I came to Kameoka City and visited the "Takabashi Kameoka Store" this morning. I ordered my usual "Flame Ramen (extra spicy) with Char Siu". The spicy soup with plenty of pork flavor was delicious as always. The assorted pork slices were tender and flavorful, and the noodles had a nice texture. I added some grated garlic for extra stamina. It was a delicious meal, my 171st ramen of the year.

- Taste: Takabashi Ramen is a traditional Kyushu-style ramen with a rich pork bone soy sauce flavor that pairs perfectly with the soup. The straight noodles are fragrant with wheat. - Atmosphere: The atmosphere is like a local Chinese restaurant. - Cost performance: Takabashi Ramen (regular size) costs ¥760, and a small fried rice costs ¥230.

Ramen Takabashi is located along National Route 9 with a spacious parking lot, making it easy to park. I tried their signature Takabashi Ramen, where you can choose the firmness of the noodles, amount of vegetables, and richness of the broth. The noodles were thin, and I chose the regular broth. The soy sauce-based broth was rich and flavorful, making it delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the Takabashi Ramen set with croquette and small rice. It was served in less than 5 minutes, and when I immediately took a bite of the croquette, it was scorching hot and burned my mouth. The ramen itself was truly THE Kyoto ramen, something I could eat every day. There were many regular customers who seemed to come every day. We arrived early on a weekday, but by the time we left, the restaurant was almost full. It seems they have raised their prices slightly, but it's such a great place that I would like to go back again.

I arrived at the restaurant a little after 13:00, and I was able to park easily in the spacious parking lot. Initially, I was set on ordering the "Takabashi Ramen" as soon as I walked in, but when I saw the menu, I was immediately drawn to the "Miso Ramen". I ordered the Miso Ramen with firm noodles, extra green onions, and extra bean sprouts. The Miso Ramen arrived shortly after, and it was the right choice! The soup was delicious, with a well-balanced miso flavor that wasn't too sweet or salty. The noodles were medium-thin straight noodles, which is different from the thicker curly noodles often found in miso ramen. As I continued eating, the soup seemed slightly diluted, perhaps due to the moisture from the bean sprouts, but it didn't bother me at all. The classic Takabashi Ramen also had a well-balanced soup with no overpowering flavors, so I enjoyed the Miso Ramen just as much. Thank you for the meal.

Today, the clinic was closed, so I took my mother and sister on a drive to see the cherry blossoms. There weren't many in the northern area, so we ended up enjoying the cherry blossoms at Nanasaka River in Kameoka. On the way back, we decided to stop for ramen. I ordered a large portion with extra chashu. It was delicious and filled me up. Thank you for the meal.

On my way back to Nagaokakyo City, I decided to save money on the highway tolls and took the local roads, where I stumbled upon a sign for Takabashi Ramen. Without hesitation, I went in and ordered the basic Takabashi Ramen for 710 yen. This shop seems to be a branch or a spin-off of the famous Takabashi Honten near Kyoto Station, which is known for being open early in the morning. The ramen I had was a clear pork bone soy sauce broth with thin noodles and green onions, a traditional Kyoto style ramen. I devoured it eagerly. The freshness of the bean sprouts and green onions, the careful preparation of the chashu pork, everything was well done and the bowl was delicious.

I visited this restaurant after 8:00 PM, as most shops in Kyoto city close at 8:00 PM due to shortened operating hours. This particular restaurant stays open until 9:00 PM. I parked my car in the large parking lot and ordered the "Takabashi Ramen" (710 yen) with extra green onions and firm noodles at the counter. The bowl was filled with plenty of green onions, topped with slices of chashu pork and bamboo shoots hidden underneath. The soup was a soy sauce base with pork and pork bone, giving it a refreshing soy sauce flavor with the richness of pork bone. The noodles were firm and thin, gradually absorbing the soup and changing to a chewy texture, complemented by the crunchy green onions and bean sprouts. The thinly sliced chashu pork was plentiful and delicious. The ramen had a distinct soy sauce flavor typical of the Asahi (Akira) style, as indicated by the name "Takabashi." Overall, it was a delicious pork bone soy sauce ramen with good value for money and convenient amenities like a parking lot, typical of a chain restaurant.

I came to Kameoka for the first time in about 20 years for some errands. After finishing my business successfully, I decided to have a meal here before heading home. It was a little past 3 pm on a weekday, and there were only two other customers when I arrived. I sat at the counter and ordered the "Takabashi Ramen" in regular size with extra green onions and vegetables. The dish was served promptly, and the soy sauce pork bone soup looked familiar and comforting. I requested extra green onions, and I was grateful that they added them for free. The soup was delicious as always, with a good balance of soy sauce and pork bone flavors. Adding garlic and chili pepper from the table condiments made it even more enjoyable. The noodles were slightly soft, which I personally prefer for this type of soup. The chashu pork was tender and juicy, with just the right amount. I almost finished the tasty soup and left satisfied. It was a reassuring and satisfying meal. The restaurant is conveniently located along a main road with ample parking space for large vehicles. The interior was nothing new, but it had a cool atmosphere that suited the standard bowl of ramen perfectly. Next time I visit this area, I will definitely come back for another delicious and reliable bowl of ramen. Thank you for the meal!

