The autumn leaves are almost over in early winter in Arashiyama, Kyoto. Despite that, there are still a lot of people visiting. I found a shop in Arashiyama that sells Maiko-themed sweets such as Maiko Han Hihi. They also sell the popular ◆Kyoto-style oil sprinkle for 594 yen. It's not as spicy as you might expect from the name. I bought it and it has become a new favorite to accompany rice. There are a total of 4 types of sprinkles, so I might buy a different one next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I bought some souvenirs. I tried a few samples, including the popular Maiko-san Hi-Hi's chili oil, and it was very delicious, so I bought various items. The staff at the store were also very kind and helpful, so I am satisfied. I think I will come back again and repeat my visit.

On the way back from eating Michelin one-star eel in Arashiyama in 2016, I stopped by to buy souvenirs. Even though it's for myself (lol). Inside the store, they let me try a sample of dashi in a small paper cup with shichimi (Maiko han-hi-hi~) added. It was super spicy! Even though they put in quite a small amount, it was really spicy. This one taste test completely shattered the lingering feeling of the Michelin eel. My companion tried ichimi and it was still spicy. But they still bought it (lol). But I love spicy food, so I want to fully utilize it when making udon, soba, or hot pot. However, my blood pressure has been high for the past few years and I finally returned to normal levels last year, so I want to be careful not to overdo it! Thank you for the meal. m(_ _)m

The staff and executives of a certain organization that I always rely on are "spicy food lovers," so I decided to get them souvenirs that are not just spicy, but "extremely spicy." This store has just opened, so we didn't need to visit other stores. The normal spicy items were tolerable, but when we tried the "Crazy Spicy Maiko Hanhiihii" sample, it was like, "Ouch!" (T∇T) Ahaha... just a little taste made me sweat. The staff offered me water and showed great attention to detail. We also tried the snack chips, and it was like, "Tasty but spicy!" (T∇T) Ahaha... with a name like "Maiko Hanhiihii," I thought it wouldn't be that bad, but I was wrong. I'm sure they will be happy with this gift. I haven't had the opportunity to use it at home yet...

I bought the "Kyora Oil Furikake" and brought it home. I tried it at the store and it was delicious, so I bought it right away. The dashi was also very refined and tasty! The other chicken soboro furikake and curry senbei were also delicious with a spicy kick, so I plan to buy them next time I visit. Highly recommended for souvenirs or for personal use!

I love the curry products from my favorite maiko, Hanhiihii. I usually like spicy seasoning, but I was worried if I could handle the Crazy Spicy Curry because it is too spicy. It is spicy. It is spicy, but it has more than just spiciness, it also has richness and umami. It seems to have a high quality for a retort curry. I would like to buy it again.
