On the first floor of the accommodation "Hotel Tango" on August 31, 2022, there was a restaurant where I could hear lively voices from the rooftop beer garden. The sake was "Kouda", with a crisp taste that goes well with fresh fish such as squid, amberjack, and seared Spanish mackerel. The sake flowed smoothly. The sake cups were also beautiful, enhancing the experience of enjoying a meal at a seaside inn. The deep-fried seaweed was delicious, but my stomach reached its limit and I couldn't order anything else. I regret not being able to order more if I had brought my son along.

I stayed at Fairfield by Marriott Amanohashidate and used this nearby restaurant. It was a Friday night, and by 6:30 pm, it was already packed, showing how popular it is. Located on the first floor of the hotel, this casual izakaya offers drinks and food for two people for less than 6,000 yen, making it a budget-friendly option. With many keep bottles displayed, it seems to be popular among locals as well. The dishes were all delicious, with generous portions, and reasonably priced. The only downside might be the several washing machines placed in front of the store, which could affect its appearance. Other than that, I think it's a satisfying restaurant. The simmered fish head dish was especially tasty.

You can enjoy fresh live crabs here! There are two types of crab miso available, providing a very satisfying experience. It's amazing to dip the crab meat in the miso and eat it shabu-shabu style! Grilled crab is also recommended, so be careful not to eat too much raw crab at the beginning and run out! The restaurant has a traditional ryokan atmosphere and you can even stay overnight. There is a bathhouse across the street, so it's nice to relax in the bath before enjoying the crab with a beer. The dining area is spacious enough for large groups to have a party without any issues!

The restaurant is located near the Hamacho intersection in Miyazu, inside the "Hotel Tango" complex. I had the opportunity to try the "Bouillabaisse Ramen Summit" event held at Hotel & Resorts Kyoto Miyazu. The event featured a bouillabaisse ramen developed by the Marine High School, who wanted to make use of discarded fish. This ramen can be enjoyed at 8 local shops in the city and at the Michi-no-Eki (roadside station) "Michi-no-Eki Kyotamba Ajimu no Sato" in Kyotamba Town. On this day, 8 local shops, excluding Michi-no-Eki Kyotamba Ajimu no Sato, gathered to showcase their bouillabaisse ramen. Most shops offered a half-size portion. I made sure to try the ramen from the shop that only serves it at night and the shop that includes it as part of their buffet menu. The first shop I visited served the ramen only at night, with a broth base made from clam stock. The broth had a unique seafood flavor with a distinct taste of clams. The noodles were slightly chewy with a good texture. The toppings included shrimp, clams, and watercress. The shrimp was fresh and delicious, but the clams were a bit disappointing in terms of texture. Overall, I enjoyed the dish and would recommend it, especially for evening dining. However, I believe it would be a great addition to the lunch menu as well. Thank you for the delicious meal.
