Sashimi assortment 800 yen, side dish assortment 180 yen, grilled salmon collar 400 yen, natto 180 yen, medium bottle 600 yen, shochu highball 400 yen x 2 【Total】2,960 yen. It's great to have a restaurant that is open all day. Even if you come at a random time (after 2pm), you can still drink (o^-')b I had a glimmer of hope and tried ordering a raw fish side dish for the first time. The result was neither good nor bad. It was a reliable izakaya experience, and the food was delicious as always today (๑′ᴗ‵๑) I'm satisfied (^^) Thank you for the meal m(_ _)m

The pork cutlet curry costs 900 yen and comes in a silver container with a retro look. The taste is not very spicy, just a regular curry (probably from a retort pack). The egg and rice bowl is priced at 500 yen, which is quite cheap. The taste is neither good nor bad, but the egg and rice bowl is a good deal for the price. Overall, the food is average, but the prices are reasonable.

Katsu curry for 900 yen, Wakame and Tororo Soba for 600 yen, and Natto for 130 yen. The curry had a taste similar to retort pouch curry with a small portion of rice, so my partner recommends getting extra rice. The Wakame and Tororo Udon with Natto was delicious. You can get up to 1.5 to 2 servings of udon for the same price, but for Soba, you need to pay extra for a larger portion. Overall, we left the restaurant feeling quite full.

Visited after almost four months. Had a simple lunch with ordinary side dishes and some drinks. It was enough, it was good. The fried dishes included onion rings, croquettes, beef cutlet, and pork cutlet. The beef cutlet was delicious. Wanted to try the conger eel but it was a bit expensive at 800 yen. Satisfied, satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

Just a few minutes from Kintetsu Fushimi Station. When you enter the store, there are table seats and a sunken kotatsu. Let's start with a bottle of beer and cheers~☆ Then, we headed to the refrigerator in search of side dishes. The refrigerator is filled with a variety of dishes from sashimi to simmered dishes and tamagoyaki. You can choose and ask the staff to heat it up for you. There were several people that day, so we tried a variety of dishes. Red wiener, tamagoyaki, shumai - I love these kinds of dishes. The staff member attending to us said it's a dish they always eat. Yeah, I totally get it~ Sashimi octopus, fried chicken, simmered bamboo shoots, grilled salmon, beef tendon stew, scallops in butter, chirashi sushi, etc. Everyone was surprised by the volume of the katsudon. And it was delicious! The alcohol here (highball) is strong and delicious. We all wish there was a place like this near our homes. Even though it's an udon shop, we ended up just drinking without eating udon, so next time I want to come back and try the udon. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I ordered curry udon with hot pot for the first time. I had a feeling that the chef had changed recently, as the udon broth used to be delicious and the reason I kept coming back. Lately, the broth hasn't been as tasty and I can't really taste the flavor. The set meals used to be even more delicious too. So, I've been trying out different menu items recently, but I'm still a bit lost.

The restaurant has a showcase with a variety of dishes where you can pick and eat your favorite. They quickly heat up the warm dishes for you. They also have sashimi and a wide selection of drinks. The 90 yen croquette was crispy and a great deal. Personally, I loved the large natto beans. I just stopped by, but ended up having one beer and two large highballs, the alcohol just kept flowing. In this day and age where these kinds of shops are disappearing, this is a place that I want to cherish. Thank you for the meal.

Five months since my last visit. I enjoyed a leisurely lunch with the usual, nothing special, "otsumami" side dishes. Just chilling with some daytime drinking. This is the life (๑′ᴗ‵๑) Satisfied, satisfied (^^) Thank you for the meal m(_ _)m

Whenever I go, the restaurant is always full of customers. The staff are very friendly and kind. I always order the katsudon! The broth must be delicious! There are also sashimi and daily side dishes displayed in the showcase, which is fun to pick out yourself, and children love it too!

The lunch set with a bowl dish and udon for 900 yen is cheap, right? On this day, I had sauce katsudon and tamago toji udon. Be careful, you need to specify if you want mini udon or regular udon because the mini udon is really small. The photo shows regular udon and mentaiko ankake udon with 1.5 servings. The taste was not very strong in mentaiko flavor, it was salty dashi udon. I won't order it again... I shouldn't have taken the risk, it was a mistake.

