I went to a Korean restaurant inside Isetan at Kyoto Station! The main dish is Bibimbap, and you can choose your own Korean seasonings to enjoy. I had a lunch set with Bibimbap and Sundubu! It also came with Jeon and appetizers, so it was a satisfying meal with a lot of food! Thank you for the delicious meal!

I made a reservation at Minari on the 11th floor of Isetan, and it was the right choice. By the time we finished eating around 11:30, there were a lot of people waiting. I reserved a seat where we could sit comfortably, and we were guided to a sofa seat one level up, so we could chat without worrying about the people next to us. I had the Samgyetang set for 2178 yen including tax. My friends had the Bibimbap and Naengmyeon set. It was reasonable with 4 small side dishes, rice, and a main dish of hot and bubbly Samgyetang served in a pot. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. By the way, when you exit the entrance of Isetan and turn left, there is a bread and tea goods store that I couldn't help but take a picture of.

I ordered the "Samgyupsal Set with Thick-Cut Pork Belly" which came with small kimchi pancakes with edamame, 4 seasonal side dishes, barley rice, and comtan soup. The barley rice had only a small amount of barley in it. The comtan soup was delicious. The thick-cut pork belly was seasoned with salt and pepper, but they also provided a sweet miso-like sauce to dip it in. Overall, it was a delicious meal, but I'm not sure about the pricing or authenticity since I'm not familiar with the original. Give it a try!

After enjoying cherry blossom viewing in Kyoto, we visited the Korean restaurant called "Mi Nari" located on the 11th floor of Kyoto Station Isetan. Despite the peak tourist season and the cherry blossoms in full bloom, we arrived at 12 o'clock and had to wait for 18 groups ahead of us, but we were seated in about 40 minutes. We ordered the cold noodles set, which came with side dishes like namul and kimchi. The cold noodles were refreshing and delicious, especially when mixed with mustard and vinegar for added flavor.

My companion loves Korean food, so we visited this place. When we entered the restaurant, there were a few empty tables, but within 30 minutes it was full. Phew, that was close. The photo ended up being a half-hearted portrait, I'm sorry about that. I tried Samgyetang for the first time. It's a dish made by simmering a young chicken stuffed with glutinous rice, jujube, Korean ginseng, and garlic. The young chicken was so tender that it easily fell apart with chopsticks. I was surprised by how strong the garlic flavor was. I love it, but it might be better to consider the dining companion or menu when bringing someone. Thank you for the meal.

I went to JR Kyoto Isetan to use a meal ticket for lunch. The ticket is like a lucky bag, and this time I went to a Korean restaurant called "Binaril" on the 11th floor of JR Kyoto Isetan's Eat Paradise. The ticket is for a weekday lunch and can be used for 1100 yen per person. The restaurant is located in the Last Run Street of Isetan and has a nice atmosphere. There were various menu options, and both my wife and I ordered the "Homemade Samgyetang Set" (which is normally priced at 2178 yen). The set came with 6 small side dishes and samgyetang. The side dishes were delicious, and the hot samgyetang was also very tasty. The chicken was tender and there were plenty of other ingredients in the soup. Overall, it was a satisfying meal without any shortcuts. I would like to try other menu options for lunch next time.

I had a lunch set of half & half with stone bibimbap and sundubu. The lunch set comes with seasonal chijimi (with special sauce) and 4 side dishes. For the stone bibimbap, they recommended mixing in some gochujang sauce to your liking, so I added about half a teaspoon and mixed in the egg yolk to enjoy the crispy rice. It was spicy enough for me. Next time, I'll add it little by little. The bibimbap was full of ingredients and remained hot until the end. The sundubu had seafood like squid and scallops, large tofu, and egg, also packed with ingredients. It was quite hot and spicy, making me feel warm and even sweat a bit. The total price was 2,068 yen including tax. It's not cheap, but considering the generous portions of bibimbap and sundubu, along with chijimi and side dishes, I felt satisfied and thought it was worth it. It was a fulfilling lunch experience.

I was wandering around the Isetan restaurant area in Ginza looking for a place to eat, but everywhere was super crowded and it was a bit discouraging at 1 pm. I randomly chose a restaurant and surprisingly, the turnover was fast. Their specialty is bibimbap, and they also offer dishes like sundubu and samgyetang that can be served quickly without much effort. I was tempted by the sundubu, so I ordered the Sundubu set (¥1450 before tax). The lunch set came with various side dishes, which was nice. I think many women like to enjoy a variety of small dishes, so this Korean style is very good. The white namul in the middle was delicious, but I couldn't figure out what it was made of until the end. I wish there were some explanations provided. The mini jeon was a bit oily, but the taste was great, although it felt heavy on the stomach for its size. The main dish, Sundubu, had a slightly less rich flavor, but it had plenty of tofu for a satisfying meal. Most importantly, it was quite spicy, satisfying my craving for spicy food. Despite entering without high expectations, I was reasonably satisfied with the lunch! The turnover is fast, so it's recommended for busy weekend lunches. Thank you for the meal!

