Before the coronavirus, I had been invited to this restaurant several times but couldn't make it due to timing. Finally, I was able to visit this time. Regular customers recommend the Ueno branch more than the Okachimachi branch. The restaurant is located in a mixed-use building with clubs and snacks, and the interior is clean, possibly a former club or something. In the middle of the table seating, there is a charcoal grill with a powerful exhaust fan (adjustable up and down). The exhaust fan is strong, so there is little smell in the restaurant despite it being a charcoal grill! Looking at the menu, the meat is served in chunks for 2-3 people, so we ordered an even bigger size due to the large number of people. The appetizers while waiting for the meat to cook are a must-order. The lamb meat was brought out first and it was a surprising chunk! It looks like it's over 3kg for sure. When they started grilling it, a staff member came to cut it because the chunk was too big and far from the fire, it would take forever to cook without cutting it. - Ordered Items: Lamb back grill (large for 3-4 people) 5590 yen, Whole rabbit grill (3-4 people) 5590 yen, Dried tofu salad 890 yen, Warabi flour noodle spicy dressing 1090 yen, Homemade lamb pie (1 piece) 550 yen - Taste: The lamb back grill, when cut, turned into large lamb chops, the meat was fresh with no odor, juicy, and delicious. Sprinkling the provided spices on it made it even more delicious. The whole rabbit grill had fresh meat with almost no odor, and it was delicious. The meat had a chewy texture, somewhat like chicken, with a bony feel, which can be a matter of preference. I preferred the lamb. The dried tofu salad had a delicious umami flavor and was refreshing. The Warabi flour noodle spicy dressing had chewy noodles and a delicious sweet and sour sauce, perfect for refreshing the palate. The homemade lamb pie had plenty of meat juice and spices, making it delicious. - Evaluation: The meat was fresh with no odor, juicy, and delicious, grilled in chunks. All the dishes other than the meat were also delicious. The prices were a bit high, and the wine selection was not great, which led to a deduction in the drink category. Clean interior for a charcoal grill restaurant, atmosphere +0.1. Charcoal grill specialty restaurant, overall rating +0.1.

Located in Donki Soba in Yushima, "Kiyoromon." Visited on a Sunday afternoon. The interior seems new and clean. The bone-in lamb meat was surprisingly dynamic and made a huge impact. This will definitely look great in photos. Recommended for large groups! <Note> As of today, 3.54

Authentic Chinese cuisine. The atmosphere is quite unusual with mostly Chinese customers, making you wonder if you're really in Japan. The loud customers make it hard to get the attention of the staff. The staff, who are likely Chinese, can communicate if you speak slowly and politely. The food is delicious, and even after drinking quite a bit, the bill for six people was around 36,000 yen, so the cost performance is decent. The overall rating is slightly lower due to the other customers, but it's still a good place to eat.

I was impressed by how the shop managed to handle a lot of customers with few staff. The atmosphere is quite lively, so it may not be suitable for a quiet conversation. The exhaust fan is right in front of you, so you can't see the faces of people sitting diagonally across from you! (laughs) My Chinese friend took me there, and we ate a lot of lamb. It might be fun to go with about 4 people. It was very delicious.

This is a restaurant located in a building at the entrance of Naka-cho Street in Ueno. They serve whole roasted lamb with an authentic Chinese atmosphere, and the restaurant is bustling with many Chinese customers. The lamb is first roasted whole as a performance, then taken to the kitchen and sliced into bite-sized pieces. The meat is tender and flavorful without any gamey taste, and it was very delicious. I also enjoyed the stir-fried sour cabbage and pork dish, which was also very tasty. It's a place that you need a large group to fully enjoy, but I would definitely like to visit again.

You can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine here. The sweet and spicy sauce used in the dishes is delicious, and you can also enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine. In addition to lamb, there are various other types of meat for grilling. We chose a small lamb back that can be shared by two people. The grilled lamb meat was amazing! The spicy powder to eat with this meat was also excellent! The portions are quite large, so it is recommended to go with four people. We found this interesting restaurant! - Beef tendon and honeycomb tripe in spicy sauce 1290 yen - Stir-fried eggplant and green beans in umami sauce - Grilled lamb back 4490 yen - Fried rice with meat in spicy sauce was also delicious. The sweet and spicy broth is indescribably delicious. The peanuts go really well with the spiciness! The eggplant and green bean stir-fry is a dish commonly found in Chinese cuisine. The portion size is amazing, with plenty of vegetables! The grilled lamb was outstanding, and when we couldn't finish it, they kindly allowed us to take it home! They even included the spices! It's a kind restaurant. I wonder if I can grill it at home?

I want to eat this lamb dish at least once every 1-2 months. Whenever I go on a business trip to Tokyo, I always visit this place. It's only my fourth time, but anyone I bring here is always delighted. The chunks of lamb meat being grilled make for great photos! However, unlike typical Instagrammable restaurants, the taste here is superb. The side dishes other than lamb meat are also delicious, so I highly recommend them.

