I heard that the curry bread is delicious when going to eat lunch, so I went to a bakery called Little Stone near Kornan JR Uji Station North Store and had some curry bread. The curry bread costs 150 yen, but most of the bread there is in the 100 yen range, which is very reasonable. Little Stone Uji Store, Uji, Kyoto Prefecture, Uji Tonouchi 80-10.

It's a bit far from JR Uji Station, but they have a wide variety of options and most importantly, they are affordable! The popular Golden Curry Bread is crispy and highly recommended! They have other locations besides Uji, so if you come across one, be sure to stop by! It was delicious!

I haven't purchased anything from this shop in a long time. I haven't had a chance to relax on my days off recently. The prices have slightly increased due to the rising cost of ingredients, but it is still quite reasonable. I bought seven pastries as shown in the photo, including burgers and sandwiches, and it cost me less than 1000 yen. That's amazing. The taste is also delicious and satisfying. I hope this shop continues like this in the future. Thank you for the meal.

A bakery found during a morning drive, with a reasonable price range and a wide variety of breads. Good value for money and tasty. Quite popular among the locals in Uji city, with a decent amount of customers coming in and out. Perfect for a date with a girl you're interested in: invite her for a run, morning bath at Genji's hot spring, stop by to buy bread, enjoy the streets of Uji, have a picnic and cherry blossom viewing, and take a nap.

It might be a bit rude to say, but that's the impression I got. It's not super delicious, but it's a little tasty. The jumbo frank costs 180 yen, while the other three breads cost 130 yen each. The custard in the cream pan is a bit rich. The curry pan is slightly spicy. The small frank roll, despite its white appearance, tasted like ketchup. I bought two frank rolls because I couldn't find the recommended "Little Frank" on the sign in front of the store at first, but I found it after spotting the jumbo frank. I was too embarrassed to go back and exchange them. It would be nice if the payment at the counter was automated and accepted other forms of payment besides cash. If it actually did accept other forms of payment, I apologize, but if so, it's not very clear.

I sometimes go to a bakery near the supermarket I frequent, and I've been curious about it for a while! (*´﹀`*) So, I decided to stop by while shopping at the supermarket! I arrived at the shop around 1:00 PM. There is a dedicated parking lot next to the shop with space for 6 cars, making it convenient for those visiting by car! (*•̀ᴗ•́*)
The items I purchased this time were:
⚫︎ Grand Salt Roll 120 yen
⚫︎ Brown Rice Bread 120 yen
* All prices include tax
◆ Grand Salt Roll ◆
The sign said, "The surface is crispy, the inside is chewy♪ The light texture of fermented butter spreads juicily. A new classic☆" I lightly toasted it before eating! It's as the sign says, the surface has a crispy texture! The fermented butter taste was unfamiliar to me, but it tasted like margarine! The salt wasn't too strong, maybe!?
◆ Brown Rice Bread ◆
The sign said, "A mineral-rich breakfast bread with 20% brown rice blend." I measured the size to be about 12cm in length, 10cm in height, and 10cm in width. You can see the grains of brown rice on the surface! I had it half fresh and half toasted. Fresh, it's slightly sweet, and you can taste the brown rice! The inside is soft and fluffy! When toasted, it tastes like the bread you can buy at the supermarket for around 160-170 yen per loaf!
Most of the items at this shop are priced at 120 yen (tax included), making it very affordable! The outdoor sign displayed the "Top 5 Popular Bread Ranking":
1. Golden Curry Bread
2. Happy Cream Bread
3. Little Frank
4. HOT Chili Salsa
5. Melon Pan
I like savory bread, so I'm interested in the curry bread and little frank! If I have the chance, I'd like to visit again! Thank you for the meal! ( ^人^ )

I came to Uji after a long time and found that some new shops had opened. One of them is this one. The beautiful interior is filled with bread priced at 110 yen each. Even though the size is small, sandwiches and mini burgers are also priced the same, which will be a selling point. With the famous deli store Tamaki-tei nearby, this clear distinction in strategy seems to be effective. I decided to try the overflowing beef burger, which was definitely of higher quality than its price.

This used to be a different bakery, but it changed without me realizing. I recently visited and was surprised to find that all the breads were 110 yen, even the sandwiches. I wonder if they can make a profit this way. I'm a bit concerned, but the taste is just fine and everything is made with care. It's not overly fancy, but if you're looking for something to eat every day, you can enjoy it without any issues. I hope this kind of shop stays open for a long time and I want to support it. Thank you for the meal.
