The restaurant has 5 counter seats and about 2 tables for 4 people each, so it's not a very large place, but the food is delicious no matter what you order. There is no menu, so some people may feel confused, but if you tell the owner what you want to eat, they will suggest a dish using the ingredients they have. Although it's a sushi restaurant, you can also enjoy grilled dishes, fried dishes, and simmered dishes. The types of sushi may vary depending on the season and availability, but they always serve delicious dishes based on what's fresh at the time, so you can't go wrong whenever you visit!

I visited a sushi restaurant in Fukuchiyama recommended by the owner of a small restaurant in Maizuru that I have been frequenting for a long time. The restaurant had a high-class atmosphere and I was a bit nervous when entering. The interior was small with a counter for 5 seats and two private rooms with sunken kotatsu tables for 2 and 4 people. The restaurant was run by the owner and a female server. There was no menu, just a course meal chosen by the owner, and they served beer, shochu, sake, and highballs. The dishes included squid and cucumber vinegar, tamago tofu (with kabosu peel), assorted sashimi, grilled dried fish, hamo hot pot, fish dumplings, chilled vegetables, squid and asparagus, mackerel sushi, and conger eel and anago rice bowl (a prototype dish). I went with a colleague and we each had about four beers and five highballs, enjoying the food until we were full. The bill was less than 10,000 yen per person, which I thought was reasonable considering the amount of food and drinks we had. I would like to bring a few more people next time. Thank you for the delicious meal, I will definitely visit again!

I was taken to this restaurant by an acquaintance who said they serve delicious sashimi. We had arranged to meet at the restaurant, so I went to the location I found on this site, but it turned out to be a regular residential house. Feeling uneasy, I called the restaurant and found out it was actually in a different place. I'm glad I didn't walk in through the front door (^-^;). The owner explained that the wrong location comes up when you search, but they have contacted this site to correct it, so the current location is accurate. The entrance of the restaurant is in a traditional Japanese style, and the interior is also Japanese-style. It's a small and clean space. There are 7-8 counter seats, 3 sunken kotatsu-style seats for 4 people each, which can be separated by screens depending on the situation. There is also a private sunken seat for 4 people. I had made a reservation for the "omakase" course, so I was curious about what would be served. I couldn't remember the names of each dish, so please judge by the photos I posted. As an ordinary person, I can't compare, but the dishes that came out one after another seemed like they were from a high-class restaurant, and I ended the meal with a small sushi platter feeling full. The price was not exactly cheap for me, but I was satisfied with the quality of the ingredients, taste, and portion. The staff were friendly and I had a pleasant time. Currently, they do not accept credit cards. It's a hidden gem where you can relax in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, so I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

I went to this restaurant with some classmates from my hometown in early spring. It was still cold, so the fish that was served was quite fatty. We had a satisfying meal with sashimi, grilled dishes, steamed dishes, soup, and sushi. It was a bit pricey, but I thought it was nice to dine at a place like this once in a while.

I go to this restaurant from Osaka once a month! The fish dishes are excellent! The chef gladly accommodates special requests not on the menu! The sushi pieces are small, allowing you to enjoy a variety without getting too full, so I recommend it! They serve different dishes each time even if you order omakase from the appetizers, so it's always a new and satisfying experience! I initially found this place through Tabelog, but now I'm grateful to Tabelog for discovering this restaurant!