As a fan of lamb, I had been wanting to visit this restaurant. Even though it was before opening time, they let me in as soon as I got off the elevator. The interior was beautiful, with all table seating and a slightly upscale feel. The lunch menu no longer had the iron plate lamb, so I ordered the cumin stir-fry and hot pot. Both dishes were quite filling and satisfying. They both had a lot of garlic, but it didn't leave any strong smell. I was happy to see that they serve lunch even on Sundays at this location, and the prices were reasonable.

Located quite close to Yushima Station, this Chinese restaurant is easy to find as it is on the 4th floor of a building with JOYSOUND written prominently. The interior has many table seats, giving the impression that it is popular among families and groups of friends. Only three menu items are written in Chinese, with the rest priced around 800 yen, making it easy to choose one of the three lamb dishes for lunch. I ordered the Lamb and Cumin Stir-fry (1100 yen), which had a unique flavor due to the lamb, making it a bit challenging for those who are not fans of lamb. However, the good texture and generous portion of the lamb were excellent. As for the cumin stir-fry, it had a nice kick when combined with the lamb, resembling the taste of eating it with chili oil. Personally, I found the seasoning to be to my liking.

A Chinese restaurant located on the 4th floor of a building near Ueno Okachimachi Station. Seeing a reservation mark on the map made me curious, so I decided to go even though it was 1:30 pm. As I approached the entrance of the restaurant on the 4th floor, I could see through the glass that it was clearly crowded. I thought it might be impossible, but when I asked, they let me in saying it was okay even though the seats were narrow. Looking at the menu, lamb dishes were listed at the top. When I asked for recommendations, they suggested No. 1 and No. 2 (both lamb dishes), so I ordered the lamb with cumin stir-fry (No. 2). I chose oolong tea as my complimentary drink from options including orange juice and coffee. The food arrived fairly quickly. It had a very nice authentic aroma with spices including cumin and the fragrance of coriander. This flavor profile would be irresistible to those who like it. The lamb was tender, with just the right amount of fat, and delicious. Most dishes were priced at 800 yen, while lamb dishes ranged from 1100 to 1300 yen. Considering the quality, it's quite a good deal. By the way, lunch payment is cash only.

The 2-hour all-you-can-drink course for 5800 yen was great for celebrating our company's anniversary with colleagues. The course included a whole leg of lamb roast, which was initially overwhelming. However, the staff helped by cutting and grilling the meat for us. We ended up taking most of the remaining meat home, which was a bit disappointing. But then, they brought out a huge plate piled high with finely chopped leftover meat, which was a pleasant surprise. The lamb meat had little gaminess and was delicious, and the alcohol flowed freely. The restaurant is clean, and the food is tasty, making it a great value for the all-you-can-drink course. I occasionally visit, but I highly recommend their Genghis Khan lunch.

Rabbit meat has a firm texture, but the seasoning is too spicy. The lamb pie costs 550 yen for one piece, but you have to order a minimum of two pieces. The pie comes cut in half, so the four pieces in the photo are equivalent to two pieces. The meat or oil feels greasy, and the taste of lamb is faint. The soup dish is like a stew with lamb, bean sprouts, pickled vegetables, and coriander, with a mysterious taste. It's not particularly delicious, but it might be good for your health.

End-of-year lunch walk from Ueno to Yushima, the weather is nice and warm, making it a pleasant stroll. As lunchtime approaches, we start feeling hungry and decide to look for a restaurant. We check on Tabelog and find a Chinese restaurant that serves lamb, which is a favorite of ours. Located between Yushima Station and Ueno-hirokoji Station, "Kiyomon Okachimachi Honten" is on the 4th floor of a building. The spacious interior with large tables has 10 table seats. When we visited just after 12:30, there was only one other group of customers, but by 1 pm, it was almost full. We settle at a table in the back and look at the menu. The regular menu offers a variety of lamb dishes, including unusual offal options. We notice rare items like rabbit, frog, and silkworm, but they also have a solid lineup of typical Chinese dishes. Just to be safe, we check the lunch menu, which has 12 options. There are also three lamb dishes available. We decide to order two dishes to share: - Lamb Teppanyaki (1300 yen): The sizzling hot iron plate arrives with a pleasing sizzle. The 300g lamb sirloin steak is generously portioned. We first pour the sauce over it, and a fragrant aroma fills the air. The lamb is cooked just right, with a good texture and a delicious flavor. The red powder spice served with the teppanyaki is excellent, with a mild spiciness and hints of cumin and sesame that complement the lamb well. Perfect with a beer! - Seafood Yakisoba (800 yen): A substantial portion of yakisoba with a chewy texture, well-cooked noodles, and a savory, peppery flavor. The dish is loaded with various ingredients like shrimp, squid, scallops, bamboo shoots, carrots, komatsuna, Chinese cabbage, leeks, wood ear mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, and shimeji mushrooms. It's satisfying and can also serve as a great snack. The majority of customers seem to be of Chinese descent, and groups of four or more are mostly ordering the lamb chunks. We definitely want to try that next time! Thank you for the meal.

