It was quite crowded during Saturday lunch, and with only two people running the place, it was quite a challenge. I even thought about offering to help out. ^ ^ Despite the hustle and bustle, I didn't have high expectations for the taste, but the black vinegar sweet and sour pork that I ordered was rich and incredibly delicious. It took a while to be served, but it was worth the wait. It was really delicious. Thank you for the meal. ■2023/02/15■ーnaba's ThoughtsーA hearty ramen and fried rice set! The combination of several types of ramen and various fried rice options was quite substantial. I chose the salt ramen and mixed fried rice from the top of the menu. The fried rice was generous in portion, and since I was there early that day, I even got a complimentary oolong tea as a service. It was a conscientious and affordable Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood. ^ ^

From Fukuchiyama Station, take Route 9 towards Fukuchiyama Interchange. When you see the Bridgestone sign on your left, exit the highway (like going downhill). Turn right onto the road and continue south for a while until you see a shop on your right. There are about 5 parking spaces in front of the shop, and it seems like there is another parking lot a little further away (there is a signboard in front of the shop). Inside the shop, there are a few seats at the counter, several seats at partitioned counters, and about 4 raised tables (approximately). The shop seems to have quite a few seats. The language spoken in the shop seems to be Chinese. The shop had been closed for a long period of time, but recently there were a few cars parked outside, indicating that it was open. I ordered the daily special, which was fried chicken, and it arrived after a 12-minute wait. The meal included soup, small dishes, salad, pickles, and dessert. The fried chicken was large and there were 5 pieces, providing a satisfying meal. The taste was standard for fried chicken. The minced meat, similar to a hamburger, was fried and had a meatball-like taste. The spring roll was the type commonly found in bento boxes. The salad was fresh and crunchy. I packed 3 pieces of fried chicken to take home. The total cost was 979 yen including tax. The shop owners, who seemed to be a couple, were busy speaking Chinese. They also promoted takeout options due to the current situation with COVID-19. Hopefully, the shop will regain its bustling atmosphere from before the pandemic. Thank you for the meal.

Before the lunch sales, I decided to have a little snack. I found a Chinese restaurant by googling it, and they had two types of mapo tofu on the menu: "Mapo Tofu" and "Sichuan Mapo Tofu". I tried the "Sichuan Mapo Tofu" set meal. It wasn't as spicy as authentic mapo tofu, but it was quite authentic. It was a happy surprise to find such authentic Chinese cuisine in this countryside area. The soup and side dish (oil-drizzled chicken) were also delicious. I felt like coming back to Fukuchiyama for work and trying it again.

■2023/07/01■ーnaba's thoughtsー Affordable and delicious city Chinese food - Fukka Tianjin Fried Rice for 850 yen. The Tianjin-style egg on top looks beautiful and appetizing. The portion size is generous and the fried rice is also tasty.
