I arrived just in time for the last order on a regular day. The total was around 2700 yen, including a main dish. Great cost performance! The pizza was delicious as expected. The corn was fresh and in season, sweet and tasty. The crust was also delicious! The main dish, pork, was average but tasty when cooked in the oven. I would love to visit again.

Unexpectedly visited the restaurant two days in a row, haha. I was so impressed by the dinner the previous day that I wanted to try their lunch as well. The lunch menu offers Italian dishes with or without a main course. Of course, I ordered with a main course. You can choose between pasta and pizza, so we each ordered one. We enjoyed the appetizer platter, pasta, pizza, main course, and dessert - everything was delicious.

There have been various transformations in the form of the restaurant, but Matsuno Chef's cooking remains at the core. Every dish is simply delicious. That's what it all comes down to. The ingredients, seasonings, everything is perfect for me. He is also knowledgeable about wine, so even the glass of wine matches the food, allowing you to have a blissful time.

This is a delicious Italian pizzeria located in Terada, Miyagi City. The restaurant serves lunch until 2:00 PM, making it difficult for busy working individuals to visit. However, feeling a bit fed up one day, I decided to visit in a spur of the moment. The restaurant has a parking lot, which was convenient. Inside, there are 6 counter seats and 10 table seats. I ordered the lunch set for 1500 yen, which included salad, appetizers, soup, pasta (I chose carbonara made with local eggs), and dessert. Everything was delicious. I later realized that there is another restaurant called Ristorante Il Fiore next door, which seems to be a sister store. The lunch menu is the same for both restaurants, and the chef here seems to be overseeing both places. It was an interesting setup. I hope to visit the Ristorante next time if I can. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Lunch set for 1500 yen. An additional 300 yen for 5 types of cakes. It's a shame that the prices are listed without tax. The salad had an Italian feel that I'm not a fan of, with olives and balsamic vinegar. The pizza was Margherita, and it was bigger than I expected. It seemed to be about 1.3 to 1.4 times the size of a regular pizza from a typical pizza place. It looked delicious and got me excited. It was actually very tasty. I'm not sure what made it so good, maybe it was the perfect softness of the dough. The combination of the tomato's acidity and the hot pizza was great. I also tried the sweet potato potage for the first time, and it was delicious. It was a soup, but the chunky texture of the sweet potato was a nice touch. The variety of cakes, including custard cake, was interesting. The only downside was the prices listed without tax.

On my day off, I regularly meet up with friends in Joyo. We always struggle to decide on a dinner place. Today, my husband said he wanted pasta! So, I searched on Tabelog for a restaurant in Joyo that serves Italian cuisine. The top result was a restaurant that I made a reservation for. As we followed the navigation, we ended up in a narrow alley in a residential area... I started to doubt whether the restaurant really existed there. But just then, a bright light appeared. Honestly, I didn't have high expectations, but when we arrived at the restaurant, I was surprised! The interior and dishes were cute! And everything we ordered was delicious! Everyone was very satisfied, and we will definitely visit again! (≧∇≦)

I used it for lunch with my mother. My mother seemed to have heard about this place somewhere and had always wanted to go. Since it was a weekday, we were able to make a reservation on the same day. There is a parking space in front of the restaurant, so it is convenient to go by car, but the road is a bit narrow. The restaurant is located on the first floor of a building that looks like an apartment, with a pizzeria on the right and an osteria on the left. We had made a reservation at the pizzeria, so we went there. There seems to be one set lunch menu for 1500 yen, but you can add a main dish for an additional charge. The set includes an assorted appetizer, soup, pizza or pasta, dessert, and coffee. You can choose from several types of pizza and pasta, but about half of them require an additional charge. Although we entered the pizzeria, both of us strangely chose pasta. The assorted appetizer had a variety of dishes and felt like a good deal. The soup was brought from the neighboring osteria. The pasta was served with a time difference, so we could enjoy each dish in a delicious state. It was nice to have this little consideration. By the way, the pasta was also brought from the neighboring osteria. The dessert assortment at the end had various options, which was delightful. I think it's a restaurant where you can enjoy satisfying dishes at a reasonable price. Thank you for the meal.

