I went on a trip to Kyoto with my friends, and on the first night, we headed to Tango, our second home! We enjoyed delicious fish dishes like meat, kushikatsu, noodles, and tempura. The fish was fresh and incredibly tasty! The presentation was unique, like the goldfish bowl salad. We had a fun night!

There are many menus with unique names, which is fun. I forgot the official name, but there was a goldfish salad where the salad was placed on top of a goldfish bowl, giving off a playful vibe. The taste was average, but the creativity was enjoyable. There were many female customers, which might be due to such playful dishes. I tried other items as well, and they were also average in taste. The cost performance was neither cheap nor expensive, just average. It was full because it was the end of the year. Each room was a private room, so we only saw other customers when we went to the restroom. It might be a good place to go with friends.

There was a rare private room izakaya in the countryside, which is usually found in cities. It is a very popular place, but personally, I didn't find the food particularly delicious, and I don't understand why it is so popular. I think you can enjoy much fresher sashimi at traditional inns or ryokans. The difference between this place and traditional inns or ryokans is that there are more creative dishes, a wide variety of drinks, private rooms, and slightly more affordable prices. It is a hidden gem tucked away in a back alley that you wouldn't find unless you knew about it.

This shop is located a little further back after crossing the bridge in front of the NH My Car Center. It opened about two years ago. You have to take off your shoes at the entrance, so the inside of the shop is very clean. The menu mainly consists of items in the 400 yen range, and everything is quite delicious with a wide variety of choices. There are many drink options available, and the seating is in cozy box seats that are not easily visible from the outside. Many women visit this shop as well. Most seats offer a view of the pond in the garden. The chef's personality is amusing, and there are many unique menu items, making it a fun place to visit. It's also nice to know that they offer authentic ramen that can rival ramen shops for the finishing touch.

I was able to enjoy a leisurely meal in a spacious tatami room with a large table. The owner of this restaurant used to work at another place known for its delicious food, so I may have had high expectations. I ordered many dishes, but most of them were just okay. However, the menu had a good variety and there were plenty of drink options available. The dishes had interesting names and eye-catching presentations, prioritizing aesthetics over taste. If I have the chance, I would like to come back and try out different drinks next time.
