When it comes to fried chicken, I prefer KFC. It's a fast food chain that needs no introduction, but here they don't have seating, just a statue of Colonel Sanders. Right now, he's dressed as Santa. I ordered the Red Hot Chicken Lovers and strangely had to wait a long time even though it wasn't busy. Not sure why, since they don't make it to order. But somehow, you can now earn Ponta points at KFC. That's a nice surprise.

Once again, I had some business to attend to at Daigo Al Plaza. As I passed by Kentucky, a photo caught my attention! It was the "Super Meat Lovers Sandwich! Chicken Filet Double." Just the name alone doesn't give away what makes it super meaty, right? Normally, burgers have various fillings between two buns, but in this case, the buns are replaced with Kentucky's chicken! It's meat on meat with bacon and cheese sandwiched in between! I was impressed by this unique idea. I couldn't help but wonder, what about the bones, which are synonymous with Kentucky? When I asked the staff, they said it's "boneless meat." It costs 450 yen as a single item, or 500 yen as a drink set, so I opted for the set without hesitation. I unwrapped it and took a bite... Huh? It's not as big as in the photo. In the picture, it looks like you can just about hold it with one hand. Well, most burger photos tend to be exaggerated, so it's not a big deal. As for the taste, you can probably imagine it - it's the classic Kentucky flavor, and the bacon and cheese in between are not bad. Surprisingly, it was easier to eat than those burgers where the filling falls out everywhere. I'm not singing its praises, but I was impressed by this idea of "sandwiching meat with meat."