Akira-style ramen, made a mistake by forgetting to order with more white meat... Takabashi Ramen, Kyoto-style ramen with tonkotsu soy sauce broth, at Takabashi Kameoka branch in Kyoto. - Akira-style: A branch of the original Takabashi Honten, serving a soy sauce tonkotsu clear broth Kyoto-style ramen (mistakenly read Honten as Akira). - More white meat: Requested more lean meat instead of fatty meat. - Noodle texture: Normal firmness, with extra fat and a rich soy sauce flavor. - Toppings: Plenty of green onions and bean sprouts. - Additional toppings: Extra meat, and a half-size set (2 slices of thick-cut grilled pork belly and a small bowl of rice). - Grilled pork belly: Thick-cut pork belly marinated in sauce.

I had some errands in Kameoka and decided to visit this ramen restaurant for lunch. I had been curious about it since it is a Kyoto-style ramen shop. I ordered the double topping with soft noodles. The presentation was impressive when the bowl arrived. Before reaching the noodles, I enjoyed eating the bean sprouts. The soup had a strong pork bone flavor that paired well with the noodles, and it was smooth and delicious. The fried rice had a soy sauce flavor that complemented the ramen perfectly. I left feeling full and satisfied. I would definitely want to visit again when I have errands in Kameoka.

I used to visit this place often when I lived in Kameoka because it was close by. I stopped by after a long time. I added extra chashu to my ramen. The ramen is still delicious, light yet flavorful. I also ordered gyoza and fried rice. I am completely satisfied.

The shop received a rating of 3.28 during the visit. When I come to Takabashi, I always order the Gaba-cho set. Gaba-cho is grilled pork belly meat. I don't know why it's called Gaba-cho. It's thick slices of pork belly meat eaten with bean sprouts and green onions. You can also put Gaba-cho on rice to make a bowl. It's a rich and meaty flavor that is quite satisfying. When paired with Takabashi ramen, which is heavy on vegetables and rich in flavor, you can't go wrong. Personally, it's a set that I can't miss when I want to eat a hearty meal for lunch.

Takabashi-san, it's been a few years since I last had it, but hmm? That was my impression. I think I ordered the same Takabashi ramen with extra chashu as before, but when I took a sip of the soup, I was surprised, "Was it this delicious before?" Indeed, back when I used to only eat rich, cloudy tonkotsu and chicken broth, I had a simple taste and thought that ramen wasn't delicious if it wasn't cloudy! (sweat) Furthermore, I felt the saltiness more strongly than I expected. It might have been a good heatstroke prevention in the slightly summery sunshine! (laughs) Thank you for the meal.

I visited a restaurant just before their last order at 8:30 pm during their shortened operating hours. I parked my car in the large parking lot, entered the restaurant, and sat at the counter. I ordered the Takabashi Ramen (715 yen) with firm noodles and extra green onions. In about 5 minutes, a bowl filled with plenty of Kujyo green onions, bamboo shoots, and hidden chashu pork was placed in front of me. When I tried the soup, I could taste the richness and umami of the pork bone broth, along with a sharp soy sauce flavor. The abundant Kujyo green onions enhanced the deliciousness even more, typical of the Kyoto-style clear pork bone soy sauce soup led by Daiichi Asahi. The noodles were thin and straight, with a low water content, allowing the wheat flavor to blend well with the soup. The thinly sliced chashu pork had a mix of white (fatty) and red (meaty) parts, allowing me to enjoy the rich fat and meaty umami, with plenty of it making it feel like a chashu pork noodle dish. This ramen follows the typical style of clear pork bone soy sauce ramen found in Kyoto, and for someone like me who has been eating this type of ramen since childhood, it was a comforting and delicious experience.

