The ferry from Otaru arrived at Maizuru Port 10 minutes earlier than scheduled. I called the restaurant to confirm if it was okay to arrive around 10 pm, and they said it was fine. I went in and ordered the Tianjin rice and Taiwanese cold noodles set. The Tianjin rice looked beautiful and tasted delicious, with the eggs being particularly well done. The Taiwanese cold noodles were not spicy but still enjoyable. Overall, the food was satisfying. I made it back to Kurashiki safely after a few breaks along the way. I gained 7kg from eating too much in Hokkaido, so I'll be taking it easy for a while.

I went to a Taiwanese restaurant in Ayabe City. I have used it several times before, but there are hits and misses depending on the menu. The stir-fried dishes are okay. Dishes like shrimp chili and mixed vegetables in sauce are okay. But the dumplings, well... disappointing. The fried rice is fluffy but too salty. The fried chicken is huge, but a bit bland in taste. Maybe it's because the prices are cheap. The service has improved from before. They were full of smiles, so that was good.

I stopped by for lunch. The parking lot is in front of the store. The store has a cozy feel like a home. When you enter the entrance, there are counter seats and tables and tatami rooms in the back. This time, I ordered a ramen set with fried rice and tantanmen. The fried rice was delicious - the texture of the rice was just right and the flavor was well-balanced, just the way I like it. The tantanmen had a classic sesame flavor. I thought it wasn't too spicy, but I started sweating halfway through. The staff at the store were friendly and provided great service. The cost performance is excellent.
