I came to Kyoto for the first time in a long time♡ I haven't been here for a while♪ Since Kentan was born, we've just been passing through on our way back to Osaka (cries). It's been 11 years since I last visited. So, I came to my top 3 favorite city, Kyoto! First stop, Lawson♡ It's everywhere, but the exterior of the store had a nice Kyoto vibe. I tried the cafe latte there, which my wife has been raving about. The iced cafe latte had a perfect balance of milkiness and a hint of bitterness from the espresso. It was delicious. I'll definitely be buying it again(^^)

On this day, I went on a tour around the Arashiyama area with my acquaintance, a serious university student named N. It wasn't a date, but N's grandparents are coming to Kyoto soon and he wanted to show them around, as he's not familiar with the tourist spots in Kyoto. He asked me, a Kyoto local, to help him out, promising to treat me to a meal in return. Initially, I was hesitant as writing reviews on websites like Tabelog can be time-consuming. But I remembered that N used to be a biker who would ride alone in the mountains, so I decided to go along with him. N rides a great bike, a 125cc Cygnus. I met N at Hanazono Station, and we discussed his grandparents' age (80 and 75). I was surprised by their age and worried about planning a tour that wouldn't be too strenuous for them. We decided on a leisurely walking tour, exploring places like Kiyomizudera Temple and the Bamboo Grove. We also talked about trying the Hozugawa River Boat Ride and making pottery at a local shop, as it would be a memorable experience for N's grandparents. We rode around on N's bike, stopping at various locations to plan the tour. It was a fun day, full of laughter and good memories.