Around 6:30 pm, we visited a Korean dining restaurant called "Binaeri" located on the 11th floor of JR Kyoto Isetan with 2 people. As the state of emergency was in effect, they were offering lunch menus for dinner as well. The restaurant, located on the restaurant floor of the department store, had a clean and spacious seating arrangement. Here are some of the lunch menu options: - Stone Bibimbap Set (1,595 yen) - Sundubu Set (1,595 yen) - Warm Egg Vegetable Bibimbap Set (1,485 yen) - Cold Noodle Set (1,595 yen) - Samgyetang Set (1,925 yen) - Cheese Dakgalbi Set (1,705 yen) - Thickly Sliced Three-layer Pork Belly Set (1,815 yen) - Wagyu Beef Galbi Set (1,925 yen) You can also choose a combination of Stone Bibimbap or Warm Egg Vegetable Bibimbap with Cold Noodle or Sundubu in a half & half set. If you love meat, they also offer a Meat Half & Half where you can enjoy combinations like Cheese Dakgalbi with Three-layer Pork Belly, Three-layer Pork Belly with Wagyu Beef Galbi, or Wagyu Beef Galbi with Cheese Dakgalbi. Today's lunch was at "Korean Home Cooking Minari" on the 11th floor of JR Kyoto Isetan. The restaurant is located independently across from the restaurant area Eat Paradise. At first glance, you wouldn't know it's a Korean restaurant. But as you get closer, you can tell from the food samples that it's a Korean restaurant. There are three dishes tied for first place in the rankings. The patterns on the folding screen are Korean-style, but it doesn't look like a typical Korean restaurant. The recommended dish is the cold noodle set. They also have popular lunch sets and various meat dishes. They offer menu items like "Half and Half," which is a combination of two meat dishes. I chose the "Samgyetang set" for 1925 yen. When it arrived, it was a set with various Korean dishes. There was a seasonal side dish included. The waitress suggested mixing it with rice and gochujang, which turned it into a delicious mini bibimbap. The gochujang added a nice kick to it. The small pancake (jeon) was chewy and tasty. The japchae had an authentic flavor. The samgyetang was hot and full of umami, with a well-balanced seasoning. It had plenty of chicken pieces, although they were a bit difficult to eat with bones. The rice soaked up the soup and was delicious. I was able to truly experience the essence of samgyetang. I casually walked into the restaurant, but ended up experiencing authentic Korean flavors.

I visited for lunch this time. Last time I went at night, and I think it was more of a course meal. There were fewer set meals like today, but there were plenty of lunch sets to choose from this time. I couldn't decide, but I ended up choosing half Bibimbap and half pure tofu set. It came with a pancake and side dishes, making it a very indulgent lunch set. You can choose between stone pot Bibimbap, warm egg and vegetable Bibimbap, or pure tofu. I chose warm egg and vegetable Bibimbap and pure tofu. The pure tofu was served in a delicious seafood broth. It had a nice level of spiciness and warmed my body up. The tofu was soft and tasty. The Bibimbap was packed with vegetables and even though it was a half portion, it was quite filling. The pancake could have been a bit crispier, but that's just my personal preference. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. Thank you.

I didn't have lunch and it was already past 5 PM. It was cold outside, so I thought a warming meal would be nice. I happened to stop by Isetan after shopping. It was nighttime, and the place was full of groups of women enjoying course meals, so I felt a bit out of place dining alone. I ordered pure tofu and barley rice. The seafood broth was delicious and the tofu was silky smooth. It wasn't spicy at all, which was a bit disappointing for someone who likes spicy food like me. However, even for those who don't like spicy food, this dish would be fine. The highlight of this place is the attentive service from the staff. They were very polite and kept refilling my water promptly, which I appreciated.

First, the Chijimi, side dishes, Japchae, and barley rice arrived. Overall, there was nothing particularly noteworthy, just decent. I used the condiments on the table as I ate. The main Sundubu arrived in a hot pot, bubbling and looking delicious. It had plenty of tofu, eggs, clams, and other seafood ingredients. It was somewhat spicy but also flavorful, making it enjoyable to eat. So, bon appétit! The lunch was a bit on the pricey side. The convenience of being directly connected to Kyoto Station is a plus.

I ordered the recommended cold noodle set for the season, with half-sized portions of Korean BBQ, small jeon (Korean pancake), and assorted namul (seasoned vegetables). The seasoning was mainly sesame oil, giving a consistent flavor to the dishes. The meat was tender and tasty, but unfortunately, the cold noodles were a bit disappointing. The noodles lacked firmness and the soup was not as flavorful as expected. I might give this restaurant another try in the future to explore their other menu items like stone pot bibimbap.

When I went to Isetan with a friend, we came here. The restaurant area in Isetan was very crowded. We waited for 30 minutes to be seated at this restaurant. There were 4 types of condiments on the table. You can adjust the spiciness yourself! For lunch, the set comes with jeon, japchae, and side dishes! This is a shop located on the 11th floor of Kyoto Station Isetan. This time, I ordered stone bibimbap and thick-cut samgyeopsal set. The stone bibimbap is characterized by the addition of avocado. It was easy for anyone to eat. The thick-cut samgyeopsal made from three-layer pork had a generous portion. It did not come with lettuce. I wanted to try a variety of dishes, so I ordered a special set (I forgot the name) which includes kalbi, samgyeopsal, cheese dakgalbi, along with jeon and sundubu. I didn't have much time, so I went into the station building. I chose this Korean restaurant, which was relatively empty. I have been to Korea for work about 10 times, so I am quite picky about the taste. I ordered the Samgyetang set, but unfortunately, the dishes were not impressive for the price. The Samgyetang tasted like cheap frozen food, lacking the delicious broth that it should have. I don't think a restaurant with this quality is suitable for a station building.