I wanted to eat delicious pizza and found Il Fiore, a wood-fired pizza restaurant, within a 30-minute drive from Nara. It is located in a residential area. The appetizer platter was quite generous and had a great cost-performance ratio. The broccoli and potatoes were delicious! The seasoning was simple and to my liking. The wood-fired oven caught my attention, and since there were no other customers, I was allowed to take a photo in front of the oven without hesitation. The pizzas are large in size, so it's better to order one at a time. I ordered the Prosciutto Rucola for the first one. I watched eagerly as they stretched the dough and put it in the oven until it was cooked. It was quickly done, and the sliced prosciutto with fresh rucola on top was delicious. The light and flavorful wheat dough complemented it well. They only had reserved orders for the wood-fired oyster pizza, so I ordered the Diavola for the second pizza. It had a nice kick of spiciness, but I preferred the Prosciutto Rucola. With a drink each, it came to a little over 3,000 yen per person. The staff were friendly and it was a fun experience. I recommend it to those in Nara for casual dining. Next time, I want to try the wood-fired oyster pizza! Thank you for the meal!

On October 30, Pizzeria Il Fico is participating in the Japan Blog Village Italian Cuisine (Gourmet) Ranking! When asked by pizza chefs, "What kind of pizza do you like?" I answer, "I like delicious pizza." Good evening pizza lovers! I recently visited the 160th pizzeria on my nationwide pizzeria tour, Pizzeria Il Fico in Joyo City, Kyoto Prefecture. It's about 20-30 minutes by train from Kyoto Station and a 5-10 minute walk from the station. This place has two shops on the ground floor of a building, with the one across the stairs being the first to open, called "Ristorante Il Fico." Recently, I've been conscious of my cholesterol levels, so I try to avoid eating two Neapolitan pizzas if they aren't very delicious, but here I succumbed to the temptation of deliciousness and ended up eating two pizzas. The edge of the pizza is about 1 centimeter, giving the impression of thinness, but the pizza dough was delicious with a crispy and chewy texture. In addition to pizza, the menu is full of local ingredients, and they also offer the traditional Neapolitan dessert "Baba." The manager and pizzaiolo, Keiga Nakajima, has experience training in Naples, and the Neapolitan pizza baked in the wood-fired oven was truly delicious. If you have the opportunity to visit Kyoto or Nara, I would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant again.

I had some errands near this place on my day off, but my plans changed suddenly so I decided to drop by. I visited the pizzeria in front of the restaurant in Jotoji Temple. The interior has a kitchen with a wood-fired oven, counter seats, and table seats. The white walls and wooden atmosphere give off a Southern Italian vibe, making it a cozy place. On this day, I ordered the following:
- Prosciutto Rucola for 1600 yen: A visually appealing pizza with tomato sauce, prosciutto, mozzarella, and arugula. It's quite large, about 30cm in diameter, and the thin, chewy crust makes it easy to eat. Personally, I prefer it a bit crispier, but overall, it's a pretty good pizza.
- Joto Vegetables Bagna Cauda for 1200 yen: I had this as an appetizer. The fresh vegetables paired with the bubbling hot bagna cauda were delightful. If you enjoy garlic, you'll find it quite delicious. The variety of vegetables, including myoga, was surprising but they all complemented the dish well.
I think it's a pretty high-quality pizzeria that makes you wish there was one like it in your neighborhood.

I went to a restaurant where a person who used to work at a place I frequented in the past had opened their own shop. It was a bit narrow on the way to the restaurant, so it might be better to take a train if you plan on drinking. However, there was parking space in front of the restaurant, but it was full when we arrived, so we dropped off the family in front of the shop and parked at a parking lot in front of the city hall, which was about a 5-minute walk away. We tried various dishes from appetizers to pizza to pasta, but the pizza was the best! It was deliciously baked in a wood-fired oven, giving it a hint of wood aroma that was very enticing. We couldn't drink since we came by car, but next time I want to come by train and enjoy plenty of red wine.

