First time visiting. It was Friday night and all the booths were full, so we sat at the counter. Unfortunately, the order took a long time to arrive. I wish the service was a bit faster. The flavors were strong, especially the yam was a bit too intense. The green onion pancake was the most delicious. The modern pancake had too much flour. It's convenient being close to the station. Thank you for the meal ♡

This Mitotei restaurant that I often use nearby. The pattern is always from Mitotei Special to Tororo Yaki, Garlic Maruage, Chicken Skin Salt Grilled Cheese Bacon Ball. There are two types of sauces, normal and spicy, and they provide a sense of security by offering deliciously simple okonomiyaki rather than extravagant okonomiyaki. The friendly master always provides polite service. It's the best okonomiyaki restaurant in the Kokura area. Thank you for the meal! I will visit again.

In a word... the okonomiyaki was incredibly delicious. I prefer a fluffy and soft okonomiyaki, and this place nailed it. I also ordered some side dishes, and each dish was carefully made, giving off a wonderful vibe. The atmosphere might be a bit dim, making it a bit intimidating for solo diners, but once you go, you'll feel comfortable dining alone. The yakisoba was typical but tasted better when left to sit for a bit. They also have an original dish called "Tororo Mix Yaki" which was quite filling and tasty, especially for those who love yam and seafood. They offer a complimentary soft drink during lunchtime, which was a nice touch. I definitely want to go back!

First of all, the appearance of the store was welcoming, with a tapestry outside displaying the recommended menu items with images, so we felt reassured to enter. We visited during lunchtime and the air conditioning was working well, making it a comfortable experience for a summer okonomiyaki restaurant. Unfortunately, besides us, there were no other guests at that time. A staff member (probably the manager) came out from behind the counter to take our order. They were quiet but had a pleasant demeanor. We were informed that on weekdays, one soft drink is complimentary. I chose oolong tea, which was served in a large glass, satisfyingly so. We ordered the "Konomitei dashi roll", "Tororo mix yaki", "Butatama", and "Mix yakisoba". The most memorable dish was the "Tororo mix yaki". It arrived on a 15-centimeter iron plate with a generous serving of bonito flakes and shredded seaweed on top. In the center, there was a raw egg, and we were instructed to mix it well with a spoon before eating. As we mixed it, shrimp, squid, pork, and more came pouring out, which was surprising! The dish was light and fluffy, with a delicious broth. It was priced at 780 yen or more per plate, offering good value. The okonomiyaki was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with a gentle and delicious flavor. The only downsides were the lack of a parking lot and some areas inside the restaurant being slightly dark and dirty.

This is a shop located about a 2-minute walk from the east exit of Kintetsu Ogura Station. I was turned away twice in the past due to it being full, but this time I finally got in, so here is my review. I sat at the counter and ordered a green apple chu-hi sour. For food, I requested the pork dumplings. The background music playing was "Matsu wa" by Aming, which brought back memories of my youth. As I listened nostalgically, the owner kindly spoke to me. Although I responded casually at that time, he also engaged with other customers. The restaurant was almost full, yet the owner was aware of each customer's situation. Perhaps it's his personality, but he also pays attention to the presentation of the dishes. This time, I visited to satisfy a small hunger, but next time, I plan to try the a la carte menu.

I pass by this restaurant almost every day, so I had been wanting to visit it someday. A few months ago, I finally took my husband and son there, and we all enjoyed the food. The okonomiyaki in particular was delicious. We also tried other teppanyaki dishes like local chicken and beef tendon, and they were all quite good. I have yet to try the hormone dish as it is often sold out. However, the individual menu items are a bit pricey when considering the portion size compared to the standard okonomiyaki and yakisoba dishes. The alcohol menu only offers one type of sake, both cold and at room temperature. Despite the stereotype that you shouldn't order sake at an okonomiyaki restaurant, I can't help but want to try everything because it's all so tasty. I noticed that there are a lot of male customers dining alone during early hours, possibly because of the set meal options centered around okonomiyaki and yakisoba. They also offer takeout, which is convenient for housewives. Maybe I can pretend to cook it at home during the upcoming hot summer? It might be a bit sneaky, but it's worth considering.

I tried takeout for the first time. The portion was generous and the taste was very delicious. The friendly chef and the old-fashioned atmosphere of the restaurant made it easy to feel at home. I will definitely be a repeat customer! Thank you for the meal.
