The store used to be called Cube, but as of May 2023, it has become part of Porte. It is connected to the Isetan restaurant floor next door, so you can use either elevator to get there. I ordered the beef tongue and beef cutlet set for 1,990 yen. It was nice that rice refills were free. The dish was a bit lacking in moisture, but it was good when eaten with grated yam. It was a satisfying meal with a good portion size.

Today I was in the mood for meat, so I decided to try a beef tongue restaurant for the first time since 2017 when I had it in Sendai. I ordered a set that had a variety of small portions, but the beef tongue was too tough! As someone with temporomandibular joint disorder, it was torture. Surprisingly, the beef cutlet that I didn't have high expectations for was actually delicious when it cooled down. It reminded me of when I went to a similar restaurant in Sendai, where I also thought the beef tongue was too tough! The beef tail soup was the most delicious thing there. The quality of the meat did not match the price. I'm sorry.

I had the ◆Grilled Beef Tongue Set Meal with Grated Yam◆ and the ◆Premium Grilled Beef Tongue Set Meal with Grated Yam◆ at the beef tongue specialty store on the 11th floor of Kyoto Station, The Cube. The rice was firm and went well with the grated yam. Although it was 500 yen more expensive, the "premium grilled beef tongue" was the better choice. The "grilled beef tongue set meal" lacked the chewy texture of beef tongue, which was disappointing.

After watching a play, I decided to have dinner in Kyoto. I love beef tongue, so I was looking forward to the beef tongue and beef cutlet set with barley rice and grated yam. But wait, the beef tongue is so tough? I can't chew it properly. The beef cutlet is not even hot. And the barley rice feels dry. I regret not checking the reviews before coming here.

I had lunch at Gyutan Inosuke. The Gyukatsu looked delicious and of course, the Gyutan looked delicious too. I couldn't decide, so I ordered both the Gyutan charcoal-grilled and Gyukatsu set meals. Both the Gyutan and Gyukatsu were tender and incredibly delicious.

I had a beef cutlet set meal. During a trip to Nara, I stopped by Kyoto for lunch at the station. I went into a restaurant called Inosuke and had a beef cutlet set meal. My daughter had a sirloin steak set meal and enjoyed the crispy surface and tender inside of the meat that kept coming out as she chewed. The beef cutlet was rare, with a light crispy coating that balanced out the richness perfectly. The only downside was the sticky brown rice, which made me wonder how they could make such brown rice. It seemed like the staff had never eaten it before, showing a lack of attention to detail.

Today's lunch was at "Sendai specialty Gyuutan Inosuke" in Kyoto Station Building 11F The Cube, a restaurant specializing in beef tongue. The dining area has terrace-like seating. I chose a table by the window in the back. The vinyl partitions give a modern touch. The recommended menu seems to be around here. Looking at the full lineup, it's all about beef. I was torn, but I went with the "Inosuke set meal" for 2,739 yen. The view is truly beautiful. After a while, a set meal with the top half brown and the bottom half white, resembling an All-Star plate, arrived. The tail soup had a subtle umami flavor. The stew had plenty of vegetables and tongue chunks in a rich sauce. The beef tongue was large but had a crispy texture. In addition to the main dish, there was grilled beef tongue and boiled tongue with salted green onions. The grilled beef tongue had a firm texture and the meat's flavor was enhanced with each bite. The boiled tongue with salted green onions was thick but tender. The salted green onion sauce had a hint of garlic. The miso-like condiment served with it was a mystery, but it went well with the boiled vegetables. While it didn't quite match the excitement of eating beef tongue in Sendai, I was able to enjoy beef in various forms.

The beef tongue stew and beef cutlet set meal with grated yam beef tongue stew brought back nostalgic memories of the past when I used to occasionally eat out as a child. The strong artificial seasoning aroma that lingers in the nose also adds to the feeling of time travel. The stew includes vegetables, and although it may seem a bit pricey, considering the recent rise in food prices, it's a good deal. The beef cutlet tasted delicious with just salt. Oh, by the way, for those who are visiting for the first time, finding the way to the 11th floor of CUBE can be quite confusing, so please refer to the image for directions.

The restaurant only serves beef tongue, but the taste is average. I ordered the stew and Inosuke set meal. The stew could have been improved by adding butter at the end, as it was a bit too salty. The rice was good. The barley rice for seconds didn't taste great, so I didn't get more. Overall, it was just average. Not too expensive or cheap, not particularly delicious or bad.

This time, I used it for lunch. I was undecided on what to order, but this time I ordered the Inosuke set meal. Order details: Inosuke set meal 2,299 yen *Grilled beef tongue, green onion salted beef tongue, beef tongue stew, salad, barley rice, beef tail soup set The green onion salted beef tongue was delicious, cooked tenderly. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere where you can overlook the scenery of Kyoto indoors. The staff's customer service was also polite. It is a beef tongue restaurant located in Kyoto The CUBE.

