When I lived in Kyoto, I went there several times, but I visited for the first time in a few years. I went to a yakiniku restaurant that I have loved since long ago, and as always, the cost performance was very good, so it was great. A private room was also available, so I was able to eat in a calm environment, which was nice.

We decided to go eat yakiniku, and managed to make a reservation online with only 1 spot left! We were seated in a lovely private room at the back. The meat was tender, with a slightly fatty texture. Unfortunately, they were already sold out of raw tripe, which was disappointing. Also, the service from one of the staff members, who I think was a part-timer, was a bit off... My husband said he never wants to go back because of it, haha. While we were still eating our bibimbap, they came to ask if they could take away the soup. And when we finally ordered dessert, it never arrived, so we gave up and left without it. It's a shame that these things can ruin the atmosphere when you're out with your family. The meat was delicious though!

I used it for a meal with acquaintances. The quality of the meat was good and it was a cost-effective restaurant. I didn't take many pictures, but the thick tongue, harami, and misuji were all delicious. I think it's a great deal for this quality! The tan-tan noodles at the end were rich and delicious! The interior of the restaurant was spacious and we were able to relax. My acquaintances who went with me also praised the delicious food! Thank you for the meal! I will definitely visit again when I come to Kyoto!

Family barbecue party. Tomorrow is Father's Day. We went a little far and visited the popular barbecue restaurant "Masuichi" in Karasuma, Kyoto. The restaurant, which is renovated from a traditional Kyoto townhouse, has a stylish interior where you can enjoy barbecue slowly. You can order drinks and meat from the touch panel. Thick-cut thigh (lamp) 1580 yen, Kalbi 1080 yen, Lightly roasted loin 1100 yen, Chinese cabbage kimchi 390 yen, Grilled liver 780 yen, Yukke, Chorogi salad (half) 500 yen, Beef bone cold noodles (half) 670 yen, Rice (medium 200g) 270 yen, Upper harami (salt, sauce), Chocolate cake. For drinks, I had a Pilsner, a mega-sized shochu highball for the second drink, and a Midori gin and tonic for the third drink. The meat all had a good amount of marbling, and personally, the lamp was the most delicious. With a discount of 2200 yen, the total cost for our family of four was around 12,000 yen.

Visited Yakiniku Masuichi in Sakaimachi Nishiki, Kyoto! It was about a 5.6-minute walk from Karasuma Station. As I passed through Nishiki Market, I suddenly found this high-class yakiniku restaurant in a residential area. I've been to Masuichi a few times before, but this was my first visit to the Sakaimachi Nishiki branch. The menu I ordered today included: Cucumber Kimchi for 390 yen, Bean Sprout Namul for 500 yen, Masuichi Yukke for 980 yen, Salted Tongue for 1480 yen, Negi Salt Kalbi for 970 yen, and Lightly-seasoned Ribeye for 1510 yen. The portion sizes were quite generous, so I ended up regretting ordering double the amount of Salted Tongue. The Salted Tongue alone was quite filling! I'm not a big fan of green onions usually, but I can eat them with Salted Tongue at Masuichi! That's how delicious it is. The perfect combination of meat and green onions is amazing! The Sakaimachi Nishiki branch has a very spacious interior with numerous table seats. It's such a popular place that reservations are a must. We made a reservation for 7:30 pm, and even then, many groups were being turned away, so reservations are essential between 6-7 pm. Every type of meat was so delicious that it's hard to pick a specialty. We had 3-4 drinks for two people, and the total bill was around 15,000 yen. It was a delightful meal!

During busy times, there may be a slight delay in service, but it is within an acceptable range. There are seating options on the first and second floors, with many private and semi-private rooms, which is convenient for families.

A friend celebrated my birthday ☺️ The interior of the restaurant was stylish and had a calm atmosphere. I liked that our table was in a semi-private area where we didn't feel too bothered by other customers. All the staff were friendly and professional, which left a good impression on me. The ice-cold beer and delicious meat were amazing. I preferred to enjoy the meat with just salt.

The best cost performance beef tongue bento box that I took out, made me think "I want to visit the restaurant someday" and my boss actually took me there as a reward for working hard! The interior of the restaurant had a luxurious atmosphere with partitions for a sense of security. As a reward, I asked my boss for a beef cake worth 6000 yen, which was made by combining artificial flowers and beef slices arranged on a plate with cute drawings and even fireworks. I sent the design for the drawing via Instagram DM and confirmed it over the phone when making the reservation. Everyone was delighted! The beef in the beef cake was all from the tongue, and the thinly sliced pieces wrapped around the bowl were delicious. Many of the members loved tongue, so we tried all the different types. The thick cut tongue was delicious, but the best part was definitely the aged meat! We ordered two types of aged meat that day - I think it was ribeye and sirloin. The server told us to lightly sear it until it turned pink, and when we tried it, it was so smooth and melted in our mouths like... sashimi! We were all excited. The garlic rice served with it seemed unnecessary, the meat was so delicious on its own. The salad and dessert were also tasty. Although the price was a bit high, if you just order the aged meat, it's not that expensive, so I definitely want to come back to try it again!

During the self-restraint period, I used this place for lunch. I called ahead and picked up the food in about 10 minutes, which was perfect timing. The package had a message of gratitude and contained a two-tiered bento box. The first tier had a generous amount of meat stacked on top of each other, with a thin omelette underneath. The meat was delicious, and the combination with the egg was amazing! The second tier had 9 kinds of namul, kimchi, Korean seaweed, and pickles - so luxurious! And all of this for only 950 yen, which is a great deal! I later told a friend who loves beef, and they were excited. It's no wonder Kyoto is known for its high beef consumption! I liked it so much that I bought it again for dinner on another day, and my husband was also thrilled. We also got the Yukgaejang soup, which had just the right amount of spiciness and went well with rice. The restaurant is operating normally, but they are still offering takeout. I'm sure their dine-in meals are delicious too!

We decided to go for yakiniku with people from the company and visited this restaurant! It's about a 5-minute walk from Karasuma Station, and the exterior of the restaurant is very impressive! The inside of the restaurant is spacious and open, and it was quite empty. The yakiniku restaurant had a great atmosphere, but orders are placed using a touch panel! Overall, the food was delicious, but I think the tongue was the best ^_^ I ordered extremely spicy meat, but the spiciness was not to be underestimated! Hmm, it didn't leave a strong impression? It was just delicious in a normal way! Thank you for the meal!

I went to a yakiniku restaurant near Nishiki Market. I ordered my favorite cuts of meat: kalbi, loin, special sagari, shan pepper tripe, teppan, and salted tongue. The yakiniku here is delicious, but the hormone dishes are also excellent. Teppan was good, but the shan pepper tripe had a unique taste I've never had before - crunchy texture with a spicy aftertaste from the shan pepper. Perfect for summer. Ordering is done through a tablet like at a conveyor belt sushi or izakaya, making it convenient to see what you've ordered and how much you're spending. The staff are polite and provide detailed explanations, so I definitely want to come back.

I have been using this restaurant about 4.5 times a year! As the title I gave suggests, the food is consistently delicious and satisfying! The location is convenient and the manager's attention to detail is amazing! It might be better to make a reservation in advance. Among the many yakiniku restaurants in Kyoto, I think this is one of the top ones!! I will continue to visit in the future!

By the way, if you come alone, the cheaper options would be Ebata or Arakawa, while the more expensive choice would be Anzan.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent. I used it to entertain a friend who came from a distant place. All the meat was delicious, especially the thick-cut tongue, which was thick yet tender, full of flavor as you chew, and very tasty. I will definitely use it again.
