The restaurant is located right next to Saga Arashiyama Station, along a main street, making it easy to find. However, the word "organic" stands out more than the restaurant's name, which made me hesitate if this was the right place. When I called to confirm if they were open, the response was a bit cold, so I was worried. But the staff seemed really busy and provided good service when I dined in. I noticed that besides me, there were only foreign customers, and there were only a couple of seats available, so it may be a well-known place for tourists. The staff spoke fluent English and were cool. I went on a weekday around 1 pm, and it took about 25 minutes for my order to arrive, as a large family had just placed their order. The staff kept apologizing, so I didn't mind. If you're in a hurry, like catching a train, it's best to check how long it will take in advance. Now, onto the food. They offer sets like gyoza (not with meat), soy meat karaage set, gyoza + soy meat karaage set, pizza, and vegetable curry with rice. Macrobiotic dishes require a reservation the day before, which I unfortunately couldn't try. I had the soy meat karaage and gyoza set with rice. The gyoza was surprisingly delicious, I even wondered if there was really no meat in it. It had cabbage inside and was served with organic soy sauce and vinegar. The soy meat karaage was a bit salty, making me crave for white rice. It was juicy, crispy, and generous in portion. The salad was made of Chinese cabbage, bell peppers, and mizuna, quite sour with a refreshing yuzu dressing. The rice with carrots, shiitake, and fried tofu was soft and lightly seasoned. The miso soup with enoki mushrooms, daikon, Chinese cabbage, and wakame was light and tasty. Overall, everything was delicious, made with carefully selected ingredients and considering the body's well-being. Despite being fried food, it didn't feel heavy on the stomach. I plan to make a reservation and visit again. The total cost this time was exactly 2000 yen.