The favorite stationery store for children was unexpectedly selling various items at a corner of Kyoto Isetan for a limited time. The store is called Inosuke The Cube Kyoto. I visited the store and had a meal at Create Restaurant using shareholder benefits. The grilled beef tongue set meal was delicious and easy to eat, but a bit salty overall. The restaurant was empty due to the impact of the pandemic. It was a struggle to find dishes that go well with alcohol. The boiled beef tongue was tender and tasty. #BeefTongueInosuke #KyotoGourmet #KyotoYakiniku #Yakiniku #BeefTongue #Tongue #SendaiShiro #StationeryStore #Stationery #ShareholderBenefits #CreaRes #CreateRestaurant #Foodstagram #Foodstagrammer #Meatstagram #Meatstagrammer #Tabelog

I had a meal at the gourmet street on the 11th floor of The Cube in front of Kyoto Station. The restaurant was called Inosuke, specializing in beef tongue dishes. However, they also served beef cutlet. I couldn't decide, so I decided to splurge a bit and ordered the set meal with thick-sliced beef tongue and beef cutlet for 1890 yen (excluding tax). The meal included beef tongue, beef cutlet, and tail soup. The beef cutlet was served with sauce and salt on a three-part dish. I preferred to eat it with wasabi and salt. The beef tongue came with plenty of pickled cabbage underneath, and also included spicy miso, a specialty from Sendai. I enjoyed the beef tongue with a generous amount of spicy miso. The tail soup also had pieces of beef tongue in it, which became more flavorful as I chewed. However, everything, including the soup, was served lukewarm. Only the barley rice was hot. Despite being someone who is sensitive to hot temperatures, I found it enjoyable. I even asked for a second serving of barley rice.

I went to use the shareholder benefits. The restaurant is located where Kitchen Gon used to be, I think! The view is nice. I ordered the Inosuke set meal, which was a bit pricey. The food came out quickly. First, I had the beef tongue, which I think was fatty tongue. The texture was good, with just the right amount of firmness, and the taste was delicious, not too fatty. The salt-boiled tongue, on the other hand, had no texture and was mushy, with a less than great taste. The tongue stew didn't have much meat, but it was quite tasty. There was also oxtail soup and salad, with plenty of food, and you could get rice refills, so you'll leave full! The salt-boiled tongue was a big disappointment, making me feel like the price was too high. Overall, it's on the expensive side, so hmm... probably won't go back.

I arrived at Kyoto Station during my work break, unsure of what to eat for lunch. I decided to head to CUBE's beef tongue restaurant, but was tempted by the beef cutlet on the menu. I found a set that allowed me to try both, and that became my lunch choice for the day. The set cost ¥1,790, which seemed a bit expensive, but considering the beef cutlet alone was ¥1,690 for 120g, it didn't seem too bad. However, when the meal arrived, I was shocked to see that the cutlet was small! It was quite oily and lacked flavor. On the other hand, the beef tongue had a good texture and taste. Overall, the experience was okay, but the seasoning was too salty for my liking. I don't think I will have high expectations when visiting a beef tongue restaurant in the future. The atmosphere was also not very appealing.

The other day when I came to Kyoto Station Building, I was torn between which restaurant to choose. I ended up choosing a restaurant that serves beef tongue dishes, and although there were many menu options, I decided to order the thick-cut beef tongue and beef cutlet set. It was delicious and I enjoyed my meal. Thank you for the feast.

I headed to Kyoto to look for something. I thought about going to Ramen Koji for lunch, but decided to explore upstairs for something other than ramen. I decided to try some beef tongue at Inosuke, as it had been a while. I ordered a set with thick-sliced beef tongue and beef cutlet. The beef cutlet seemed to be made from the end pieces, as the shapes were uneven and there was a lack of consistency in the cooking. While there were fewer tendons compared to Katsugyu, they were still present, which was a bit disappointing. The beef tongue was firmer than I expected.

I haven't had beef tongue in a long time, so I thought I'd try a beef tongue restaurant while I'm in Kyoto. I wonder why beef tongue is so delicious. Wherever you eat it, it's pretty good, right? There are differences in taste, but everywhere is decently tasty. This place would be even better if there were a little more smiles.

I honestly didn't know that there is a restaurant floor on the 11th floor of Kyoto Station under the state of emergency due to Corona. I happened to see a display of Ramen Koji on the 10th floor and went up, where I found a variety of restaurants. I chose the beef tongue specialty shop called Inosuke, and was able to enjoy my meal in almost a private setting. It was a bit disappointing that I couldn't drink alcohol, but the beef tongue with a good texture and a nice charcoal-grilled aroma was delicious. The oxtail soup was also very tasty. It would have been nice to be able to see the view from the 11th floor of Kyoto Station while dining.
