I had been taught by my son about this place for a while... I tried to visit last week, but it seemed to be temporarily closed, so I tried again. It was a calm day with many people out on a holiday. This time, I made sure to contact and visit to avoid any mistakes. It is located in Koya, and if you go north on the street east of the post office for a while, you will find the shop on the left. They also offer take-out bento boxes, so it seems to be a convenient shop. The shop has a small feel to it, with a slightly stylish taste. It seems like a place that would look good on Instagram. There are quite a variety of lunch set menus, which is a pleasant dilemma. Most of them are under 1,000 yen, which is quite nice. I ordered the C lunch (shrimp fry and hamburger) for 980 yen, and my wife ordered the B lunch (shrimp fry and omurice) for 900 yen. I could hear the hamburger being kneaded after we ordered, so it seems quite handmade, which is nice. First, a green salad was served, which was refreshing and delicious. Each lunch was served in about 10 minutes after ordering. The C lunch had lightly battered shrimp fry with plenty of tartar sauce, and the demiglace hamburger was juicy when cut. It also came with shredded cabbage, a croquette-like dish with tomato sauce inside, and tamagoyaki. Carrot marinade, Western-style white shimeji mushrooms, carrot and potato salad made it a hearty meal. It's healthy and seems to appeal to women. The taste is gentle with flavors that everyone likes, such as demiglace and tartar sauce. The shrimp had a light batter and was thick, which was good. The only disappointing part was the croquette-like dish, which had a tomato-based sauce in the batter and felt like a fried food with no filling. It seemed unnecessary. The B lunch had a large omurice (ketchup rice with ham and onions), shrimp fry, and plenty of tartar sauce. The side dishes were the same as the C lunch. The omurice had a rich buttery taste and was quite delicious. In conclusion, it was a chic Western-style restaurant that was full of vegetables and perfect for women. I was impressed by my son for finding such a place. It became full while we were eating, and there were a few groups waiting. Take-out orders were also quite popular. The take-out bento box is 880 yen, which is more affordable. The taste was good, and the fact that you can eat for under 1,000 yen shows the high cost performance of the place. It seems like the restaurant hasn't been open for that long, but it looks like it could become very popular once the pandemic is over... 3.6
