I had to check it out, as they focus on creating a space where you can enjoy your time and yourself. The interior, reminiscent of a Korean cafe, was incredibly cute. I visited on a Saturday around 2 pm, and it was quite popular, especially among women. ■I tried the Red Tea Chicken Pastrami Waffle for 1,780 yen (tax included), which is a new, hearty lunch menu item exclusive to the Arashiyama location. It came with a drink, and I chose a matcha latte. The dish included a waffle, fried potatoes, salad, homemade pickles, bacon, and a sunny-side-up egg. The crispy waffle with smoky duck, sweet maple syrup, and all the sides was delicious. On the last day of a 2-night, 3-day trip to Kyoto, it looked like it was going to rain. I arrived at a cute cafe near Arashiyama Station 15 minutes before it opened at 11:00. I had warm waffles topped with vanilla ice cream. The ice cream melted quickly on the waffles, which had a coarse texture due to the incorporated sugar, making them quite sweet. The hot cocoa came with fluffy cream on top. The classic waffle cost 1,380 yen, and all waffle menu items come with a drink included. The drink options include cafe latte, iced cocoa, and hot cocoa.

The new space is spacious with a counter (6 seats) and tables (12 seats), and even has a cute kids' room at the back. The cafe is very stylish and lovely, with a glass window that can be fully opened, creating a bright and open atmosphere. I tried the Waffle Chicken for 1780 yen, which features crispy Kyoto waffles topped with crispy fried chicken. The combination of sweet waffles and savory chicken was delicious. The waffles had a nice crunch, and the plate also came with salad, fried potatoes, and bacon and eggs. The bacon was thick and crispy, adding a nice texture to the dish. It also came with a set drink. I also tried the Seasonal Plate with strawberries for 1650 yen, which included plain Kyoto waffles topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and strawberries. The waffles had a nice crunch from the caramelized sugar. You can also get the chocolate-loaded Kyoto waffles for takeout at this store, which seemed to be quite popular. The store has a few free parking spaces, making it convenient for those driving. Highly recommended!
