I toured Kyoto with my elderly mother, renting a taxi for the day. It was hot! My mother was sweating profusely. For lunch, we decided to try Yudofu since we were in Kyoto, leaving it up to the driver to choose a restaurant. He took us to a place frequented by period drama actors, which had a calming atmosphere. We had Mozuku vinegar, simmered wheat gluten, Hamo fish with vinegar, Yudofu, Kumiage Yuba, Chawanmushi, rice, miso soup, and pickles. The tofu was delicious and smooth, perfect for our tired bodies. Personally, I found the Kumiage Yuba to be the most delicious dish this time.

I used it for lunch after visiting the Eisho-in temple. The menu is also abundant. The freshly made yuba was delicious. I want to try the chef's choice meal next time.

I was recommended to try Kyoto cuisine for Kyoto locals, so I was taken there by a taxi driver. I was a little worried because I'm not a big fan of yuba, but I was able to eat it without any problem. It was very delicious. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm, and I was able to enjoy my meal leisurely. The staff were also very welcoming. It was my first time trying Kyoto tea during my trip from Shizuoka to Kyoto. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again when I go to Kyoto.