The portion of the chopped udon with sweet red bean paste sauce was 1.5 servings, but it felt a bit underwhelming since the price is the same for up to 2 servings. The bowl is big, so maybe ordering 2 servings would have been better? It's definitely not enough with just 1 serving. Well, udon seems to be more of a side dish here with the main focus on set meals, so it's understandable. The price is cheap and it's delicious, so I'll just go with it.

I want to increase my stock of restaurants where you can eat reasonably priced dishes that are not particularly special but satisfying. It's hard to find such places. The shochu hot water was just right in terms of strength and tasted good. I'm satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

This is a Showa era diner located on a downtown bridge. The smell of udon fills the air inside the restaurant. I ordered the daily special, which consisted of croquette and salted salmon. The salted salmon was lightly seasoned and healthy. Since the rice portion seemed small, I also ordered a small udon for an additional 100 yen. It had a normal taste, but I was satisfied. Most menu items are priced at 800 yen or more, so it's not a cheap restaurant. By around 12:50, most of the customers had left, and it seemed to have become a lunch spot for blue-collar workers.

The menu is extensive with plenty of udon options to choose from. I was torn between the curry udon and the tanuki udon with sweet simmered chopped fried tofu. It's quite sweet. You can choose between 1 serving, 1.5 servings, or 2 servings at the same price, which is great for students who eat a lot. I always think this is a convenient restaurant.

I visited the restaurant after five months. The dishes were delicious, especially the grilled salmon collar, the simmered conger eel, and the natto. I ordered a large bottle of Sapporo beer and chose the sake brand "Tsukasakura" over "Kenbishi" even though it was the same price. The conger eel dish came with plum paste, which made it even more delicious. I enjoyed being able to choose my favorite dishes and the atmosphere of dining at the restaurant. It was a satisfying experience. Thank you for the meal.

I had passed by this shop many times before but had never actually gone in. I parked my car in front of the shop. I ordered the daily udon set, which came with udon and katsudon, the ultimate combination. They also had a variety of self-serve side dishes, which might be a good option when you're undecided about lunch.

Wakasagi Nanbanzuke 200 yen, pickles 170 yen, Mino Tempura 500 yen, salt-grilled mackerel 250 yen, draft beer 500 yen x 2, hot sake 450 yen x 1. [Total] 2,420 yen. Went to the dining bar after three and a half months. It was my second visit, so I focused on four dishes. Maybe because it was warm today, I, unusual for me, had two draft beers. The Mino Tempura was delicious. The bill was cheap! Did I forget to order something? A great start. I'm satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

This is truly "THE local diner" type of restaurant. They have a wide variety of menu items such as set meals, rice bowls, and udon noodles, making it difficult to decide what to order. I ordered the rumored giant Jumbo Chicken Cutlet set meal and the Curry Udon with cutlet. When the Chicken Cutlet set meal was brought to me, I couldn't help but feel a slight anxiety about whether I could finish it all. This restaurant offers a great service where you can choose between 1, 1.5, or 2 servings of udon noodles for the same price. I, of course, ordered the 2-serving Curry Udon and was shocked by the size of the bowl. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable, making this restaurant a very convenient and valuable find.

The person walked from the Sumizome area. They passed the now closed Osaka-ya, didn't feel like trying Nitsuki Shokudo, found Matakai still closed, the second branch of Maguro Garage closed, a few people lining up at Seaburano Kami Fushimi Gouriki, Tanuki-ya closed on their day off, didn't feel like Fukukitaru, and for some reason, Koto was open, but they didn't have the courage to go in. Eventually, they ended up at this restaurant. The menu, aside from the daily special, was not particularly cheap. Some regulars were eating sushi packs (anago sushi and rolled sushi) with udon, but those items were not on the menu. They ordered the katsudon with a feeling of "well, why not." The dish that arrived was different from what they imagined. It was served in a low, wide, somewhat stylish bowl. It was disappointing that it didn't come with miso soup. The egg topping was wonderfully done - fluffy and creamy. The pork cutlet was about 1 cm thick. It was neither tough nor tender, relying on the sauce and egg topping to make it a decent portion of pork cutlet. The egg topping was well done, but the flavor was not particularly distinctive, making it a somewhat ordinary pork cutlet that matched the overall simplicity. Perhaps a rice bowl with a clear focus on the egg, like a tamago-don or katsu-don, would have been better.