I have been to other restaurants, but this time I went to a Chinese restaurant for a year-end party where they serve grilled lamb back and whole roasted rabbit. I opted for the 5500 yen lamb course again. The Ueno branch used to be a hostess club, so it's oddly glamorous and beautiful. 90% of the customers are Chinese, all looking for authentic Chinese cuisine. The dishes were slightly different from before, but the lamb and all-you-can-drink option remained the same. We toasted with nostalgic Malt's beer and enjoyed some snacks. The spicy dishes from the northern region paired well with the beer. The lamb fried rice and dumplings were delicious. I'll definitely come back with four people to enjoy the lamb again.

I used it for a tired party. Various authentic dishes are provided. The whole lamb leg roast is a signature dish. The meat is tender and delicious. The appearance is also amazing. It takes quite a long time to cook without cutting it... And, the price is a bit high after all.

Recently, there is a growing authentic Chinese restaurant in Ueno where you can enjoy Monster Hunter with lamb meat. There are hardly any Japanese customers, so it's reassuring to go with someone from China, haha. The taste is full of local flavors and delicious, providing a fun experience. The lamb meat in the photo is quite large, so it's suitable to share with about 6 people... it was a bit too much for 4 people.

- Visited for the first time on the recommendation of a senior. - Ordered the whole roasted lamb foot. I was a little unsure if I could eat it since I had just had yakiniku, but surprisingly, it was quite delicious, perhaps due to the healthy nature of lamb meat. - The moderate aroma reminded me of the whole roasted lamb I had in Inner Mongolia. - The seating was spacious and comfortable, the prices were reasonable, and the drink menu was extensive. Highly recommended for those familiar with Chinese cuisine and looking for a lively atmosphere!

I received a call from my senior (大哥) saying he found a place in Ueno where you can enjoy delicious lamb. Lately, my weight and blood pressure have been on the rise, so I decided to go jogging to try and get back in shape (or at least pretend to). I eagerly set out for the restaurant, excited at the prospect of a course meal with all-you-can-drink option for 1,800 yen. With the calculation that three draft beers at 550 yen each would almost break even, I opted for the more affordable "喜 Course" priced at 3,200 yen, with plans to add more if needed. Suddenly, a bright red charcoal grill appeared, followed by a massive piece of lamb back meat that seemed to weigh around 2 kilograms. I initially thought I would be grilling it myself, but it was quickly taken away to the kitchen. Apparently, it was a performance for social media, but it got me really excited. When the meat returned, it had been expertly deboned and cut into bite-sized pieces, which I then grilled over the charcoal. The meat was slightly tough with some fat, but when seasoned with chili powder, rock salt, cumin, and lamb fat, my inner Mongolian meat-eater was unleashed, and I couldn't stop eating. My chopsticks and beer glass were in a frenzy, and before I knew it, I had surpassed the break-even line and moved on to highballs and Baijiu. And so, a long night of revelry began, with the first dish of back meat leaving me completely satisfied and unable to properly review the subsequent dishes. It took me two days to recover from the hangover, but I'm still savoring the lingering satisfaction. Thank you for the feast (my senior recommended the restaurant and treated me, so my objectivity may be lacking, but even taking that into account, I would love to go back for their lamb meat).

Located on the fourth floor of a dining building that seems like it could house high-end shops on Haruhi Street. Despite being a well-known restaurant, it was only about half full. Most items on the lunch menu were around 800 yen, except for the lamb dish which was over 1000 yen. I decided to order the seafood yakisoba for 800 yen, which came with a complimentary oolong tea. The food arrived fairly quickly. The seasoning was light with a salty flavor, and it was quite delicious with shrimp, squid, scallops, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, carrots, and mushrooms. It didn't have the typical greasiness you find in similar dishes, which made it quite enjoyable. Usually, this type of dish is served with a thick sauce, but the stir-fried noodles were a pleasant surprise. I look forward to trying their classic dishes like mapo tofu, shredded pork with green peppers, and twice-cooked pork next time.

May 1st. Rainy day. Went to work. Around lunchtime, I decided to eat something delicious and came to a fancy building with Seryna on the first floor. This Chinese restaurant is on the 4th floor of the building. It looks nice and has a lounge-like atmosphere. The Chinese lady serving us seemed a bit cold in her manner but was very beautiful. I ordered the Lamb and Cumin Stir-Fry for 1,100 yen (tax included). There was also Australian lamb and teppanyaki on the menu, but I was curious about how the cumin would taste, so I chose the cumin stir-fry. The Japanese translation on the menu might be a bit off. It should be "Lamb with cumin" instead of "Lamb and cumin" and "Australia" instead of "Ostralia". I was really hungry today, and the wait felt long. Finally, the dish arrived. It was a generous portion and looked delicious. It had a spicy kick, and the cumin flavor was intriguing. The dish was full of Chinese spices, with a hint of star anise and coriander, making it very tasty. It wasn't overly spicy or curry-like, and the lamb had a creamy taste without any gaminess. The meat was tender, and for this price, it was a great deal. The dish had a unique and addictive flavor, and I would definitely come back. It felt a bit more upscale than your average Chinese restaurant, which was nice. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.