This is Takabashi Ramen's Kameoka branch. It was around 5 pm on a weekday when I visited after a long time. Since the name changed from "Daiichi Asahi" to "Takabashi Ramen", this was my first visit. There weren't many customers around 5 pm on a weekday, but a few people were coming in, showing that it's a popular place. The restaurant is located slightly east of Al Plaza along Route 9. The exterior of the restaurant is easily recognizable with a yellow tent sign that says "Takabashi Ramen". There is also a parking lot in front of the restaurant. Inside, there are counter seats, table seats, and it can accommodate many people. The service was good, with a male chef and a female staff member managing the place at this early hour. The ramen menu includes the basic Takabashi Ramen in soy sauce, as well as aged miso, salt, flame (spicy), new flavor (tonkotsu-based), and stamina (garlic + spicy). There are also many side menu options. On this day, I ordered the Takabashi Ramen (regular) for 650 yen plus extra meat for 170 yen. The ramen arrived with a clear, rich soy sauce soup, plenty of green onions, bean sprouts, and generous slices of chashu. It had the classic Kyoto-style soy sauce ramen look. The soup had a strong base of animal broth with a deep soy sauce flavor, making it rich but still easy to drink with a refreshing aftertaste. The noodles were thin and straight, cooked slightly firm to absorb the rich soup flavor. The chashu was a good balance of lean and fatty meat, seasoned with soy sauce to complement the soup well. While I wished there was a bit more chashu, overall, the soup's intensity and the balance of ingredients made it a comforting and reliable taste of Kyoto-style soy sauce ramen. I would like to visit again when I have the chance.

Today I went to Kameoka for work. I decided to look for a restaurant that I could post on Tabelog, and since the weather has gotten a bit cooler, I chose Takabashi Ramen, which is located along the street. This is my second time coming to this restaurant, and I had the image of classic ramen in mind. It was around noon and the place was quite busy. I looked at the menu and decided to go with the popular Takabashi Ramen for 650 yen (regular size). Since I thought that wouldn't be enough, I also ordered a side of rice for 150 yen, a favorite among people in Kansai region. After a short wait, my order arrived. I slightly regretted asking for extra green onions and bean sprouts when ordering, as well as choosing the rice. When the ramen arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the presentation. As for the taste, it was a traditional, classic ramen flavor - like a perfect comedy duo, it was a great match. Although it may be hard to understand, it was a taste of the orthodox. It was delicious as expected! Normally, I never leave a single grain of rice, but I regretted ordering a regular size of rice. I couldn't finish it. Unless you have a big appetite, a small size of rice is enough. My stomach was full and I'm ready to work hard in the afternoon. Thank you for the meal!

In the area around Kameoka Station, if you're looking for a delicious and quick meal with parking, how about ramen in Kyoto? Let's check out "Takabashi Ramen" - wait, the old name was "Daiichi Asahi"! Daiichi Asahi used to be a big name in Kyoto ramen. They offer the service of adjusting noodle firmness, as well as adding extra bean sprouts and green onions for free. I asked for max bean sprouts and green onions, and it came with so much chashu that it almost buried the bowl. The soup is surprisingly light, with no thick tonkotsu feel. You can also adjust the flavor for free, and I probably could have made it a bit stronger. The chashu is lean and there are many slices - maybe 6 or 7? Not too fatty, so you can eat a lot without feeling heavy. It felt like a healthy ramen. After a long day out, I appreciated the lightness of this ramen. It felt like I had eaten a lot of bean sprouts!

I went to Takabashi Ramen in Kameoka City. The exterior of the restaurant is very eye-catching. The menu includes Takabashi Ramen, Aged Miso Ramen, Takabashi Shinsen (White), and Flame Ramen. There are also many side dishes and set menus available. I ordered Takabashi Ramen with a Gavacho set. I asked for the noodles to be firm, with normal flavor and no extra toppings. The soup has a blend of the richness and sweetness of pork bone and the gentleness and sweetness of soy sauce. It is overall light but packed with flavor. The medium-thin noodles, ordered firm, have a slight chewiness that complements the soup well. The topping of char siu is flavorful and has a nice texture. It feels like a traditional Chinese soba, which is a delightful experience. The Gavacho set includes char siu cooked in a sweet and savory sauce, which pairs perfectly with rice. The dish is generously topped with green onions and bean sprouts, making it a satisfying meal. Thank you for the delicious and filling Takabashi Ramen.

Today's lunch was ramen! I finally visited Takabashi Ramen in Kameoka, Kyoto. I signaled right and entered the shop. I checked the menu and ordered the Takabashi Ramen, with extra bean sprouts and a side of fried chicken. The order arrived promptly, with all the toppings floating in the flavorful tonkotsu soup. The soup was deliciously refreshing and the noodles were smooth. The tender chashu had a nice chew to it, and the fried chicken had a strong flavor that complemented the meal. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and left feeling satisfied.

We had lunch with our seniors at a ramen shop!! We all ordered ramen: regular size for 650 yen, large size for 850 yen, and aged miso ramen for 750 yen (regular) and 950 yen (large). We also shared some fried chicken. I was expecting the ramen to be rich and flavorful, but it turned out to be surprisingly light?? Maybe I should have asked for it to be richer when ordering (°_°) The fried chicken had a strong flavor though!! Next time, I'll order it rich.
