I previously praised a shop near Katsura Station, but this time I want to highlight a shop closer to my home, just a 10-minute walk away. I had been curious about this shop for a while, as they used to have a sign outside saying they sourced ingredients from Noto, but that seems to have changed now. The menu is not extensive, but rather limited, possibly to focus on quality. The sashimi was fresh and delicious, clearly carefully selected. Other dishes were also expertly prepared and tasty, such as the rolled omelette and tuna roll. The shop is run by a couple and a few part-time staff, who provide great service and create a nice atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail in each dish. This is definitely a good shop worth revisiting.

It's been a while since I went. I want to go again... The grilled tororo (grated yam) dish was delicious.

Next to Matsuo Taisha Station, there is a shop behind the FamilyMart where I often go when I feel like having a beer. They offer Kirin draft beer and Asahi and Kirin bottled beer. The shop is run by a shy-looking owner and a cheerful lady. This time, I was in the mood for "just beer," so I ordered some dishes that would go well with beer. I ordered pumpkin and bacon cheese bake, chicken tempura, Nagoya-style grilled chicken wings, edamame, dried fish with grated daikon, fish dumplings, grated yam fragrance grilled dish, chicken and burdock rice, and bite-sized pork cutlet. This shop has a wide variety of menu items, which I appreciate. One thing I really like is that the edamame is served hot and delicious. The chicken tempura has a spicy flavor that goes well with beer. The grated yam fragrance grilled dish is made with grated nagaimo mixed with okra and cooked on a hot plate, with an egg on top. The grilled part has a delicious aroma. The fish dumplings are made with fish and are light and tasty. The chicken and burdock rice is elegant and makes a great ending to the meal. The standout dish this time was the Nagoya-style grilled chicken wings! The miso flavor is well infused, and the crispy grilled skin is delicious. I definitely want to go back for this dish. Thank you for the meal.
