Tonight, there was a craft beer festival on Ujihashi Street and it was quite crowded, so I decided to escape the hustle and bustle and visit the restaurant called "Miyakodori" (^_^) I had been wanting to visit this place for lunch, so it was a good opportunity. Although I had been enjoying craft beers at the festival, my friend wanted to go to a place where we could sit indoors and have a leisurely meal because it was hot outside. We walked to the restaurant and luckily found seats at the counter amidst the 80% full restaurant. I left the ordering to my friend, and we had dishes like chilled tofu, shrimp and avocado with wasabi mayonnaise, assorted sashimi, rolled omelette, seafood bowl, Oita's famous toriten (chicken tempura), and for drinks, we had Hatsugoromo and Yukinoyakata Junmai Ginjo served cold. The food was delicious, well-portioned, and reasonably priced. The sake selection was also great and suited my taste. It felt like a restaurant loved by locals and regulars. I think it's a good choice for dining around Uji Station. I would like to try their lunch menu sometime.

The sashimi, seafood rolls, everything was delicious. It feels like a cozy place for regulars at the counter, but also welcoming for tourist mother-daughter duos. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice, with a Kyoto-like feel. The owner is very friendly and easy to talk to.

The owner was very friendly and the atmosphere of the shop was very nice, typical of Kyoto. The food was delicious. Each room is a private room, spacious and relaxing. Even tourists should not hesitate to enter. The three types of side dishes and sashimi were so delicious that I ended up ordering shochu without thinking. The service at the counter is a bit inexperienced.

This sushi restaurant used to be a traditional sushi place, and has been in business since last April. I visited for the first time and found a menu with a variety of dishes, from sashimi to sweet and sour pork. The appetizer was simmered dish, followed by a sashimi platter, simmered eggplant, salmon Caesar salad, fried wheat gluten, and deep-fried oysters. They also have a selection of Japanese sake, with a focus on brands from Yamagata, Niigata, and Toyama. The prices are on the higher side, with most items around 500 yen each, making it accessible for local customers.

I suddenly decided to go to Uji and stayed at a business hotel near JR Uji Station, so I had dinner outside. I looked at the restaurant pamphlet given by the hotel and decided to have dinner at Misu, which is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. It's more like a creative Japanese izakaya than a sushi restaurant, a casual place to drink and eat. The delicious dishes, meticulously prepared and beautifully presented, made me happy. And of course, the taste was delicious too! I chose from today's recommended menu, which included braised pork, boiled vegetables, sashimi, etc., making it hard to stop drinking. I tried Eikun's junmai sake tonight. I forgot to take a picture of the sushi at the end, but it was delicious too. I enjoyed the friendly conversation with the young chef. Satisfied with both the price and the taste! I enjoyed it very much.

Located near JR Uji Station, "Tsukasa" offers a seafood bowl for 1100 yen including tax. The bowl is generously topped with yellowtail, tuna, red sea bream, and salmon. It comes with a red miso soup that is rich in fish flavor, and a side dish. Today's side dish is stir-fried red bell peppers with miso and meat. There is plenty of rice in the bowl, so I mixed it in and enjoyed it in a Chinese-style. I am satisfied and full.

I visited the delicious restaurant called Tsukasa for lunch. It is located next to popular restaurants Swan and Washoku Dining Chouji. I chose the sashimi and side dish set meal for 1200 yen (excluding tax). The meal came with side dishes such as mackerel miso, pork belly daikon, and marinated small fish, all of which were well-seasoned and made the rice very enjoyable. I ended up getting a second helping.
