I purchased two items based on the recommendations listed on the boat outside the entrance: "Bologna Sausage Entrusted Burger" for ¥230 and "Strawberry Mini Danish Bread" for ¥200. The Bologna sausage burger was more like a sandwich with a soft texture. The slices of Bologna sausage were delicious, and the simple taste of lettuce made it very enjoyable. The strawberry mini Danish bread is a cute-sized Danish bread. It's no wonder it's popular! The shop is located in a residential area near Hiroshawa Pond in Saga Arashiyama. I had been curious about this shop since it was featured in LEAF in February 2020. The shop has a nice atmosphere, with the master who trained at Paul Bocuse Daimaru Kyoto store doing the baking, and the beautiful wife taking care of the customers. The address is 76 Sagahirosawaikeshitacho, Ukyo-ku, Kyoto City, Hihtsmargo 1F.

Located in the residential area of Hirosawa Ike Minami, this bakery is quietly tucked away. I bought some pastries in the morning - croissants, strawberry Danish, baguettes, pizza, ham and mayo, etc. They look nice, but taste quite average. The dough is... What do you think? Thank you for the meal.

Soft, sweet-smelling, with a delightful fluffy texture, this bread is a treat.

This is a bakery located a little south of Arashiyama, near Hirozawa Pond. It used to be where Pan no Mori Gugugu was located. The entrance of the building, with gray tiled walls and a dark brown tent roof, gives off a somewhat subdued vibe. There is a handmade bread sign hanging outside, so you won't miss it. The interior is not very spacious, but there are various types of bread displayed in small quantities, surprisingly abundant. The clean, white-based space is almost the same as the previous shop. There are three counter seats and a peek hole in the shape of a loaf of bread. I had breakfast inside the shop. I tried the croissant, tomato olive, banana, and coffee. The croissant had a crispy texture and a buttery flavor inside. It was really nice. The tomato olive, recommended on the menu, had a crispy crust and a soft interior with a salty olive accentuating the spread of tomato flavor. The banana had a caramelized surface, a crispy texture, and a smooth custard and banana cream inside, offering a gentle sweetness. The coffee had a fragrant aroma and a slightly bitter taste, perfect for kickstarting the morning.

■Visit date: December 10, 2017■Items received:・Edamame and bacon torte・Spinach and bacon focaccia■MEMOVisited on December 10, 2017 at the Panfesta at Aeon Mall Kyoto Gojo. There were over 10 shops gathered at the event. The purpose of our visit to Aeon today was to purchase bread from this festival. My wife and I checked out various options and ultimately chose the following two:Edamame and bacon torteSpinach and bacon focacciaBoth breads are advertised as great accompaniments to alcohol. After trying them, I realized they would indeed go well with drinks. I would love to visit the store next time.■MEMOhttp://ay-style.net/?p=28282
