At the recommendation of a friend, I visited this restaurant to try their naan. I found that eating naan with curry was delicious. I chose the Larki set this time, which included both naan and rice. I selected seafood and chicken curry, opting for a "sweet" flavor as I don't like spicy food. Both the chicken and seafood curries were filled with plenty of ingredients and had a satisfying taste. Next time, I want to try a regular spiciness level. The curry is available in pork as well, and I plan to try the daily set with a larger portion. The naan in the set is served in quarters and has a soft, slightly sweet taste. It is delicious when dipped in curry. I will try the larger portion set next time. The Tandoori chicken was juicy and satisfying, with a slightly sweet flavor. For drinks, I chose lassi after the meal, which was refreshing and had a strong yogurt taste. When I crave naan again, I will definitely return.

Today, we stopped by on our way back from Kyoto. This time, we ordered the Larki Set with Naan Roll! The cheese on the cheese naan here is always so generous! The Naan Roll we ordered for the first time was exquisite and very filling. Both my husband and I are full and satisfied!

The rating may seem low, but due to the nature of Tabelog, this 5-point scale includes everything from takeout fast food to three-star restaurants, so it doesn't mean it was bad. It was good. The portion was bigger than I expected and I was satisfied. The staff were friendly. The restaurant seems to have been renovated from a snack or cafe. I was surprised that the drinks were free refills from PET bottles. I will visit again if I am nearby.

Even though the main reason is to see her, I still plan to visit other places and do various activities on the way there and back. Today, I drove to my mother's place in my Mini instead of my usual car, which made the drive easier. I recently changed to winter tires, but my Mini had been sitting in the garage for three months, so it was nice to take it out for a drive and show it the city. On the way back, I felt tired and decided to stop for dinner in Kameoka. I wasn't sure what I wanted to eat, but I ended up choosing an Indian curry restaurant that looked popular. The menu was extensive, and I opted for the Lal Qila Set, which included two types of curry (spicy seafood and spinach), salad, tandoori chicken, rice, and unlimited naan with a drink. All of this cost only 1280 yen, which was quite affordable for dinner. The curry was delicious, and the naan was simple yet flavorful, especially when dipped in the curry sauce. I even ended up ordering an additional small portion of naan, but was surprised when a large portion was served. Despite the size, I managed to finish it all. The tandoori chicken was also tasty, and I enjoyed dipping it in the different sauces. The restaurant started filling up quickly, but the fact that they had a parking lot and were located along Route 9 in Kameoka made sense why it was so popular. I was satisfied with the meal and the price, and I will definitely be back to try their spicier curry options next time.

Curry is delicious, and freshly baked naan is also very tasty! There are many curry restaurants, but so far, Little India is the best!

The popular restaurant had a constant flow of customers. The naan bread was sweet and delicious. Both the mild and spicy curries were tasty. The staff were all friendly and provided excellent service.

The curry and plain naan were very nice. Today I had a seafood and spinach dish with rice at the restaurant. The rice was a bit too watery for my taste, I would have preferred it a bit drier to better complement the curry.

We stopped by on our way to Rurikei Onsen. The location is convenient along the national highway with parking available. We arrived 15 minutes before opening, and the owner came out to apologize for not being able to let us in yet. The service was very polite and we had a pleasant time throughout. I ordered the "C Lunch ¥1,250" with a cheese naan for an additional ¥300. My wife and eldest daughter had the "A Lunch ¥850" while my second and third daughters had the "Kids Set ¥550". The cheese naan was delicious with plenty of cheese, and the regular naan was crispy and fragrant with a different kind of deliciousness. According to other reviewers, the curry was not too spicy, so I chose the "4 Spicy" level, which was already quite spicy! When I tried a bite of the "1 Spicy" for kids, it was hardly spicy at all. Next time, I'll go for around "3 Spicy". Overall, the curry and everything else seemed to be tailored to Japanese tastes. It's family-friendly, but curry enthusiasts might find it a bit lacking. However, we were very satisfied.

I wonder how many times I've been here? I've been quite a few times. Most of the staff are foreigners. Their Japanese is generally good. Everyone is very kind. The curry is delicious, of course, but my favorite is the naan bread. Also, the tandoori chicken is delicious! The photo seems to show it topped with spinach puree. The usual one is red, but this one was also delicious. And the wonderful thing about this restaurant is that they offer to pack up any leftovers for you to take home! When I ordered a set that came with two types of naan, I couldn't finish it all. Then the staff asked me, "Would you like to take it home?" and wrapped it up in aluminum foil, put it in a plastic bag, and brought it to me. When I warm it up in the toaster at home, it's still delicious. I usually order the set, but next time I might try ordering various items a la carte.

This shop near Kameoka City Hall. Indian curry shops have been popping up everywhere lately, but this place is hands down the best! Especially the huge naan bread! The dough is slightly sweet, but with salted butter on top that melts and creates a delicious mix of sweetness and saltiness! Even though the naan is huge, you can easily gobble it up. If you happen to have leftovers, they will wrap it up in foil for you. Very thoughtful! The curry is also delicious, tailored slightly to Japanese tastes making it easy to eat and tasty! For lunch, they also offer a complimentary drink. I recommend the lassi! It's a refreshing yogurt drink. It's perfect for after a meal! During lunchtime, there are many city hall employees dining here. It gets quite busy. There is plenty of parking available so no worries there. The staff are mostly from India, but they speak Japanese just fine. I highly recommend this place!

Today, I went to a Indian curry restaurant called "Little Indian" in Kameoka, Kyoto! The interior of the restaurant was not overly exotic, but had a simple and cozy atmosphere. You could see the kitchen from the back of the room through a glass window, and when I pointed my camera, the chef even posed for me, which was a nice touch! I ordered the Special Curry Set, and was surprised by how big the Naan bread was - it was my first time trying it. The curry was spicy, but you could choose the level of spiciness. It was flavorful and delicious with the right amount of spices. The Naan bread was slightly sweet and paired well with the curry. You can also get free refills of Naan. The staff consisted mainly of foreign (possibly Indian) individuals, with only one Japanese woman that I saw. They were all friendly, polite, and provided excellent service. The combination of delicious curry and great customer service makes this place a favorite, and I will definitely be going back again.

The portions are quite generous, so finishing it all may be challenging. Takeout is available, so feel free to ask. The flavors can be a bit monotonous, so you might get a little tired of it halfway through. But you'll definitely leave with a full stomach. The staff is polite and the atmosphere is cozy. Plus, being next to the police station ensures a safe environment.
