Chocolate cake 150 yen, cheese pie 150 yen, nut tart 150 yen. These are all 1/4 size. A whole cake is 600 yen! On the way back from Kirari's tsukemen, we stopped by the Fushimi Otesuji shopping street near the area. The shop is a bit away from the shopping street, about 1 minute. It seems like the shop is run by the owner alone, and the menu only had the 3 types I bought today, but they all looked delicious! Each piece was 150 yen, so I didn't hesitate to buy all 3 types! Even if you buy a whole cake, it's only 600 yen! What a business effort by the owner in this day and age! Also, it seems like they have cream puffs for only 50 yen on Sundays. When I got home, my wife and I ate them! Regardless of the price, they were delicious! Extremely delicious! I think this shop should be more well-known. Next time, I want to buy a whole cake and enjoy it thoroughly! I will definitely come back again! Thank you for the meal!

It's so cheap that it makes you laugh! The cakes have a gentle flavor. Buying a whole cake costs 600 yen, while one piece costs 150 yen. On Sundays, there's a special 50 yen cream puff. There are many varieties available like tarts, cakes, and pies. They have a gentle taste that makes you want to have them as a snack every day. There are no cream-based or mousse cakes.

I went to a famous pastry shop in this town. Can we call this confectionery in the photo nougat tart? It costs 600 yen for a whole. It has a crispy cookie base texture, a caramel part with a nice aroma and chewiness, a mild sweetness, and a taste of nuts mixed together. This confectionery seems to be the shop's specialty. Although it's not sweet and sour, it says "Apple Court" on the shop sign. It's the owner's sense. It goes perfectly with morning coffee.

Small shop. There were tarts and such, but the best cost-performance was the 50 yen cream puff. It had a nostalgic and gentle taste of custard cream. I'll definitely buy a large amount next time!

Is this price okay? It's so cheap that I'm worried. The tart was crispy and light. The cheesecake was also fluffy and light. It's nice that it's located along the street and you can easily buy at the counter.

I moved to a new neighborhood and heard there was a cheap tart shop nearby, so I decided to check it out. Since it's autumn, they had chestnut tart, banana pound cake, gateau au chocolat, berry tart, and many more. I bought some as a gift and they were absolutely delicious! I will definitely go back again. ^_^

This is my second visit. Last time, I had the nut tart, but I actually found the cheesecake and chocolate cake on the menu to be even better than the signature nut tart! Next time, I want to try the cream puffs too! My chocolate-loving second-grade son is also a big fan! I'm sorry I didn't take any photos. It was so delicious that I only remembered after finishing it.

I bought a nut tart. It was affordable at ¥600 for one whole tart, and I thought it would make a good everyday treat for my mother who loves caramel and nuts. - Hard! I was pleasantly surprised by how hard the caramel was, as the knife couldn't cut through it (laughs). The tart crust was also firm, so it didn't crumble easily. The nougat was rich, and the tart part had the perfect cookie-like hardness that I enjoy. As someone who can't stand the softness of florentine wafer, this was a big plus for me. - Nuts When I took a bite, I was surprised by the abundance of walnuts. I had thought that almonds would be the main nut used! The nuts included in the tart were a large amount of walnuts, almond slices, and what seemed to be cashews. Since the almond aroma was barely noticeable, I thought it would be nice if they added more almonds for a better balance. - Tart crust Another thing, I couldn't smell any buttery aroma. I had noticed this even when I was at the store, there was no buttery scent. I wondered if they used salad oil instead of butter. This made me feel like they were able to keep the cost down. Considering the price and taste, it's perfect for everyday enjoyment at home. However, if you plan to bring it to someone else's place, you might want to add a little something extra. Increasing the amount of almonds and enhancing the buttery aroma would make me even happier.

The writer visited the shop called "Apricot" in Fushimi, Kyoto, after indulging in food and drinks at various other places. The shop was a bit difficult to find, tucked away in a narrow alleyway. They purchased a nut tart without a clear name, but it was delicious with a crispy crust, crunchy nuts, and a not-too-sweet caramel sauce. The shop seemed popular among women, as it was featured in a magazine. The writer recommends trying the seasonal tarts as well. The shop offers a variety of flavors and the price of 600 yen for a nut tart was considered reasonable given the generous amount of nuts. Overall, the tart was surprisingly tasty and could be enjoyed as a snack or even a side dish with drinks. The writer suggests making a stop at Apricot if visiting Fushimi or Inari.

In the shopping street of Naya-machi, there is a market at the back of the street where I purchased from. The store looked a bit shady, but I bought Shoe Ice (50 yen) and Walnut Tart (around 650 yen). I ate the Shoe Ice in the car immediately after purchase, and although it was cheap, the taste was quite light. I didn't have high expectations for the Walnut Tart, but when I ate it at home, it was crunchy and delicious! It wasn't very thick, but it was a nice snack to enjoy. On that day, only Walnut Tart was available at the store, but I found out that there are various other tarts available, so I plan to visit the Naya-machi shopping street again to check them out.