The freshly baked pizza that comes out right after ordering is really delicious. There are many varieties to choose from, so it's easy to get tempted to try different flavors. I recommend going with a few people and sharing so you can enjoy a variety of tastes. If you go with a small group, you might get full quickly. The bagna cauda is also very tasty and I always order it. You can taste the deliciousness of the vegetables. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts is delicious. The road in front of the store is a bit narrow, but there is parking available, which is convenient.

Three friends and I went to have lunch together. We had made a reservation for 12:30 and arrived at the restaurant. The place was already full, but they had a table reserved just for us. I had heard a lot of good things about this place from acquaintances, so I really wanted to try it out, and it lived up to the hype. The first course included salmon, salad, and various dishes made with local vegetables, all of which were delicious. We couldn't help but mention that we wanted seconds. Then came a cold pea soup, which was also very tasty with a strong natural sweetness. We ordered two pasta lunches and one pizza lunch, and everything was confirmed to be okay. We shared and tried a bit of everything, and the pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven with buffalo cheese on top, was exceptional. I ordered a pasta dish with a Japanese twist, which was also very delicious. We couldn't finish all the food, but the staff kindly offered to pack it up for us to take home. For dessert, we had mango panna cotta, which was incredibly delicious and we wished we could have ordered more. We found out later that we could have upgraded our dessert for an additional charge, and we joked that we should have done that because it was so good. We were extremely satisfied with the service, food, and overall experience. I would love to come back for dinner next time. Thank you very much.

During my day off, I had some free time so I decided to have lunch at a nearby restaurant that I had heard good things about. It's located deep in a residential area, so it may be a bit difficult to park if you have a large car. I ordered the assorted appetizers, Margherita pizza, and carbonara, which are classic choices. The appetizers were generous in portion and visually appealing, with a slightly strong flavor reminiscent of rustic Italian cuisine. The pizza was authentic, with a chewy crust, a smoky flavor from the oven, and delicious arugula and prosciutto toppings. The carbonara had a strong egg yolk flavor and lacked a bit of creaminess. It could have used more cheese or cream to balance it out. Overall, the meal was quite filling and a bit on the pricey side. This restaurant is a great option when you're craving pizza.

A little while ago, after having a drink at the Italian restaurant next door, I bought a pizza as a souvenir. It was late and I think they might have accidentally burned it, but they still gave it to me, which was nice. The ingredients were good, but I wonder what happened to it in the end.

There are few authentic restaurants in the southern part of Kyoto Prefecture. Last year, a wine bar (Italian wine) opened in Fushimi and I was thrilled. This time, a pizzeria with a pizza oven, run by a pizzaiolo from Naples, opened in Joyo. I went to check it out right away.
The restaurant is located near the Joyo City Hall, next to Ristorante Il Fioco. When I opened the door, I saw the oven right in front of me. It's a dome-shaped oven, a bit shorter than a Naples oven. The pizzaiolo was smiling while baking in front of the oven.
I sat at the counter seat and ordered after hearing the menu explanation.
What I had:
A set menu available only for the first two days. It included a glass of sparkling wine (white), white wine, and red wine.
Antipasto Misto with five kinds of appetizers, a nice selection to enjoy with wine.
Margherita pizza, cooked for about a minute. It had the typical Italian colors and the crust was just right.
When I picked it up, I could feel the thin center of the pizza, definitely a Naples-style pizza.
The outer part was crispy, but the inside was fluffy. I could taste the flavor of the flour and the cheese was of good quality.
Black olives as a side dish with wine.
Watching the process of stretching the dough and using the peel was very enjoyable.
In a brief conversation with the owner, he mentioned something about not fully grasping the fire yet... It was a statement that made me confident that a great restaurant had been established (the score is provisional until my next visit).
