This shop is located about a 3-minute walk from Fukuchiyama Station North Exit. It is a few shops down from the main street shopping arcade in front of Fukuchiyama Station, on the 2nd floor of the Ginrei Building. There doesn't seem to be a parking lot (unconfirmed), so it may be convenient to use the free 1-hour parking lot in front of the station or the 2-hour free parking lot at Kohnan. There is a large paid parking lot about a 1-minute walk from the shop, which may also be convenient. When you go up the stairs and turn left, you will see two shops, with the left side being this shop. Inside the shop, there is a counter with 6 seats and two small tables on the left. Orders are made by purchasing a food ticket from a vending machine. The menu includes: Tare Ramen, Shoyu Ramen, Niku Shoyu Ramen, Doro Tori Ramen, Rice (large, medium, small), Beer, Soft drinks. Each ramen comes in regular, large, and extra large sizes. Due to circumstances, I couldn't try the Doro Doro style, so I ordered the Niku Shoyu Ramen. It seemed like they were serving meat rather than chashu, so I added 100 yen for it. The ramen was served a few minutes after ordering. It had the appearance of a traditional clear soy sauce broth. Looking at the rim of the bowl, there was quite a bit of oil floating on top. When I took a sip of the soup, the first thing I noticed was its sweetness. Perhaps the sweet taste came from the meat that was simmered in a sweet and savory sauce. The noodles were thin and straight, with a firm texture. They didn't have a powdery taste and had a unique aroma. The toppings included sliced chashu, diced chashu, menma, green onions, and sweet and savory pork. The sliced chashu was tender and almost falling apart, while the diced chashu added a nice texture. The menma had a subtle flavor but was sweetened. Overall, the soy sauce ramen had a sweet flavor profile. It wasn't as strong as Himeji ramen, but if it was served in Nishiwaki, I might say "Himeji ramen is delicious." The review also mentioned the Doro Tori ramen, which I'm curious about, but I couldn't try it. The Fukuchiyama Station front street shopping arcade has become more lively. This shop is promising, and I look forward to what's to come. Thank you for the meal.
