It's a photo of the "Atama no Oomori" beef bowl. At the end of last year, I suddenly felt like eating Yoshinoya's beef bowl, so I went to the Enmachi store and ordered the Atama no Oomori without knowing the menu. The beef bowl that came out was just as I imagined! The bowl was filled with meat without any gaps. The Atama (beef) large portion for 380 yen had a satisfying amount of beef, providing a hearty meal. If I can get the satisfaction of a regular beef bowl by adding 100 yen for the Atama no Oomori, it seems like it will become my go-to choice in the future. Reflecting on the satisfaction of the beef bowl... This time, I visited the Yoshinoya Enmachi store, which I remember opened about 35 years ago in 1979. When I looked up the price of a regular beef bowl at that time, it was 350 yen. However, I think that the regular beef bowl back then was not as sparse in meat as the current regular beef bowl, and the bowl was filled with meat. Remembering this, even the regular beef bowl back then was satisfying enough, just like the Atama no Oomori I had this time. From that perspective, if we consider the Atama no Oomori as the regular beef bowl of the past, it means that the price of the regular beef bowl increased by 30 yen in 35 years. (By the way, when I was a student and ate it with my pocket money, it was 370 yen in 1985, so from that time, it only increased by 10 yen!) This makes me feel satisfied with the increase, even considering the social situation, and it even shows the efforts of the company. When I think about it this way, the Atama no Oomori could be considered as the "regular" for me, and then the Tokumori would be the "large," right? But the Tokumori is a bit too heavy in terms of quantity and I can't eat it. In that case, what is the current regular...? Wasn't the current regular 280 yen? The price is cheap, but it feels like "meat sprinkled on top" rather than actually eating meat. From my perspective, the current regular beef bowl feels like "fake beef bowl, regular." However, since customers come seeking this every day, it's not good to underestimate it. Well, for me, the revival of the Yoshinoya-style beef bowl is something to be happy about! Maybe the Atama no Oomori is my regular from now on, allowing me to enjoy Yoshinoya moderately. Just a silly analysis and rambling... Please take it as a reference only. ===========
