on! Today's bento had fried chicken topped with chives. The aroma of chives was appetizing and it was incredibly delicious! I also tried the crispy fried chicken with a sandy texture - also very delicious! I've found another irresistible item to crave!

After visiting Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, I finally went to a shop that I had been interested in for a while! The friendly lady fried them deliciously for me! I preferred the sweet sauce! It's in the neighborhood, so I will definitely go back! I feel like I could eat as many as I want!

There is a counter seat inside the store, and you can also take out food. I was lured by the scent flowing outside the store and decided to have dinner there. I ordered a set meal, and the fried chicken was juicy and plentiful! It was very delicious. As a woman, I would be even happier if the salad options were more abundant. During the meal, I noticed that the local grandmas came for takeout and middle school students greeted each other, making me feel that this is a shop loved by the community.

In times like these, I decided to get some takeout from here♪ Whenever I see the word "karaage" lately, I find myself heading over there (lol). This place offers both Oita-style karaage and regular karaage, with the option to dine in or enjoy some drinks as well. I decided to try both, and I must say, the Oita-style karaage is incredibly delicious! I'm usually not a fan of sweet karaage, but this one was different – not too sweet and very satisfying. It's quite hearty and you have to really bite into it, but that kind of boldness is enjoyable. It's filling and definitely recommended! v

The Oita-style fried chicken is really delicious. The mixed set meal comes with two large pieces of fried chicken and various vegetables. Instead of miso soup, somen noodles are served. Is it a summer limited menu?

I love Oita Karaage specialty store, Oita Karaage! The garlic soy sauce-based coating and sweet and spicy sauce are a perfect match! Each piece of karaage is large and satisfying to eat. I often order the mixed bento, which is also highly recommended! When it comes to a bowl, it's a bit heavy and can be difficult to finish. So, for those trying it for the first time, I highly recommend the mixed bento!

On Christmas, I got tired of just eating momo teriyaki, so I decided to try out Sanwatori, a place I had been curious about in the neighborhood. I got some plain fried chicken to go. The coating was crispy, the seasoning was strong, and it seemed like a perfect match for beer.

I had been curious about this shop that I had passed by a few times before. This time, I was nearby during lunchtime, so I decided to try their takeout. I ordered 4 pieces of Three-Winged Karaage for 400 yen, 4 pieces of Three-Winged Karaage with tartar sauce for 450 yen, and Chicken Skin Gyoza for 400 yen. The food was ready in less than 10 minutes. The Three-Winged Karaage is marinated for 24 hours in 10 types of spices and original garlic soy sauce. It was larger than I expected and very filling. The homemade tartar sauce was delicious and easy to eat. The Gyoza was perfect as a snack, and we reheated it in the toaster later that night. This shop is convenient and I would like to visit again if I have the chance.
