I revisited in August 2016 and the wonderful old man seemed too busy with the farm and meals that he hurt his back, but he seems to be getting better now, which is a relief. This time, I had brown rice pasta! It was chewy and different from regular pasta. I've had gluten-free pasta elsewhere, but it was just slippery...not here! It's chewy and delicious. I also had peach soup. Peach, isn't that a fruit? No, it's not. Let's break down prejudices to enjoy life to the fullest! I also had a crispy and chewy pizza...so delicious...seriously delicious...Black ink pasta, with no fishy taste at all!!! It's so delicious, I want to turn completely black and bathe in it~ The gentle scent of the sea spreads, and the richness and flavor rush in... Every time I come here, I sigh. No words are needed.
I visit this place so often, it's time for an update lol. I visited in January 2016. The wonderful old man here makes you want to run up to him and say, "Sir~!" He's basically a farmer, starting from preparing the soil before growing vegetables, ensuring not only safety but also delicious and enjoyable meals. It's a place where you can enjoy a meal with anticipation. My father developed gallstones and can't have oily meat or nuts. But he still wants to eat...so if you make a reservation in advance, they will prepare delicious and enjoyable dishes even for such people. The man is a true professional! The appetizer salad has a wonderful vegetable flavor. The seasoning is gentle. This is what a good balance is. The turnip soup is thick and delicious~ it warms me up~ And the pizza here is incredibly delicious!!! It's super yummy~ Even the small size gives a sense of "satisfaction" and "fulfillment." Such a delicious and heartwarming restaurant...The "old man" in the kitchen is wonderful, and if you make a reservation and go, you can have a little chat with him. It's a place where you can feel something beyond just a high consciousness of food!
I visited in 2012 for the first time. I will never forget the shock of "raw food"! The entrance of the restaurant gives off a chic Italian vibe. But once you step inside, it's a surprise!! The solid beams here and there give a sense of weightiness, and the building itself is magnificent. When I asked the owner, he said they renovated a 80-year-old townhouse (initially worried if it could be lived in) with great taste. The blend of weightiness, calmness, and kindness creates a cozy atmosphere, and you can see a small garden with lush greenery in the back. Now, three of us ordered pasta lunch, pizza lunch, and soup lunch!! Judging from the menu, I thought "This won't be filling! It looks elegant..." But surprise!!! From the pickled salad with turnips, carrots, green beans, bell peppers to the delicate quiche, and the deep flavor of the soup...The bread is also incredibly delicious. This "delicious" is not just about "rich and delicious butter", but a gentle deliciousness that permeates deep into your body. The pizza baked in the oven is exquisite!! The pizza, pasta, and soup, nothing is overly heavy or anything like that!!! And they don't use meat here, so even if you're like me and don't like meat, or if you're a vegetarian like many foreigners, you can enjoy without any worries!! The owner puts his heart and soul into each ingredient, and I could feel how much he loves them. Truly precious.
