This is a ramen shop with its main store in Fushimi, Kyoto. They have been in business for many years, serving a simple tonkotsu shoyu ramen with flavorful thinly sliced chashu, bean sprouts, and green onions at a very affordable price. Additionally, you receive a 100 yen voucher every time you visit, making it incredibly cost-effective in this day and age. Despite the low price, you can enjoy a taste that feels like traditional ramen, which I personally love. I hope this shop will continue forever. I recommend asking the staff to try some flavor variations as well. The Fukuchiyama branch also offers a delicious and affordable soft-boiled seasoned egg.

Located along Route 9 in Kyoto, this ramen shop has its main store in Kyoto City. It's a delicious and affordable shop. There is a parking lot next to the shop. This time I tried the Chashu Ramen and Yakimeshi (fried rice) with extra Chashu. The Chashu with less fat is thinly sliced but quite plentiful. The lean Chashu is delicious. The soup is light and tasty, and the noodles are delicious too. I love them. The Yakimeshi has a subtle sesame oil flavor and is well-seasoned. It has a larger portion compared to the small size. It's delicious to have it as a set with ramen. I appreciate that it's affordable and tasty. The service was also good.

I went to the new ramen restaurant in Fukuchiyama City, Kyoto Prefecture, called "Daikoku Ramen," which is a popular ramen shop in Fushimi, Kyoto. The restaurant is located along Route 176 with a yellow sign. The interior of the restaurant is mainly table seating, which is unusual. It seems to target people coming by car. Daikoku Ramen is known for its affordable and delicious ramen. The regular ramen costs 530 yen, and the large Chashu ramen costs 830 yen. This time, I tried the basic ramen. The ramen had plenty of green onions and was a tonkotsu soy sauce flavor. The soup was rich and salty, with a strong punch of tonkotsu flavor. They also use chicken bones in the soup. The noodles were medium thick straight noodles. There were plenty of bean sprouts, green onions, and chashu. Even though it was a basic ramen, there were four slices of chashu. The portion was satisfying, and I was full after finishing the bowl of ramen. After paying, I received a 100 yen discount coupon for ramen, so I can enjoy it even cheaper next time! It's a very cost-effective ramen shop that would make people who want to eat cheaply very happy. The cost performance was excellent (^-^).

Located along the national highway, this ramen shop has its main branch in Kyoto city. It's great to be able to enjoy delicious ramen in Fukuchiyama. There is a parking lot next to the shop. This time, I tried the ramen, fried rice, and ramen with rich umami-filled soup. It has that Kyoto ramen vibe that I like. The lean meat has a delicious flavor and the chashu is also tasty. The thin noodles are great and delicious. The saltiness is on the stronger side. The fried rice has a sesame oil aroma and when eaten with the ramen, it has a nice flavor. The staff were also great with their service.

Ramen ¥530, fried rice ¥240. The ramen was pork bone soy sauce with toppings of two large slices of chashu, bean sprouts, and green onions. Simple. The taste was delicious. The fried rice was a bit dry and crumbly. The portion was about half of a regular serving of fried rice. The taste was good with a slight hint of sesame oil.

Located along Route 9, this shop is just a few minutes west of Fukuchiyama Station South Exit. After passing the "Shinjo" intersection and driving about 300 meters, you will see the shop on your left. The parking lot around the shop is quite spacious, but it tends to be full due to its size. Inside the shop, there are only table seats as the counter seats have been removed. The menu is simple, offering ramen, chashu-men, yakimeshi, and rice in regular or large sizes. Toppings include menma and kimchi. The ramen is priced at 530 yen, which is quite reasonable, while the chashu-men at 680 yen seems cheap. I ordered the chashu-men and also decided to try the yakimeshi. The ramen arrived first, with a creamy white soup that seemed to be a blend of chicken and pork bones. It was surprisingly light and had a slightly thick texture. The noodles were medium-thin straight noodles with a chewy texture. The soup appeared slightly salty to me, but others may find it less salty. The toppings included chashu and green onions, which complemented the soup well. The thinly sliced chashu was a bit disappointing in terms of value, with an additional charge for extra slices. I felt that adding more chashu like at other shops would enhance the satisfaction. The yakimeshi, although a regular portion, had a gentle amount of chashu, egg, and green onions. It was a standard fried rice, freshly cooked upon ordering. While it was a bit dry for my taste, the price of 240 yen made it worth ordering. Overall, the chashu-men and yakimeshi combo was affordable at 920 yen, and the value for money was impressive. I recommend adding extra chashu toppings to enhance the experience.

- Ramen (large) ¥680
- Yakimeshi (large) ¥360
I was expecting a rich and hearty flavor, but overall it was quite light and mild. The cost performance is good, but if you order both large sizes, it will still end up being over 1,000 yen. It's interesting how the regular size is called "yakimeshi" while the large size is called "yakimeshi" - but let's leave that aside.

There are two stores in Kyoto city and a new one has opened in Fukuchiyama. I ordered the Char Siu Ramen for 680 yen and the Yakimeshi (fried rice) for 240 yen. The ramen is a soy sauce-based pork bone broth with chicken stock, which gives it a rich flavor without being too heavy. The fried rice was also delicious. I received a 100 yen discount coupon for my next visit, so I think the cost performance is quite good.
