Ordered shrimp mayo, potato salad, beef tongue, and gratin with yam and mentaiko. Was surprised to receive shrimp tempura instead of fresh shrimp with mayonnaise. The potato salad had a simple taste. The beef tongue was quite tough and the vegetables served with it were mostly inedible due to being too rare. The gratin had a very gooey texture due to the yam, making it difficult to eat, but the taste was good. Waited nearly 30 minutes for the gratin, which seemed to have been forgotten. The staff seemed indifferent and inattentive, often leaving in the middle of taking our order. The drinks we ordered were also incorrect. The sofa was too soft and sank in, making it uncomfortable for someone like me who is short.

This is a review of the dishes I had at the restaurant. The appetizer was delicious. The potato salad was full of eggs and the potatoes were soft and tasty. The seafood and avocado spring rolls had a sauce that was sweet at first but then spicy. I might like it. However, despite being advertised as seafood, there was only salmon. The thick-cut beef tongue steak was quite rare. The grilled Kyoto red chicken with black pepper had crispy skin and tender meat. I had a cocktail with tangerine and peach, both easy to drink but strong. The shrimp mayo with giant prawns was not as expected, just average. Overall, the food was delicious! The best dish was the spring rolls. However, I was bothered by the sticky floor in the restaurant.

The interior of the store was spacious with moody lighting. The drinks were served quickly and the food was delicious.

Well, it's convenient that they make the food efficiently, but the attitude of the staff is quite arrogant. The garlic rice is delicious though.

I usually don't drink in Kyoto, so I didn't know much about the area. I made a reservation and visited this place. The food and prices were quite good for this area. It was cheaper than the usual prices in Temma. However, the floor was sticky, which was a bit of a downside. I hope they can do something about it.

Around 8 pm at night, I visited this restaurant on a weekday and it was quite empty. I ordered dishes like fried chicken, salad, and horse sashimi, and they were all delicious. However, the service from the staff was rude and indifferent, lacking in friendliness. The restaurant was not very clean.

The A lunch, which had a sticky table and lacked explanation, was delicious with its chicken tempura. The flavor was rich and the rice was satisfying. It was reasonably priced at 700 yen. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I could have coffee when I asked for a refill of water. However, the service was disappointing, even though it was a late weekday lunch. If the service had been better, I might have had a more enjoyable experience and been able to fully appreciate the delicious food.

Overall, I felt that the portion size was small. It felt like there was more salad than toppings. The taste was good, just nothing special.

The lunch menu seems to change daily, but it's great that it comes with coffee for only a thousand yen! Looking forward to trying dinner next time!

My friend said this place has good cost performance, so I was curious. When I passed by, I saw on the blackboard that they offer fried chicken and grilled salmon head, so I decided to go in. For 900 yen, you can choose either fried chicken or grilled salmon head, or have both. You can get free refills of rice and miso soup, and also drink coffee or tea. The staff apologized for the self-service for water and coffee, but I actually prefer that. I was happy to see that the salad had a generous amount of French dressing, and there was also plenty of mayonnaise in the back. I don't like salad much, but I enjoy it when it has a good amount of dressing like this. The rice was cooked with enough moisture, which I liked. I don't like dry rice. The grilled salmon head was a bit salty on the surface, but it was just right for me. The soft part around the bones on the face was delicious. The fried chicken was crispy and the meat was tender. The only downside was that the floor was a bit sticky, but overall, I was satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

Every time I come here, I always order the lunch special which includes a daily meat and fish dish. This time, it was red snapper head soup and chicken nanban, all for a stable price of 900 yen! The service seemed even better than usual, but I was disappointed that the red snapper still had scales on it. The red snapper was prepared in a simple way, like deep-fried with salt, rather than the soy sauce-based slightly sweet simmered dish I was expecting. The chicken nanban also seemed to have a disproportionately large coating, giving the impression of being a bit lazy. For 900 yen, it's not terrible, but it felt like the service was a bit lacking. I use this place for lunch often, so I hope they make some improvements.

I have visited this restaurant a few times as it is near my workplace. I ordered the daily meat and fish lunch special. Rice and miso soup are free for seconds (although I didn't take advantage of that). The lunch also comes with self-service coffee, all for under 1,000 yen, which is rare near Kyoto Station. The dishes are well-seasoned and satisfying, making this a reliable place to eat!

At the end of the year, I was looking for a bar near Kyoto Station and was able to make a reservation even just 3 days before. I had the impression that there are many cheap and close izakayas near the station, but just a little further away, there are stylish restaurants too. When I visited on the day of my reservation, the restaurant was full! I was glad I made a reservation. After that, several groups tried to visit but were all turned away. If you plan to visit this area during peak times, making a reservation in advance may be essential. [Order content] - Horse sashimi platter - Potato salad with lots of eggs - French fries - Cheese mentaiko omelette - Yam and mentaiko gratin The horse sashimi was healthy and easy to eat! However, it was disappointing that there was no explanation of the cuts. The potato salad had chunks of potatoes and went well with the eggs. There were many other menu items that caught my eye, such as Kyoto-style gluten dengaku (sold out) and avocado tempura. However, it was quite cold at the table near the entrance. Every time the automatic door opened, cold air rushed in. It was snowing that day and very cold, so I was bothered by the cold air coming in. Also, it seemed like there were only 2 waitstaff in the restaurant, and it didn't seem to be running smoothly. The food, atmosphere, and location were good, so I would like to revisit when it gets warmer.
