I had a special selection of 5 types of meat, Tecchan, Korean seaweed and yam salad, and various other meats. It was incredibly delicious. Maybe it was because I had just finished climbing, but my body's meat absorption gauge was off the charts. In particular, when I tried the triangular pork, my gauge went haywire. It had a melting texture and the savory oil flavor spread throughout my mouth instantly. It went perfectly with my highball, and I couldn't resist ordering more meat. The quality was so good that I could keep eating in an endless loop. I will definitely revisit when I'm in the area.

I felt like eating yakiniku at a yakiniku restaurant with many seats in front of the station in Kyoto at night, so I decided to go alone. I ordered Ichibo, Tetchan, Upper Mino, Kimchi assortment, and cold noodles. Tetchan was delicious, but the others were just okay. I wish the Kimchi assortment had more spiciness, as it was too sour. The cold noodles didn't look very appealing either.

This is a yakiniku restaurant located right next to the MK Taxi at the 8th exit of Kyoto Station. The retro taste is incredibly delicious. We visited on a Friday at 17:45 after making a reservation online. There were three of us: myself, Agent Ogasawara, and Nabe-chan. We immediately ordered two large bottles of beer for 600 yen each, along with a plate of namul and kimchi. We decided to order individual items instead of a set because it only comes with 2 pieces of meat. We ordered various cuts like kalbi, top loin, harami, top mino, ichibo, and regular loin. We also added about 4 more large bottles of beer and I think we ended up with 2 bottles of red wine. We ate and drank a lot and had a blast. It was so delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Yakiniku restaurant located on the south side of JR Kyoto Station. Visited for the first time on a weekday night. It's a large restaurant with two floors. We sat at a spacious semi-private table. Beer (large bottle) 578 yen, Oolong tea 165 yen, Ichibo (ribeye) 891 yen, Harami (skirt steak) 825 yen, Salt sauce hormone assortment 968 yen, Chijimi (Korean pancake) 528 yen, Daikon kimchi 363 yen, Assorted fresh vegetables 473 yen, Rice (large) 275 yen, Cold noodles 880 yen. Total: 5946 yen. It was very delicious and reasonably priced.

I decided to go eat yakiniku and searched around Kyoto Station. I found this place which seemed reasonably priced. I didn't think too much about it, but it was close to the station so it was easy to get to, even in the heat. Many reviews mentioned that it was reasonably priced, and it was indeed! Especially the "Sushi Sushi Set" which included a drink and was a good deal. The drink options were cheap but limited. I think all soft drinks were the same price, but the one with the most quantity was the oolong tea. The Sushi Sushi Set included a mixed plate (as shown in the picture), choice of beer or oolong tea, soup (wakame seaweed, egg, or vegetable), rice, kimchi, and namul set. The beef tongue had a generous amount of salt on the surface, making it quite salty. The soft drinks were around 150 yen but the portion was quite small! The meat was tasty for the price. So, I think it's a good place to enjoy yakiniku at a reasonable price.

I remembered the name of my favorite singer and took shelter from the rain by entering a store. As soon as I entered the store, I was guided to a table and handed a menu. The menu seemed to have a lot of services for women. I decided to order a variety of items that caught my eye, and they were all delicious. Despite eating quite a bit, the prices were reasonable and it was a very nice restaurant. When it was time to leave and the rain was heavy, they offered me an umbrella to use, providing excellent service. I will definitely visit again to return the umbrella.

Just a short walk from JR Kyoto Station, on the Yotsubashi side, is this restaurant. While surrounded by various dining options, this place stands out with its spacious interior. We visited with four friends from work and were seated in a clean and cozy semi-private room. We opted for the 5000 yen per person course with all-you-can-drink. Starting with a selection of kimchi and namul, we were then served various cuts of meat like belly, hormone, and loin, all tender and delicious. The portions were generous, and the inclusion of makgeolli in the all-you-can-drink menu was a nice touch. We were even able to choose our favorite meat for a second round. The meal ended with a satisfying kimchi stew and fruits. Overall, the food was great, the value was excellent, and it's a perfect spot for gatherings. They also offer a set menu for around 2000 yen without drinks. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Based on a recommendation from a friend, I visited a restaurant located a little south of Kyoto Station's Hachijo exit, which has been around for quite some time and had caught my attention. The restaurant, called "Omi," is quite spacious with counter seats, table seating, and sunken kotatsu seating. This time, I made a reservation for a table only. We ordered salad, tongue salt, a selection of five special meats, a combination of hormone meats, and some additional items, finishing with chige soup. The beer was ice cold and delicious. The meat was tender, marinated in a rich sauce, and the hormone meats were properly prepared without any unpleasant odors. I'm not a big fan of liver, but it was odorless and easy to eat. The chige soup was moderately spicy, with a seafood taste that was addictively delicious. And most importantly, it was affordable! Definitely going back for more!

The good smell coming from Kyoto Station's Hachijo Higashi Exit is from the yakiniku restaurant called "Jus Jus". I decided to have yakiniku by myself after a long time. I waited for four people and then sat at the counter. I ordered the Jus Jus set for 2560 yen, which included various cuts of meat, kimchi, namul, egg soup, extra rice, and a glass of beer. I also ordered the special cold noodles for 800 yen, a bottle of beer for 480 yen, and a small bottle of hot sake for 280 yen. The meat in the Jus Jus set was decent, but the cold noodles were a disappointment. It seemed like the staff was understaffed as they were slow in taking orders. The restaurant is not bad overall, but they may need to reconsider their staff training and service. They might be relying on their location near Kyoto Station and affordable prices to attract customers, but a little more effort could make a difference. It's a shame.

A yakiniku restaurant located near Hachijo-guchi at Kyoto Station. The interior has a Showa-era atmosphere typical of a popular yakiniku restaurant. It is quite spacious and can accommodate up to 60 people for parties. The meat is delicious and reasonably priced. Considering the location, the cost performance is quite good. However, the service is a bit disappointing.

I made a reservation for Monday at 8:00 PM. There were a decent number of customers. The salted tongue was sold out, but the harami and mino were delicious.

The set meals are a great deal! For around 2800 yen, you can get kimchi, three kinds of namul, rice, soup, beer, and the meat shown in the first picture. It was a good value. The second picture shows a grilled meat set that was delicious, costing around 3600 yen.

The sirloin steak was delicious. The set menu is a good deal! The namul was tasty. The kimchi was so-so. There were more customers than expected, and the staff seemed a bit flustered, so some of our orders didn't arrive and we had to cancel them at the checkout. I wouldn't necessarily go back, but the drinks are cheap overall and the set menu is quite filling, so it might be recommended for those looking to eat affordably.

Many people have written about it, but the cost performance is excellent (quality of meat, price). I can give it a 2.5 rating because I am satisfied with it. However, the customer service towards capacity is lacking, so sometimes the orders can be slow and some items may not come out. There are not many options for alcoholic drinks, and even the draft beer is lukewarm. The shochu selection is also limited to just one type. Lastly, the reason I rated it low is because of the rice! I'm sure that rice wasn't cooked on the same day! The restaurant staff should understand this. If they cannot provide delicious food, it's better to have it sold out.
